Jordan’s king is pretty much its last. Even the Israeli military establishment has openly voiced that they believe this king is the last King of Jordan. It’s coming sooner or later, there’s no escaping that.
Peloni: Christine provides an important analysis of the disturbing trend coming from Saudi Arabia and Turkey since October 7, citing specific reports demonstrating this trend. Normalization with the Saudis provides an import oportunity for the Saudis to shift their economy towards diversifying away from its dependence on energy production alone. This was believed to be the path on which the future would be travel. In the recent months, and in particular in recent weeks, this belief has been seriously called into question. Some, such as Khaled Hassan, have come to completely distrust the motivations of the Saudis given their return to projecting antisemitic commentary as the official language of the regime. Is there any real basis for ignoring the Kingdom’s retrograding policy aligning with our enemies? Or is the romance with MBS at an end?

The world seems largely to think that Israel is so eager for normalization with Muslim countries that ordinary conditions don’t apply. Saudi Arabia has already made it clear repeatedly that it considers no normalization possible without Israel’s return to its pre-1967 borders (aka “the Auschwitz borders”), and the Saudis also expect that East Jerusalem would be established as the capital of a Palestinian state. For the Israelis to accept such conditions would be utter madness.
Peloni: Is it believable that Trump will try to push thru a decapitation strike, where the regime falls, while not having confidence in what comes next, not even enough confidence to meet with Pahlavi? I have noted that since Trump delayed the strike, that he would eventually carry out the intended strike on Iran, but I have also noted that it is unlikely that the strike will be intended to see regime change in Iran. I hope that this view is inaccurate. Certainly, the Iranian people, the people of the region, and the people of America, have all suffered enough slaughters at the hands of the Iranians to motivate the US to see a new regime replace the repressive stranglehold on the Iranians which has tentacles of slaughter all across the globe and is focused on the conquest of the US and the West. Unfortunately, I have not seen anything which leads me to believe that collapsing regime in Tehran will be the true objective of any forthcoming strike. This is what needs to be done, but I seriously doubt this will be the objective in any strike coming in the next hours, days or weeks. Time will tell.
Ambassador Huckabee: Trump is ‘deeply affected’ by evidence of thousands of Iranians being murdered by regime in Tehran
Does President Donald J. Trump’s point man in Israel believe the Iranian regime is ready to make major concessions rather than go to war?
Peloni: Our history is only precious to us, but more than this, our history stands as a threat to our enemies. Hence, taking control of the archaeological record of our past is an essential aspect of enacting sovereignty. In pursuit of this goal, the Israeli govt has FINALLY taken steps to nationalize a mere 1.5 square kilometer of land containing the ancient remains of the ancient capital of the Northern Kingdom of Ancient Israel. It is heartbreaking to realize that Arab squatters have been empowered to seize this land and that the PA has been allowed to purposefully destroy the record of our ancient presence on our ancestral lands. Hence, contrary to the image presented by the Al Jazeera propagandists, it is only disheartening to recognize that this act of cultural preservation of our history was ignored for decades as the PA and Arab squatters destroyed the documentation of our ancient past held in preservation in the land of our forefathers. Well done! Shomrom, the seat of power of our ancient Northern Kingdom, has been required for the benefit of history and our people.

Welcome back to Part 2 of Forgiven and Forgotten: MEK.
In Part 1, we focused solely on the years 1972 to 1976, when the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) murdered three American military personnel and three American contractors in Iran, all under the banner of “fighting the Shah” and launching their own revolution.
Now, we dig deeper.

Among the most shocking developments in America since October 7, 2023 is the surge of anti-Israel sentiment being taught in public school classrooms, heard from teachers’ unions, and seen at local school board meetings.

It is, first, a fascinating sociological phenomenon, like a virus, if not biological then spiritual, whose etiology and transmission between people remains a mystery.

