Biden-Harris Admin Defends UNRWA, Blasts Israel

This is just the beginning.

by

The 2024 election may be in the foreground, but in the background, the Biden-Harris administration is moving its ‘Revenge’ plan for Israel forward.

Like its Obama predecessor, becoming a lame-duck administration frees Biden-Harris personnel to live out their dreams of going after Israel in the remaining months. Even assuming Kamala takes power, there will be a shift of personnel. And if she doesn’t succeed in seizing power, the frenzy to do as much damage before a new administration begins reversing its anti-Israel policies will be that much more urgent.

40 US soldiers who were in Israel on Oct. 7 narrowly escaped capture by Hamas

By

Send them a few hundred million more, Joe! That will solve everything!

“EXCLUSIVE: US Soldiers Trapped in Israel on Oct 7 Narrowly Escaped Being Taken Captive by Hamas,” by Jennifer Van Laar, RedState, October 8, 2024:

Forty U.S. Army soldiers who were in Israel as the advance team for what they thought was a routine training exercise last October 7 suddenly found themselves in the middle of a war, unarmed, and being forced to beg reluctant Pentagon officials to send an Air Force plane to extract them.

China moderates its commentary on Israel

Peloni:  Nothing sells like success, and it would appear that China is possibly anticipating an Israeli victory as it now specifically addresses Israel’s security concerns while foregoing its previous condemnations of the Jewish State.

Meet Kamala’s Palestinian Best Friend Who Changed Her Mind on Israel

Is a longtime Kamala friend part of a Hamas family?

by Daniel Greenfield | October 10, 2024

“I say this as someone who’s known her since 1997: She’s trying,” Hala Hijazi assured a panel at an anti-Israel DNC event that once she was president, Kamala would crack down on Israel.

Hijazi, a Jordanian immigrant who has roots in Gaza, is close to Kamala and they both came up through the ranks together. The Muslim official and fundraiser had worked as a special assistant to former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown whom she described as a “mentor”.

Kamala, Zelensky, Russia and NATO

Peloni:  It must be recalled that Europe, not America, will feel the greater effects of the NATO overreach in Ukraine.  The faux threat from Russia on the eve of the Ukraine war was always avoidable, even after the war began, yet the very real slaughter which came as a result of NATO pursuing its bad faith negotiations crafted in the guise of the Minsk Accords will have longstanding implications for the NATO members, with its American member now being even less charmed with its oversized role in the alliance and thus likely leaving its European members with a very real potential of facing any real threat in the future on their own.

No negotiations, no peace, but what about NATO?

Kamala Harris

Presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris says she will not talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin without Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

Ukraine’s war, which is NATO’s war, is going badly. NATO’s future is in doubt.

Israel in Danger: Enemies Foreign and Domestic

by Guy Millière  • Gatestone • October 10, 2024

TNetanyahu meets with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris on July 25, 2024 in Washington, DC. (Photo by Kenny Holston-Pool/Getty Images)

  • “[Hamas leader Yahya] Sinwar wants everyone to be a martyr—except for him.” Now he appears to want to have discussions again on the condition that the Israelis will not try to kill him during the negotiations on a deal. — David Greenfield, CEO and executive director of Met Council, August 28, 2024.
  • When Israelis clamor for the release of their hostages, they are, unfortunately, just letting Hamas know what a valuable bargaining chip it has – so the price goes up. For Hamas, if the families of the hostages succeed in getting Netanyahu pushed out of office, so much the better: he will likely be replaced by a “peace” coalition who will grant massive concessions to Hamas and allow it to stay in power.

War with Iran is Imminent – October 10 IDSF Daily Briefing

T. Belman. Amir says that Israel’s goal is to destroy Hezbollah rather than the limited goal of returning Israelis to their homes. This is similar to our goal of destroying Hamas in Gaza.

He also said that we are now readying for war with Iran. He said we are in a race for time to destroy the nuclear facilities. But he didn’t say that we are going to bomb them. Instead he mentioned Regme change.

