‘Trump won’t jettison Judea and Samaria,’ advisor says

Trump to Netanyahu: I will recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s united capital

“The Republican platform on Israel is the strongest that either party has ever developed in the history of this country.”

By Tova LazarFF, JPOST

Donald Trump would fight “eternally” to keep Jews in Judea and Samaria if he makes it to the White House, according to one of the Republican contender’s top advisors.

“The Republican platform on Israel is the strongest that either party has ever developed in the history of this country,” Trump’s aid on Israeli affairs David Friedman.

During a closed door meeting with Israelis two weeks ago, Friedman spoke of the unprecedented support that Trump intends to provide to the Jewish state should he be elected president of the United States in November. Evidence of that support, he said, can be seen in the significant changes made to the Republican party’s platform this year.

Giuliani says US should abandon two-state solution

By Michael Wilner, JPOST

United States should give up on a two-state solution between Israel and Palestinians, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said on Saturday night.

The former mayor addressed the Israeli American Council (IAC)– promising to remain apolitical– after four intense days of debate prep with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. His first debate with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is scheduled for Monday night.

Column one: Obama’s denouement

By Caroline B Glick, JPOST

obama israel

The Memorandum of Uderstanding that President Barack Obama concluded last week with Israel regarding US military aid to Israel for the next decade is classic Obama.

Since he entered office nearly eight years ago, Obama’s foreign policy has always sought to kill two birds with one stone. On the one hand, his policies are geared toward fundamentally transforming the US’s global posture. On the other, they work to weaken if not entirely neutralize his congressional opponents at home.

The second goal is no mean task. After all, the US Constitution empowers Congress with the foreign policy powers aimed at checking and balancing the president’s.

Holidays, Motivation and Shaheeds

These holidays are the culmination of a period in which religion, faith in Allah, stringent observance of the commandments and the avoidance of sin, in addition to the vilification of infidels, are paramount.

By Mordechai Kedar, INN

Kedar1The new wave of knife stabbing terror in Israel this past week, almost in sync with the terror attacks in the USA, raises the question: “Why now?” The most facile answer is pointing to the Muslim “Id al Adha” – “holiday of offering” – that also took place last week. The holiday has great significance for Muslims because their entire calendar has only two holidays, both of them at the end of a period of trying to come closer to Allah: Id al Fitr at the end of the Ramadan month of fasting and Id al Adha at the close of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.

These holidays are the culmination of a period in which religion, faith in Allah, stringent observance of the commandments and the avoidance of sin, in addition to the vilification of infidels, are paramount.

The ongoing NYT propaganda campaign

The writer thinks that reading the NYT is shortening her life (G-d forbid). Here’s why.

By Phyllis Chesler, INN

I’m sure that reading the New York Times is shortening my life—and yet I continue to do so. I no longer monitor it as I once did.

Long ago, when it reached Pravda level on the subjects that concern me most: Israel, Anti-Semitism, Jihad, Terrorism, Gender and Religious Apartheid, etc., I decided not to take it that seriously. That is almost impossible to do so since most New Yorkers and half the world read it as if it is the Bible—a secular liberal Bible.

Since I’ve just handed in a new book, I had a moment to catch my breath. Then, I read all the papers from beginning to end.

Chairman Of US Chiefs Of Staff Tells Congress He Won’t Implement Key Element Of Obama’s Syria Policy

“… the most significant threat to our national interests.”

by Yochanan Visser, WESTERN JOURNALISM

This has been another bad week for the Obama administration’s Middle East policy.

First, as Western Journalism reported Tuesday, Obama was caught red-handed lying about money transfers to Iran.

The president had always defended the transfer of $1.7 billion cash to Iran in three installments as inevitable because the U.S. could not wire the money due to sanctions levied on the regime.

But last week, a U.S. Treasury spokesman revealed the administration had wired almost $10 million to Iran on two occasions over the last 14 months.

The Real Middle East Story

WALTER RUSSELL MEAD, THE AMERICAN INTEREST

Precisely because he has a colder view of international affairs than Obama, Netanyahu’s leadership has made Israel stronger than ever.

Peter Baker notices something important in his dispatch this morning: at this year’s UNGA, the Israel/Palestine issue is no longer the center of attention. From The New York Times:

They took the stage, one after the other, two aging actors in a long-running drama that has begun to lose its audience. As the Israeli and Palestinian leaders recited their lines in the grand hall of the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, many in the orchestra seats recognized the script.

