Almost 60% of Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip oppose a future Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders as a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict., a survey conducted last week by An-Najah University in Nablus found.

The survey, which questioned 1,362 people in the two areas, found that 59.4% oppose the idea as a solution to the conflict.

T. Belman. The indented quote is quite telling not just for western reaction to this resolution but to all efforts by the west to live in peace with Islam and Muslims. It is removing all potential conflict by adopting the Islamic narrative.

T. Belman. There is a huge disconnect between Mexico’s current words its decision to abstain. I would have thought that voting “no” was in order. At least it is better than voting in favour as Egypt, Russia and China did. I expected better from these countries. In addition, many Christian nations abstained. It shows that the majority of nations would rather be politically correct than factualy correct.

In a dramatic turn of events, UNESCO was set to revisit on Tuesday a vote on a contentious resolution ignoring Jewish and Christian historical ties to Jerusalem holy sites, following an announcement by Mexico that it had changed its position on the issue and was utilizing a rare provision to allow for a re-vote.

The resolution, sponsored by several Arab countries and passed Thursday in the committee stage of the United Nations cultural body, referred to the Temple Mount and Western Wall only by their Muslim names and condemned Israel as “the occupying power” for various actions taken in both sites.

So here’s the real story: US Amb. Stevens was sent to Benghazi post haste in order to retrieve US made Stinger missiles supplied to Ansar al Sharia without Congressional oversight or permission.

Secretary of Stare Hillary Clinton brokered the deal through Stevens and a private arms dealer named Marc Turi. Then some of the shoulder fired missiles ended up in Afghanistan used against our own military.

It was July 25th, 2012 when a Chinook helicopter was taken down by one of our own Stingers, but the idiot Taliban didn’t arm the missile and the Chinook didn’t explode, but had to land anyway.

State Department criticizes Netanyahu’s attack on B’Tselem and Americans for Peace Now for participating in UN Security Council session on settlements.

The U.S. criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s verbal assault on anti-occupation and human rights groups B’Tselem and Americans for Peace Now over their participation in a UN Security Council session on the settlements Friday.

State Department spokesman John Kirby told Haaretz on Monday that the administration values the information published by the two nonprofits about the situation in the West Bank and stressed that governments should defend freedom of speech.

T. Belman. I have a very knowledgeable and well connected source who claims that the Coup was successful. The army gave Erdowan a choice, namely death, or exile or remain in Turkey as our puppet. He chose the latter. I have been waiting for more evidence of this before making the case. I will keep you posted.

There seems to be a growing rift between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the twin mainstays of the Sunni front against the major threats of Iran’s terrorist operations and nuclear building on the one hand, and against the rogue Sunni Islamic State on the other. The two countries no longer see eye to eye on a number of regional issues, although they deny it and insist that they are still coordinating their actions.

The Egyptian president has stated on a number of occasions that the security of the Gulf is essential to the security of his country, while the Saudi king wrote to Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that any attack on Egyptian security would be seen as an attack on Saudi Arabia.

Highlights from the PPD poll today besides DT being +1.8 overall:

1) DT from +16 yesterday to +21 today among independents
2) DT increase from 10% to 13% in A/A support
3) DT 4 point increase in female support from 33% to 37% with Hillary’s margin over Trump declining 3 points to +11. (DT’s margin with males remained at +17.)
4 Over the past 2 polling days Johnson has dropped 3 points in male support (13% to 10%) while DT has surged from 46% to 50%.

Small changes, but taking the Rasmussen poll (nothing today or Sunday I believe), the UCS/Dornsife poll and this one, all tracking polls show Trump recovering and actually being ahead of Clinton.

Rasmussen reports yesterday, that while Hillary led 45-38% on Monday, Trump now ahead 43-41%.

My blog post following my first trip in June of 2015, “Why I’m Doubling Down On Israel”, remains as relevant as the day I wrote it. But each trip brings additional context. And the more context I get, the more assurance I have that that my Israel thesis is correct?—?as amazing as the world thinks the Israel tech ecosystem is, the world still has no idea of the innovation and value creation to come.

It was a great nine days to be in Israel. The weather was amazing. And there was lots happening, including the DLD Israel Conference, E&Ys renowned Journey conference, a large China Israel Summit, and a terrific UJA Tech Mission (that I lead).