‘We have to attack Iran,’ says Israeli economy minister • FRANCE 24 English

T. Belman. I hated the interviewer but loved Barkat’s clarity.  He said that our goal is to dismantal and get rid of Hezbollah just as our goal is to dismantal and get rid of Hamas.

He said he differed with Smotrich who wanted to keep Gaza. Birkat said he wanted another Dubai in Gaza living in peace with Israel. In this, I’m with Smotrich.

Qa’ani suffers heart attack while being interrogated for collaborating with Israel?

Peloni:  This story has now come full circle, from Qa’ani being with Nasrallah’s replacement when they were bombed by Israel, to him being alive and reported to soon be receiving an honorary award from Khomeni at some point in the future, and now that he is under house arrest and suffering a heart attack while being questioned about collaboration with Israel.

7 October – What it means for Israel

Barry Shaw | The View from Israel |  October 8, 2024

Last year, on the night of 6th October 2023 people paused their routines lives to sleep before heading into an annual period of intense Jewish reflection or secular laziness.

The secular young headed south to a midnight rave called the Nova Dance Festival.

And then a Palestinian hell descended upon Israel in its overwhelmingly torturing, raping, murderous, captive-taking, form.

In Israel, after a year of deep division, the dividing walls collapsed in shock, horror, disbelief and tears.

From the unheeded warning to the vision of peace: “This will be the decisive year”

“When we saw a swarm of rockets, we understood this was the beginning”

The founder of the IDSF movement, Amir Avivi, had predicted the impending war in 2022. Now, a year in, he already has an eye on the future and speaks about how victory will look, about the hostages in Gaza, about a solution to the polarization of society, and about Israel after the war. “I’m optimistic. We have wonderful days ahead.” A special interview.

Brigadier General (res.) Amir Avivi |  October 9, 2024

A year and a half before October 7, officers of the IDSF movement sat in the living room of Amir Avivi, the movement’s founder and CEO. They understood that something was afoot and that they must warn the security services about what was liable to happen. At the meeting, they discussed a “strategic, tectonic, global, and regional change” that we were experiencing and that would lead, in their view, to immense escalation. “When we connected the dots, we understood that we were heading for war,” Avivi recalls.

Hezbollah Calls For Ceasefire; Israel DESTROYS Hezbollah Cross-Border Tunnel | TBN Israel

Peloni:  Note that the resistance facing Israeli troops is being reported as being lighter than expected in Lebanon.  Also, in an interview earlier in the day, Gen. Avivi estimates that Hezbollah has only 20% of their missiles left.  On the heels of this, Hezbollah is calling for a ceasefire.  It is time for Lebanon to rise up and retake their nation as Bibi stated.

The IDF advocate general is protecting ‘civilians’ who participated in the Oct. 7 massacre

In this clash between politicians and jurists, between woke moralism and real morality, lies a question with global historical implications.

Gadi Taub | October 10, 2024

Shiri Bibas and her sons Ariel, 4, and baby, Kfir, were abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz in southern Israel by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7, 2023.

Of all the images of Israelis being taken hostage on Oct. 7, 2023, the most heartbreaking is that of Shiri Bibas holding her two red-headed toddlers, her face contorted in horror, as if the camera had frozen the very instant when she realized that there is no human feeling in her barbaric captors to appeal to.

Poilievre: The Jewish people will triumph.

Peloni:  A remarkably inspiring speech exhibiting the wit, charm, friendship, and values of the True North, Strong and Free.  In fact, it has been too long since Canada was represented by leadership which exhibited these traits.  Consequently, it will be an important moment to see Canada represented once more by a man bearing such qualities when Poilievre retakes the Premiership and rescues the Canadian people from the unyoked tyranny which has been too long in power.

Can Israel destroy Iran’s Nuclear Program? – October 9 IDSF Daily Briefing

T. Belman: According to this briefing, If Israel attacks Iran’s nuclear facilities, there is a chance i will set off a nuclear explosion. As a result of this opinion and others that say the same thing, I am no longer advocating that Israel should attack these facilities.

Instead Israel should go for regime change. That means she should go after the Mullahs and the IRGC and the oil fields.

