First 100 days

This election places our commitment to the State of Israel front and center. Just as our ancestors did for us, let us do all we can to make Israel safe and secure.

By David Friedman, JPOST

Donald Trump

The debates are over and the election is just about two weeks away. Never before has the American public been bombarded with more defamatory information on the candidates – in Clinton’s case, truthful revelations from both unscrupulous (e.g.WikiLeaks) and appropriate (e.g. Freedom of Information Act) sources, and in Trump’s case, mostly unproven speculation from what once were reliable sources (e.g. The Washington Post).

With UNESCO vote, Palestinian Authority bid for attention backfires

The UNESCO vote may have put the PA back on center stage instead of Syria, but the spotlights revealed its abuse of international forums – and more.

By Cnaan Lifshiz, INN

(JTA) — If the latest draft resolution at UNESCO on “Occupied Palestine” succeeded in the Palestinians’ aims to reclaim the world’s attention, then it was a Pyrrhic victory at best and a setback at worst.

Part of an effort on Jerusalem initiated at UNESCO in 2015 by the Palestinian Authority, the Oct. 12 vote saw a comfortable majority of states, including Russia and China, pass language calling on Israel “to cease the persistent excavations and works in East Jerusalem, particularly in and around the Old City,” as one clause reads.

Only six countries, the United States and five European Union members, opposed the resolution and 26 abstained.

Yet the specific charges in the text were largely eclipsed by the resolution’s failure to refer to Judaism’s holiest sites by their Jewish names. The erasure of Jewish ties to Jerusalem ignited a diplomatic dispute that is dividing UNESCO, embarrassing some of its member states and exposing the Palestinians to rebuke not only by Israel, but even by passionate supporters of their cause who are angered by what they perceive as an anti-Jewish bid to rewrite history.

Obama vs Baghdad on Sunni cleansing of Mosul

DEBKA

A major dispute on combat tactics which has sprung up between Washington and Baghdad hangs over the coalition’s Mosul offensive after three days of combat. Thursday, Oct. 20, President Barack Obama and US commanders challenged Iraq’s Shiite Prime Minister Haydar al-Abadi and is generals over a 500km long route, the Ba’aj Road, which does not appear on maps, but is pivotal for the offensive’s continuation, DEBKAfile’s exclusive military and intelligence sources report.

INTO THE FRAY: B’tselem at the UN –

Has Israel become so “open-minded” that its collective brains have fallen out?

By MARTIN SHERMAN

B’tselem is not a human rights organization but a politically partisan group for which “human rights” are a pretext for advancing its radical political agenda—Israeli withdrawal

Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad

– Ancient proverb, misattributed to Euripides.

Q: What is the difference between the State of Israel and a lunatic asylum?
A: In a lunatic asylum, at least the management is supposed to be sane
.

– A popular joke

I admit that until this week I was living in a state of blissful ignorance. But this week the bubble burst—and I was left struggling to wrap my mind around the staggering, outrageous, infuriating truth.

8 Thoughts On The Third Debate

By Ben Shapiro, DAILY WIRE

Trump Clinton

Last night’s debate was a demonstration that nominating two absolutely unfit candidates for president may not have been a wise decision for America. There were rock ‘em, sock ‘em moments; there were attack angles from both candidates. But neither candidate was able to provide a comprehensive vision of America’s future, neither had a basic grasp of policy issues, both ignored looming crises like entitlements collapsing, and both demonstrated their penchant for lies and corruption.

Here are some takeaways.

1. Hillary Clinton Is Insanely Corrupt. Hillary breaks out the Nightmare Clown Grin™ every time she has no answer – and she broke it out an insane amount last night. She had no answers for why she took money from regimes that harm gays and women. She had no answers on her emails. She had no answers on why she told a Brazilian firm that she wanted open borders. She had no answers on the material in her Wikileaks. She had no answers on the Clinton Foundation corruption with the State Department. Hillary has no answers on her corruption because she’s ridiculously corrupt.

Trump slammed for not promising to honor election results

T. Belman. Just because the MSM jumped on Trump’s remarks, doesn’t mean they are right. Of course, if there is nothing untoward, Trump will accept the results. But should there be substantial fraud affecting the results, Trump is signalling that he may contest. Of course Trump will wait for the election before announcing whether he accepts the results. Its only prudent. Had he replied, “Barring no fraud, of course I will accept the results.”, he would not have been subject to the same attack. But it means the same thing.

An unprecedented call by a Saudi lobbyist in Washington for a “collaborative alliance” between Israel and Saudi Arabia has prompted an angry response from fellow Saudis.

Writing last week in the Washington, DC publication The Hill, Salman al-Ansari, founder and president of the Saudi America Public Relations Affairs Committee, invoked history, economics and strategic reasons in support of why the two countries should forge a strong alliance.

African nations are willing and ready to develop and expand their diplomatic and business relations with Israel, a spokesman for the ruling political party in the Ivory Coast said on Wednesday.

Joel N’guessan, an official in the Rally of the Republicans party, headed by Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara, said in Jerusalem on Wednesday that the historical cause of the rupture in relations between Israel and African states was a result of political pressure imposed on them by Arab countries who dominated the Islamic world in the 20th century.

Fact-Check: FALSE

Betting Markets that Predicted Brexit Vote Are Pointing to Trump Victory

By Jim Hoft, GATEWAY PUNDIT

Despite the constant drubbing by the corrupt media betting markets are predicting a Trump victory in November.

The Independent reported:

It is news that will strike fear into the hearts of perhaps half of America and large chunks of the world outside of it.

Despite a calamitous week of campaigning, betting markets on the US election are almost a mirror image of those on Britain’s EU referendum at this stage. And they could be pointing to a victory for Donald Trump.

Ann Coulter warned in her book Slander in 2003 that the far left main stream media always uses polls to push their agenda. Polls can be skewed by selecting an unreasonable sample size, by asking lead up questions or by selecting more of a sample population of one side of an issue to achieve a desired result.