PM Carney meets with President Xi. Screengrab via Youtube [Cropped]
On January 16th, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing to establish a “new strategic partnership” that enhances cooperation in trade, energy, the economy, and security. Such an agreement between our biggest neighbor and our biggest rival naturally heightened tensions between Carney and President Donald Trump. Carney contributed to the friction by stating at the World Economic Forum (WEF) that the old world order is over, emphasizing that he aims to reduce Canada’s reliance on the U.S.

For years, Israel has been at the center of heated debates about Middle East politics, but one argument that has lately emerged in public discourse is both historically inaccurate and unjust. Some commentators now suggest that modern jihadist terrorism against the United States and its allies exists because of America’s support for Israel. This claim is not only misleading it diverts attention from the real roots of Islamist terror.
Panelists say lack of courage on the right has allowed antisemitism to grow
A group of conservative panelists addressed the issue of antisemitism on the American right at the Second Annual International Conference on Combating Antisemitism in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
The panel discussion was led by Dr. Gadi Taub of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and included Pastor Dumisani Washington, founder and CEO of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel; Dr. James Lindsay, founder of New Discourses; Seth Dillon, CEO of the Babylon Bee; and Karys Rhea, a political commentator and fellow at the Middle East Forum.
Paul Schnee: If the assessments in Tawil’s article below are correct then Witkoff, Kushner and DT have been dreadfully duped and in the case of Witkoff willingly so.
A war to finally finish off Israel is on the horizon but may have to wait until DT is out of office.
In the meantime, all sales of F-35s to Saudi Arabia and Turkey should be canceled immediately. That deal was a huge mistake to begin with.
It is not clear to me how Israel’s enemies would deal with her nuclear weapons unless they have discovered a way to neutralize them.
If our leaders require more proof of just how lethal the Muslim Brotherhood is they need only read Tawil’s article to understand that its tentacles reach across the globe and that it has no good intentions towards the West. Its entire reason for existence is to replace western civilization with Islam and its ferocious hatreds that will empty the future for us all. Any government, any organization or any politician associated with it is our mortal enemy.

Syrian President Ahmed al Sharaa made his second visit to Moscow in four months on January 28, even as Russia is withdrawing its forces from the city of Qamishli in northeastern Syria. Moscow may hope that its withdrawal will help ensure Damascus grants Russia continued access to key bases in western Syria.

For those naive people who thought Trump was being harsh by coming down hard on his Canadian neighbor Mark Carney for deals with China, the report below shows the alliance between Communist China and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Carney is no match for China. Carney and Xi Jinping are simply not on an even playing field. And America cannot afford to share a border with a stooge of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Peloni: The determination by the US that the success of Trump’s deal is more important than enforcing the terms of the deal adds a troublesome context to a deal which was troubling in its original form. As time passes, the deal has become more and more estranged from its original text, and now includes Hamas becoming part of the solution for what came about as a direct consequence of Hamas being considered part of the solution twenty years ago. Notably, the problem is not merely with Hamas, but with the Islamist ideology which rejects any toleration of Israel, and notably, this ideology is now present on Trump’s Board of Peace, within the Gaza technocratic PA govt, and on the ground with Hamas being considered to be included in the new policing authority in Gaza. As with Oslo, when the focus remains upon having some deal rather than being upon dealing with the underlying causes of the conflict, ie the Islamists in region being treated as peace partners, there can be little hope for any resulting peace.

Peloni: Diliman Abdulkader is the Director of the American Friends of Kurdistan and he joins Sarah Stern of EMET in a frank and dark depiction of where the Kurds stand today. Having been bartered off to the will of the Turks, the Kurds stand upon the precipice of utter destruction. Standing as the second abandonment of Trump, the first being during the first Trump administration, the question arises what the US has in store for the remaining minorities in Syria as they continue to embolden, empower, and enrich Turkey’s man in Demascus. Only Israel stands between the Turks and these minority groups today, and the question remains to be answered if this will be enough to forestall the US support of Turkey in Syria from achieving its ultimate goal of complete conquest and subjugation of Syria. This question however appears to be all but conclusively answered for the Kurdish regions in Northern Syria.