When the regime falls, the nuclear facilities can be safely dismantled.

US Senators Brief Media about their Meeting with Israeli PM Netanyahu

T. Belman. Little do they know that what they hope for is already underway. Mudar Zahran will shortly the be President of the Republic of Jordan (perhaps to be renamed Palestine). As such he will be the leader of a nation of 8 million Palestinians. MBS has already indicated that he will work closely with Mudar Zahar and will see Jordan as the Palestinian State. In addition, MBS has agreed to create a ME-NATO which includes Israel. There goal is to include Syria and Lebanon. This is all set out in,

The US wants Israel dead, or at least a puppet,  and why the Jordan Option will ensure Israel’s Salvation

The are also wrong about Iran. Israel must destroy her nuclear capability and liberate the Iranians who are held hostage. The regime must fall. Israel will, in my opinion, attack Iran’s nuclear facilities and do what damage to them that she can. I am sure when Trump is inaugurated one of the first things he will do, will be to give bunker buster bombs to Israel to enable her to finish the job.

And they are wrong about MBZ. He is part of the problem and not the solution.

Finally, Hezbollah must be expelled from Lebanon. They cannot be permitted to remain there just as Iran will be expelled from Syria.

I have written to Omri Ceren who is a friend of mine and currently an advisor to Sen Cruz to share this information with him and Sen Graham.

The Western Powers Are Marching to the Houthis’ Tune

T. Belman. I think he is wrong to suggest that the US is constrained by legal technicalities.  By not interfering they are adding to the pressure on Israel to end the war in Gaza. They do so even at great expense to the world for the cost of shipping abound Africa.

God forbid they upset Iran.

By October 9, 2024

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 2, 308, October 9, 2024

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: It appears that the Western powers do not intend to exceed the parameters they have set for themselves in terms of military activity against Houthi rebel strongholds. Alarmingly, the West would prefer to be enslaved to the formula according to which only treatment of root causes – i.e, the cessation of the war in Gaza – will result in the cessation of the Houthis’ violent disruption of security in international shipping lanes. This serves the interests of the Houthis’ state sponsor and terrorist enabler, Iran, and ensures the continuation of the Houthi threat to international shipping and to Israel.

From failure to triumph, Bibi’s Ben Gurion moment is a testament to Jewish resilience and determination.

By Malcolm Dash

The challenges Israel is currently grappling with are no less significant, and possibly even more daunting, than those faced by the nascent state of Israel in 1948. The nation clearly understands the existential peril that Israel faces. And Prime Minister Netanyahu’s keen understanding of the nation’s readiness to make sacrifices is aiding him in effectively addressing the country’s grave crises.

At long last, the Prime Minister has assumed control over the strategic objectives of the war. The plans he unveiled involve taking decisive action to eliminate Hamas’s hold on power, both militarily and politically. To destroy Hezbollah’s leadership, disarm them and remove them from southern Lebanon. And most crucially, to incapacitate Iran, the central figure behind multiple terrorist proxies, eradicating it as a source of existential danger to the Jewish state. Netanyahu has repeatedly stressed the gravity of the nuclear threat from Iran. The current public sentiment in Israel heavily leans towards endorsing a military operation against Iran’s nuclear installations.

The White House’s Latest Military Aid Deal

Peloni:  The intent of US aid in the current context is to manipulate Israel into maintaining the defense of its borders as missiles rain down on them rather than eliminating the threat which exists on the other side of those borders.  Israel must continue to ignore this imposed limitation on their sovereignty and defend itself with offensive means as it has been doing over the past year.  Of course, this war could be resolved in a much shorter time frame and with far fewer casualties on all sides if the US acted as Israel’s ally rather than that of Iran’s, but for this we will have to await the return of good governance in the US with a favorable outcome in the US next month.

The latest military aid deal from the Biden-Harris Administration to Israel.

Fine statements were made by the UN Administration over the recently announced $5.2B military aid package to Israel.

Although announced as an increase to the previous $3.3B package, this new package is strongly restricted to defensive items such as missile defense, not affirmative weaponry.