“Heinous crimes,” charged Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president. “Historic catastrophe.”

Russian-Syrian Aleppo tactics await the South

DEBKA

In scores of air raids launched early Friday, Sept. 23, Syrian and Russian bombers pulverized Syrian rebel strongholds in eastern Aleppo, while, on the ground, Syrian military, Hizballah and pro-Iranian Shiite militia forces hammered those targets in one of the most destructive onslaughts yet seen in the nearly six-day Syrian civil war.

Cries of “annihilation!” came from rebel commanders, as they came under intense aerial bombardment, combined with a fierce ground assault, backed by heavy Russian T-90 tanks and artillery. Dozens of people including children are trapped in the rubble.

STOP MUSLIM IMMIGRATION IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE

T. Belman. Ever wonder why there are so many Muslims and Muslim countries in the world? Over the millennia, many countries have been conquered and raped but didn’t remain Persian or Greek or Roman as the case may be but the countries conquered in the name of Islam, became and remained Islamic. For example Pakistan, part of India and Malaysia were Hindu; Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Egypt and N. Africa were Christian, Afghanistan was Buddhist. This transformation was not by chance but by design. This design was referred to as The Islamic Doctrine. All these countries were conquered by force then shorn of their wealth and many of their women. The inhabitants were either forced to convert or accorded Dhimmi status.

The advance of Islam was finally stopped at the Gates of Vienna in 1642. Thereafter the power of Islam went into decline but it never lost its hold on the people it conquered, This decline was reversed in the Twentieth Century when Arabs became wealthy due to their possession of vast oil reserves. This wealth was then deployed to conquer the west not by force but by propaganda and now by Migration.

Cruz Endorses Trump for President

By MICHELLE MOONS, BREITBART

Donald Trump (L) shakes hands with Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) following the CNN Republican Presidential Debate March 10, 2016 in Miami, Florida.

Sen. Ted Cruz has endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump for President four months after dropping out of the race for president, returning to his work in the U.S. Senate, and beginning to campaign for re-election in 2018.

A statement from Cruz read:

This election is unlike any other in our nation’s history. Like many other voters, I have struggled to determine the right course of action in this general election.

In Cleveland, I urged voters, “please, don’t stay home in November. Stand, and speak, and vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket whom you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution.”

Study shows US Jewish votes could play decisive role in swing states

There are nearly three times more Jews in Florida’s Palm Beach than Obama’s entire margin of victory in the state in 2012

Unprecedented state-by-state research indicates Jews are mostly Democrats, not necessarily ‘liberal,’ could swing election in a tight race

A new study, touted as the first-ever state-by-state, county-by-county Jewish population estimate, shows how the Jewish vote could play a crucial role in key battleground states.

The study, released Thursday and conducted by the Steinhardt Social Research Institute at Brandeis University in suburban Boston, found that in Bucks County, Pennsylvania — one of the areas closely watched this election cycle — Jewish adults make up more than 6 percent of the population.

The UK Parliament just confirmed what the alternative media has been saying for years.

Specifically, a new report from the bipartisan House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee – based on interviews with all of the key British decision-makers, review of documents, and on-the-ground investigations in Africa – found that Libyan war was based on lies, that it destroyed the country, and that it spread terrorism far and wide.

INTO THE FRAY: Obama at the UN – Why he was right…almost

By MARTIN SHERMAN

Obama’s UN address was an eloquent concoction of soaring rhetoric & banal platitudes, of statements of the obvious & of the obviously false, delivered with impeccable polish and panache.

a nation ringed by walls would only imprison itself…Israelis and Palestinians will be better off if Palestinians reject incitement and recognize the legitimacy of Israel, but Israel recognizes that it cannot permanently occupy and settle Palestinian land.

– Barack Hussein Obama, UN General Assembly Sept. 20, 2016

At the U.N., Only Israel Is an ‘Occupying Power’

By Eugene Kontorovich,

The United Nations began its annual session this week, and Israel will be prominent on the agenda. Many fear the Security Council may consider a resolution setting definite territorial parameters, and a deadline, for the creation of a Palestinian state.

President Obama has hinted that in the final months of his term, he may reverse the traditional U.S. policy of vetoing such resolutions. The General Assembly, meanwhile, is likely to act as the chorus in this drama, reciting its yearly litany of resolutions criticizing Israel.
