“Trump has zero tolerance for anti-Semitism, Democrats have 100% tolerance”.
The Democratic Party depends on antisemitic voters
By Karin McQuillan AMERICAN THINKER
President Trump’s statement on anti-Semitism the day after the Tree of Life massacre truly was “electrifying.”
The Jews have endured terrible persecution, and you know that we’ve all read it: We’ve studied it. They’ve gone through a lot and those seeking their destruction…we will seek their destruction…Never again.
It touched my heart deeply. Jews have never, but never, been given this kind of whole-hearted support by an American leader before. Trump told the rally-goers in Illinois, slowly, and with great emphasis:
This evil anti-Semitic attack is an assault on all of us. It’s an assault on humanity. It will require all of us, working together, to extract the hateful poison of anti-Semitism from our world. This was an anti-Semitic attack at its worst. The scourge of anti-Semitism cannot be ignored, cannot be tolerated, and it cannot be allowed to continue. We cannot allow it to continue. It must be confronted and condemned everywhere it rears its very ugly head. We must stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters to defeat anti-Semitism, and vanquish the forces of hate – that’s what it is.
American Socialism through the Prism of Marxism
By Alexander G. Markovsky, AMERICAN THINKER
Few events in history rival the gap between exuberant optimism and tumultuous reality, great dreams and vain illusions, as the spread of socialism. Its rise and fall constituted one of the most tragic episodes of the last century. It has created unparalleled violence, millions of innocent victims, modern slavery, and environmental disasters of biblical proportions. The movement has gone from spectacular triumphs to humiliating defeats – from victory in Russia in 1917 and the conquest of Eastern Europe and China in the 1930s and 1940s to what seemed an unstoppable march in Africa and Latin America in the 1960s and 1970s, and then to the spectacular implosion of the Soviet Union, the liberation of Eastern Europe, and the economic liberalization of China.
What is socialism? Who are American socialists, and what are they fighting for? Socialism is a political philosophy and economic system that promotes egalitarianism – a theory of economic equality. It is usually defined as “common ownership of the means of production,” which is in the ballpark of the definition given by Karl Marx.

China is extensively moving into the Middle East
Economic cooperation of China with the countries of the region is progressing very successfully.
China is turning into an increasingly active player in the Middle East, entering the competition for influence in the region with both the United States and Russia. While Beijing views the Middle East region from the perspective of economic interests, Moscow and Washington view it from the perspective of geopolitical interests.

American Interests After the Khashoggi Murder
Shoshana Bryen • October 31, 2018 • The Washington Times
Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi. (Photo: AP)Now that the first blast of hot air is gone, it may be possible to discuss l’Affaire Kashoggi rationally. First, the stipulations:
- Jamal Kashoggi should not have been killed. Period.
- In the longer form, that stipulation reads that no one should be killed by governments that disapprove of what they say, write, or think. That applies to Saudi Arabia, but also to Russia,Turkey, Iran and China, and others, all of which have dispatched their enemies to far less fanfare. [By the way, where is Interpol President Meng Hongwei who disappeared on a visit to China from his home in France in early October?]
- Turkey is not a reliable source of information on Saudi Arabia. Its animosity goes back centuries.
- The United States is not responsible for Kashoggi’s death, as The Washington Post more than implied. It is not the judge and jury of his killers and was not in a position to protect a man moving between two other countries. Righteous anger is not a call to war.

Israel says Mossad tipped off Danes to alleged Iranian assassination plot
Copenhagen recalled its ambassador to Tehran after Israel alerted it to a plan to kill Iranian opposition figures in the Scandinavian country, officials say
The Mossad intelligence service provided its Danish counterpart with information concerning an alleged plot by Tehran to assassinate three Iranian opposition figures living in the Scandinavian country, Israeli officials said Wednesday.
The information about Israel’s involvement in the thwarting of the plot was first released to a small number of journalists by a “senior official,” but was later confirmed by others.
Massive European study finds large gap in East, West acceptance of Jews
T. Belman. Very distressing to learn just how pervasive antisemitism is.
Perhaps my readers might comment on the factors that influence the different percentages between the east, the west and the north.
Pew surveys of 56,000 adults in 34 nations find Western Europeans more willing to have Jewish family members, neighbors than in East; divide in acceptance of Muslims even greater
Eastern Europeans are far less willing to have Jews in their families or as their neighbors than their Western European counterparts, a gap that is even more pronounced when it comes to attitudes toward Muslims.
According to an analysis of a series of surveys by the Pew Research Center carried out from 2015 to 2017 among some 56,000 adults in 34 European countries, the gap between Europe’s two halves is significant.
The figures are also largely unchanged among young adults, aged 18-34, suggesting that current attitudes are likely to remain constant for the foreseeable future.

