You say we run the banks. You say we run Hollywood. You say we control the media. You say we have too much influence, too much power, too much pride.

But you never ask why.

Syria’s interim president, Ahmad al-Sharaa, received a warm welcome at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey on April 11, where his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, lambasted Israel as a “terrorist state.” Together with 20 other heads of state, Sharaa also heard Erdogan’s pledge “to work toward a future in which Syria experiences years of stability, prosperity, and peace” — a formula increasingly understood in Israel as code for growing Turkish domination and control over Syria, with which both Jerusalem and Ankara share a border. Erdogan’s statement came just two days after Turkish and Israeli officials met in Azerbaijan for talks aimed at establishing deconfliction mechanisms amid both countries’ ongoing military operations in Syria.

D.C. Judicial Shadow Government Suffers Setback

This “one weird trick” allowed a bunch of D.C. judges to seize power over the country.

The Supreme Court’s ruling in J.G.G. v. Donald J. Trump was not an unqualified triumph for the Trump administration’s deportations of foreign gang members, but it was a definite rebuke not just to Judge Boasberg, but to the entire D.C. Circuit Court shadow government.

Kellogg’s Partition Plan for Ukraine

Peloni:  Is there any greater statement of Western betrayal of Ukraine’s ‘sovereignty’ than for the West to contemplate with fork and knife in hand as they look to carve their own slice of Ukraine, sardonically some distance from the front lines.  Of course, despite the calls to save Ukraine’s ‘sovereignty’, the spoils of Ukraine have always played a factor in the West’s new found obsession over the borders of this Russian border state-let.

Partition Remains a Possible Option, Just Not Kellogg’s Version

Stephen Bryen | Weapons and Strategy | Apr 14, 2025

President Trump and General Keith Kellogg, special envoy on Ukraine and Russia

Is a partition plan a realistic outcome for ending the Ukraine war. General Keith Kellogg’s proposal appears to have already encountered difficulties. However, that does not mean that some type of partition is out of the question.

Nobel for Trump? If there were a prize for negotiation, the Iranians would win it

It’s a mistake to view the Iranian nuclear issue as the be-all and end-all. It is merely a symptom of the deeper illness: the existence of a radical regime that promotes terrorism across the Middle East.

by  Prof. Eyal ZisserPublished on  04-14-2025

We’ve seen this movie before — Donald Trump versus Iran — about a decade ago. Still, it’s hard to deny that the opening scene of the US president’s second term was particularly strong, raising hopes that this time, the ending would be different.

Why Oct. 7 Victims Are Suing a Palestinian Mogul, with Gary Osen

Peloni:  This is a very important lawsuit.  Gary Osen explains how a Palestinian American Citizen, otherwise recognized as being very peace-oriented, is alleged to have been completely complicit in helping to fund the terror infrastructure in and under Gaza.  Osen also addresses the reality that, though there are plenty of laws on the books in the US prohibiting support of terrorism, these laws are never enforced by the DOJ.

Why is it that the murder and torture of American citizens have not been prosecuted in the US?  Might this be due to the past Qatari influence in Washington?  Might it be due to Qatari influence in Washington today?  Indeed, why is this case, which involves the murder of American citizens being brought in a civil lawsuit rather than being addressed by the DOJ?  Are they ignoring the evidence or do they find it lacking?  Is Qatari influence relevant to the silence which is seemingly screaming from the DOJ today on this issue?  Where is AG Bondi, who was so stalwart in her pride of having been a Qatari lobbyist?

Qatar Tacitly Approves Muslim Scholars’ Call for ‘Armed Jihad’ Against Israel

Natalie Ecanow & Mariam Wahba | April 11, 2025

Image created with AI

For Israel, Qatar’s silence on a fatwa calling for “armed jihad” against the Jewish state is deafening. On April 9, Israel’s Foreign Ministry implored Doha to publicly reject the religious edict, which the Qatar-based International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) issued on March 31. The fatwa instructs Muslim governments to support Hamas “militarily, economically, and politically” and to besiege Israel by “land, air, and sea.” American Muslims, the IUMS said, should “use all available means to pressure” the Trump administration to end the war in Gaza.

Mark Levin April 13 & 14

Peloni:  In his opening remarks, Mark explains that Trump’s tariff policy is explicitly pro-growth as he is creating a global free market system which will re-industrialize America.  He also goes into the cause for the Great Depression as being the result of the Fed’s tight money policy which, while pursuing sound money, in turn led to a run on the banks due to a lack of available money.  Due to FDR’s anti-growth policies of creating cartels, historic redistribution of wealth, historic rise in peace-time taxes, centralized govt/industrial policies, the depression was extended and additional 7yrs.  Contrasting with these unsound policies, Mark explains that Trump’s policies are historic pro growth policies by cutting waste, pursuing deregulation, cutting taxes, and forcing foreign competitors to compete on a level playing field.

Canada’s New Prime Minister Is as Dishonest as the Old One

By | April 13, 2025

By Policy Exchange – Bank of England Governor Mark Carney speaks at the 2015 Policy Exchange summer party, CC BY 2.0

New in PJ Media:

After enduring ten years of the far-left misrule of the vapid and eternally callow Justin Trudeau, Canada has a new prime minister, but not any new ideas or any change of direction at the top: the new boss, Mark Carney, is the same as the old boss, a shallow leftist ideologue without an original thought in his entire sorry cerebellum, which is filled instead with the usual talking points of the leftist establishment that still wields power in much of the Western world.

Dr. David Wurmser Discusses Israeli Tariff, Iran and Turkey

Peloni:  In this 30 min video, Wurmser explores the useful aspect of the tariff being leveraged on Israel, warning signs which the US should have (and didn’t) address in its meeting with Iran, and the strengthening threat from Turkey.  This interview preceded Saturday’s meeting between the US and Iran, just FYI.

‘This is Just a Beginning’: United States and Iran Begin Nuclear Talks in Oman

FDD | April 12, 2025

Latest Developments

  • Discussions Begin: Indirect talks between the United States and Iran over the future of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program began on April 12 in Oman. The Iranian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, negotiated with representatives from the United States administration headed by White House envoy Steve Witkoff, with both parties remaining in separate rooms for approximately two hours. However, Araghchi and Witkoff reportedly met face-to-face as they exited the meeting venue — marking the first direct contact between U.S. and Iranian officials since the start of President Trump’s term. Further talks are scheduled for next week, with Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei later stating that “this is just a beginning.”
