T. Belman. Don’t focus on what is denied, focus on what is not denied, namely that such a deal has been under negotiations as set out by Indyk. Nor did Netanyahu deny that such negotiations wren’t currently in discussions. Nor did he order COGAT to stop working on such a plan which he no doubt originally authorized. All he said, without an agreement I won’t give then one meter/dunam.

Channel 2 had reported that Netanyahu had planned as well to hand some portion of that territory over to the Palestinian Authority.

There are a lot more facts to support this view.

1. Obama totally supported the MB which is salafist.
2. It removed secular dictators or tried to; Ghadaffi, Mubarak and Assad.
3. It still wants the removal of assad thus it stands to reason that it and others who want the removal of Assad like Saudi Arabia would all be backing ISIS. Originally the backed the MB and Turkey in the attempt to overthrow Assad.
4.Turkey continues to support ISIS openly. Obama allows this.
5. Obama blames Putin for not fighting ISIS.. Why should he? He wants to support Assad and this means fighting all opposition groups. Obama postures that Russia was supposed to bomb ISIS so he can be critical of Putin.
6 Obama didn’t really commit to defeating ISIS. He just ineffectively bombed they while supplying them with weapons.

The chairman of the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee has proposed legislating a clause that would allow the state to deport the families of terrorists for the duration of half of the terrorist’s prison sentence.

Nissan Slomiansky (Habayit Hayehudi) has also suggested stripping Israeli citizenship or residency status from family members of terrorists who commit murder.

“Unfortunately, there is not enough of a deterrent in the existing law,” MK Slomiansky said. “I believe that this step would introduce much more powerful deterrence than taking action against the terrorist alone.”

Judea-Samaria-Gaza survey: 72% support terror wave, 44% want shooting attacks, and 48% term goal as destruction of Israel.

A new public opinion poll among the Arab residents of Judea, Samaria and Gaza found that an overwhelming majority supports continuing the ongoing terror wave to the bitter end.

The poll was conducted by the Watan Research Center between November 14-21 and included 1,167 Arab respondents.

A full 72% said they support continuing the “Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Intifada,” as it has been termed, until it achieves its “goals,” which they were later asked to define.

T. Belman. I recently opined that, “Iran won’t agree to a solution which requires them to lose their Syrian proxy”. I wrote that this is particularly so because they are backed by Russia and China. I sent the article to Gen Vallely who presented such a plan to Putin and asked for his opinion. He has not yet responded. I also sent it to Alex Maistrovoy, a Russian-Israel journalist and a friend of mine. He replied:

Yes, Ted, I agree completely with your analysis – Syria is vital important for Iran. if Iran will lose Syria it risks to give up not only Lebanon but Iraq too to Sunnis. So it will support Asad by all means.

1. Does Russia want to be partners with Iran as it extends its hegemony from  Lebanon to the Persian Gulf?
Russia is natural partner of Iran. it wants like Iran to undermine US influence and its partners – Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states; it sees Iran as natural barrier against radical Sunni; it wants like Iran to weaken Turks with Erdogan and his Muslim Brothers. So it wants strong Iran in any case.

2. Is Russia a threat to Israel?
No, Russia is not itself treat to Israel. there are some cooperation between two countries including change of important intelligence information regarding Sunni radicals, they support together al-Sisi and so on. Russia have too many enemies to spoil relations with Israel: it buys now many products from Israel and wants to cooperate with it in high tech. There are good relations between Bibi and Putin – there is hot line between them. In last war in Gaza Putin supported Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia against Kerri who supported Turkey and Qatar.

Obama’s refugee strategy favors Muslims

Standing before the cameras in Turkey, President Obama found his safe place to indict half his countrymen for raising the issue of religion in their concern over his plan to open America’s gates to tens of thousands of Muslim “refugees” from Syria. Subjecting refugees to a religious test runs counter to American values, said Mr. Obama.

The Harvard Law School graduate got it wrong, again. As Andrew McCarthy notes, the immigration law explicitly requires religious considerations. How could it do otherwise? Religion is a prime reason why people are persecuted and expelled from their homelands.

While admitting that he was not in possession of all of the facts regarding Turkey’s downing of a Russian warplane on November 24th, President Obama was quick to blame only Russia. He said at a joint news conference with French President Francois Hollande that Turkey had “a right to defend its territory and its airspace.” Obama also criticized Russia for propping up Syrian President Assad by going after the so-called “moderate” rebels rather than concentrating on ISIS. From the information that has come out so far, however, Turkey appears to have acted precipitously, without sufficient justification or forethought about the potential consequences. Russia does bear some responsibility for what happened, but Turkey overreacted to a minor alleged violation of its airspace. In doing so, Turkey risked a major escalation of hostilities with Russia that could draw in NATO. Turkey’s action also undermined efforts to forge a coordinated strategy with Russia to combat the common enemy, ISIS.

Yisrael Beytenu leader harshly criticizes Netanyahu for his handling of the terror wave.

Yisrael Beitenu leader Avigdor Liberman on Saturday came out swinging at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying his handling of the wave of terror that Israel is facing was “catastrophic.”

At a cultural event in Tel Aviv, Liberman said that in order to extinguish terror, its sources that incite it, its finance and its commanders must be dealt with. He said that when these elements have immunity there is no chance to stamp out the terror.

“Without a shadow of doubt targeted assassinations must be renewed because they are effective. The terrorists are continuing to dig tunnels and manufacture long-range missiles.”

But in Canada, with Justin Trudeau and his Liberals having recently defeated Stephen Harper and his Conservatives, it is a different story.

Even before the dust settled on last Friday’s happy headlines proclaiming that after 30 years in federal prison, Jonathan Pollard was being released, we discovered that his release wasn’t the end of his sad saga.

Pollard’s parole conditions are draconian. For the next five years he will be under curfew, barred from stepping outside his apartment after 7 pm. He is prohibited from surfing the Internet. Anyone hiring him will be required to allow law enforcement authorities full access to their computers. Pollard already lost one job due to this condition.

The diplomatic-security cabinet held marathon discussions over the last two days about the possibility that the Palestinian Authority will collapse and how Israel would deal with such a development, according to three sources who either attended the meetings or were briefed on them.
Several ministers argued that the PA’s collapse could serve Israel’s interests, so Israel shouldn’t try to prevent it, a senior official who attended the meeting said.

The minister’s discussion of the PA began Wednesday afternoon and continued until late at night, then resumed yesterday evening for another several hours.