Donald Trump, America’s First Jewish President
T. Belman. If you want to know if a person is Jewish, look at the religion of his grandkids. Trump has 3 Jewish grandkids by Ivanka and 5 almost Jewish grandkids by Vanessa who is half Jewish. ( I don’t know what half but presume her father was Jewish
Not only did Pres Trump vist Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue and hospital to honour the victims but Jared and Ivanka and Amb Ron Dermer accompanied them. Not only were they representing the US but they were also there in their personal capacity as Jews. I am very impressed.
By Marc A. Scaringi, AMERICAN THINKER
The American people should be proud of their president. In the wake of the tragic shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, President Trump spoke out in the most forceful condemnation of anti-Semitism ever uttered by an American president.
While former president Barack Obama nonsensically chose to the blame the lawfully possessed firearm used in the crime, as if the gun fired itself, Trump put the blame squarely where it belongs: on the evil ideology and man who pulled the trigger while shouting, “Kill all the Jews!”
In a speech in Murphysboro, Illinois, Trump declared,
“We must stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters to defeat anti-Semitism, vanquish the forces of hate … Through the centuries, the Jews have endured terrible persecution…Those seeking [the Jewish people’s] destruction, we will seek their destruction.”
The US gave millions to Arab countries in 1950 to resettle the Arab refugees. The countries took the money and ran.
Historian Kobby Barda has found a lost chapter of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: After World War II, the U.S. gave Israel and Arab nations $1.5 billion to solve the Middle East refugee problem. But only Israel lived up to its end of the deal.

Kobby Barda couldn’t believe what he was seeing. While researching the establishment of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee under the auspices of the Ruderman Program for American Jewish Studies at the University of Haifa, Barda found his way to the personal archive of one Isaiah Leo “Si” Kenen, a Canadian-born lawyer, journalist and philanthropist who was one of the founders of the pro-Israel lobby.

Is America ready for Iran’s plans in Jordan and Lebanon?
America is safer and the world functions better when America is engaged throughout the world.
Every time America tries to pivot its foreign policy toward China and the Far East, the Middle East comes calling. If policy makers in Washington think it’s a binary choice between the challenges of China and North Korea vs. the recurring malignant variants of Shi’ite and Sunni Islamism undermining our national security interests, they are sadly mistaken.
America is safer and the world functions better when America is engaged throughout the world, leading from strength and not from behind. Those who equate engagement with only military action mislead the conversation, as military strength leverages diplomacy, economic sanctions and other tools.
Predicting what’s next in the Middle East is a slippery slope. Who would have predicted the Khashoggi debacle or the 2011 Arab Winter? Yet, it is still imperative for the United States to invest the time and resources to analyze the likely possibilities of what’s coming next to create flexible strategies.

Glick: Jordan’s King Abdullah — Weak, Untrustworthy, and Irreplaceable
T. Belman. “Weak”? For sure. “Untrustworthy”? Absolutely. “Irreplaceable”? Nonsense.
King Abdullah of Jordan Needs to Abdicate written by me and published by American Thinker, among others, makes the case for why he is not an ally and why Mudar Zahran can and should replace him.
It is an open secret, seldom discussed, that the regime of King Abdullah II of Jordan is extraordinarily weak.
He is viewed in the U.S. as a close ally, whose counsel is sought by senior officials and foreign policy practitioners. But more than an ally, Abdullah is a dependent. Without the U.S. — and to a similar degree, without Israel — the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan would not long survive.
The weakness of the Kingdom has two sources. First, Jordan is poor. It lacks natural resources, and due to the regime’s failure to liberalize the economy or reform the legal system in order to cultivate economic growth and productivity, there are few opportunities for private advancement. The average Jordanian lives in poverty. Per capita income in Jordan is $3,238 per year.

Should it be illegal to insult Mohammed?
Should you be allowed to say that the founder of one of the world’s largest religions was a paedophile? According to the European Court of Human Rights the answer is ‘no’. In a decision issued this week the Court in Strasbourg ruled that this statement is defamatory towards the prophet of Islam, ‘goes beyond the permissible limits of an objective debate’ and ‘could stir up prejudice and put at risk religious peace.’ Details of the long-running case can be read here.

On Saudi Arabia, Israel Must Decide Between Interests and Values
T. Belman. Arens says we can handle Iran without Saudi Arabia so we shouldn’t compromise our principles and enleague with them. Perhaps. But if we are to embrace them why not demand a mutual embrace. We must insist that they recognize Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people and accept our eastern border as the Jordan River.
Israel and the United States can tackle the Iran issue alone; nothing can justify the recent revelations in the murder of journalist and MBS critic Jamal Khashoggi, which show how things are truly done in Saudi Arabia
By Moshe Arens , HAARETZ
When choosing allies for opposition to a common enemy, balancing interests against values is a perfectly legitimate issue that governments occasionally face. Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt chose to be allied with Stalin’s brutal communist dictatorship in the war against Germany. Without the participation of the Soviet Army, they would have faced an impossible task. National interests trumped stark ideological differences, and rightly so.

Israeli leaders on Monday welcomed the election of Jair Bolsonaro, a controversial hardliner, as new president of Brazil, hailing his bona fide pro-Israel credentials.
“I am certain that your election will lead to a great friendship between our nations and to a strengthening of Israel-Brazil ties,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Bolsonaro during a congratulatory phone call, according to a readout his office on Monday evening.
“Looking forward to your visit in Israel,” he added, referring to the far-right politician’s pledge to come to Israel on his foreign trip as president.

CANDIDLY SPEAKING: Restore deterrance in Gaza now
The horrible reality is that we are in fact negotiating with a terrorist entity while our own military acts as though Hamas represents an equal, mutual deterrent.
All of us abhor military confrontation or war, which inevitably leads to casualties.
Today Israel faces a major threat from Hamas in the south; Iran and Hezbollah could become involved if we go for the military option.
I am not privy to military strategy or intelligence and neither am I aware of what other diplomatic elements are in play which may inhibit us from acting.
The Jewish state was created as a haven for the Jewish people who were powerless in the face of persecution in their countries of birth. Israel has developed as a serious military power and has the obligation to provide security to all its citizens. Yet it has failed to do so for months and effectively neglected those residents in the South who feel like helpless refugees in their own country. Such inaction would not have been tolerated if the target had been Tel Aviv rather than Sderot.

Don’t Insult Me As a Rabbi by Blaming Your Political Enemies for Some Dirtbag Jew-Hater
By Dov Fischer, AMERICAN SPECTATOR
Here we go again: “It’s all Trump’s fault.”
Do you remember the Democrats and the CNN crowd rushing to blame Saudi Arabia for the 9-11 attack on the Twin Towers? Or to blame Islam? I don’t. There were 19 murderers on 9-11, and 15 of them came from Saudi Arabia. The others also were Muslims. And all we hear — from Obama and George W. Bush on down — is that Islam is a “religion of peace,” so don’t blame Islam. Obama tells us that ISIS “is not Islamic.” Instead, we were told after 9-11, the “Saudis are our friends.” They, their Wahhabi Islam, the hundreds of anti-Christian madrassas they have built throughout the United States, the $10 billion they have poured into Western colleges and universities, the hundreds of millions they have thrown at American universities to buy off entire Middle East Studies departments and to teach anti-Americanism, anti-Christianity, and anti-Judaism to young people on our soil. And yet we repeatedly get fed the mantra about “our friends the Saudis.”
