When President Trump a half-decade ago tasked his son-in-law to design a two-state solution that would be the “Deal of the Century,” since I knew nothing of Jared Kushner, I wanted to know of his experience of Israel, the Arab world and Islam, academic, practical.
The Iranian regime wants to return to the trajectory that existed on the eve of October 7, a course designed to advance its plan to bring about Israel’s collapse. Even if the stars have not yet aligned for a decisive blow, Donald Trump wants to strike Iran and, if possible, also rid the world of the regime that rules it. In the meantime, fingers should be crossed for the protesters, and preparations made for what lies ahead.

On July 14, 1789, the day the storming of the Bastille marked the beginning of the French Revolution, King Louis XVI summed up the day’s events in his diary with two words: “Nothing.” He meant that the hunting expedition he had gone on had been unsuccessful. He did not know that within a few short years he would lose his throne, and his head.
Peloni: Just a few hours after this article was posted, news arrived that Ran Gvili’s body has been retrieved by the IDF and is being returned to his family. The first of three war aims have thus been met, with two more to go.

Here we are, post-Davos. Trump has announced the beginning of the second phase of his peace plan.
Peloni: The threat from the Eastern border with Jordan continues to represent a growing concern. It is ironic that the reason why Israel has tolerated the Hashemites for so long despite their routine calls for violence against Israel is due to their keeping the Eastern border secure. With rising threats and attacks coming from that border, Israel is constructing a new wall to replace the once claimed security presented by the Hashemites and is now reactivating the old outpost system in anticipation of further need of support than just a physical wall, demonstrating the failing relevance for the Hashemites even among its strongest supporters. It is time to push Jordan to accept its role as the state carved from the eastern portion of the Palestine mandate, to accept that it is the state provided to the Arabs of Mandatory Palestine, and to be recognized as the solution to the Two State Solutioneers who are so desperate to support the Muslim Palestinians that they are willing to carve Israel in two while ignoring the state created from what was Eastern Mandatory Palestine, ie Jordan. History speaks clearly of the fact that Jordan is Palestine, that the fantasy of the Two State Solution paradigm was always maliciously constructed to ignore this, and we can no longer claim any rationale in ignoring these facts.

Peloni: Anarchy is the tool of the anti Western mindset which is intent upon bringing the West down. Those who celebrate and defend those sentiments are either maliciously motivateed or are filling a void created by some other form of malady which fills their lives. Either way, they are a threat to society, and they should be isolated from society so as to prevent tragedies such as the one which befell Renee Good in acting out her passionately illegal attempt to strike out against civilizational order. The West is under attack, and the focus should be placed upon stabilizing society, not celebrating those who are trying to bring it down.
The Renée Goods of the world need a reality check.

Here’s a challenge. Ask your neighbor, ask your best friend, ask the guy standing next to you at the deli counter, ask as many relatives as possible, ask any real estate agent in the world this question: What is the number-one thing all people in the world do when they decide to move into an apartment or condo or co-op or house?
Peloni: What possible benefit might be gained by outsourcing Jewish control over Jewish destiny. The raison d’tre of the Zionist movement and the Jewish state has been to empower the Jewish people with both the ability and obligation to seek out their own fate, to protect their own without the need of cowering beneath the overlordship of foreign powers and foreign leaderships. Ahead of tonight’s Cabinet meeting, the Co-Chairs of the Sovereignty Movement wish to warn of the emerging political trends in the international arena, which may return the State of Israel to the days of the Mandate and severely undermine its sovereignty.

On January 20, 2026, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney gave a much-praised speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He began by mentioning his “values, like respect for human rights, sustainable development, solidarity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.”
I have no problem with “respect for human rights and sustainable development.” I am not sure about “solidarity.” Here is my initial comment about the latter two “values”:
Let’s not allow agenda-driven political theology to divide us.

Kudos to Mike Huckabee, U.S. ambassador to Israel: a genuine man of faith, an authentic patriot, a true friend of Israel—and a mensch to boot.

At a time when America, regardless of the perceived validity of its actions for security or whatever, is using all sorts of pressure tactics to acquire territory it has absolutely no ancestral or historical connections to in Greenland; and having also done likewise in faraway places earlier in locations such as Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Samoa. Guam, and other lands as well, it seems a bit unreal that some of our leaders (and hypocrites elsewhere as well) “take offense” at the idea that Jews, with about four thousand years of highly corroborated evidence of ancestral connections to the land of Israel, Judaea, and Samaria state the obvious: that they are indeed entitled to sovereignty in at least some of the lands where their ancestors lived, prophesied, ruled, and fought one imperial invader after another for their freedom and independence.

I began publishing a series of humanitarian hoax articles in July 2017, each article beginning with the same dire warning paragraph:
The humanitarian hoax is the deliberate and deceitful tactic of presenting a destructive policy as altruistic. The humanitarian huckster presents himself as a compassionate advocate when in fact he is the disguised enemy.
I identified former president Barack Hussein Obama as the huckster-in-chief and by October 2019, after reaching 50 hoaxes, decided to publish the collection as a book. The Book of Humanitarian Hoaxes: Killing America with ‘Kindness’ was released in June 2020.
Peloni: The overlap between Left and Right is centered around the weaponization and promotion of Jew Hatred. To this end they each enact alliances with the Islamists, alliances which we must identify and confront regardless of the political affiliations. Notably, in the globalization of the war on the Jews which erupted alongside the October 7 Massacre, the dominance of attacks against the world’s Jewry has been sourced to the far-Left and their Islamist allies, but there is no reason to think that the far Right will not come to play a role in this latest war against the Jews, as appears to be evident in the attack on the historic Synagogue in Mississippi.

Soon after last week’s attack on a synagogue in Mississippi, Prof. Deborah Lipstadt, the former U.S. envoy for combating antisemitism, suggested there might be a link between the arson and the “Globalize the Intifada” campaign mounted by Hamas supporters around the world.
Peloni: Consider the reality that, as you listen to Hillel Neuer’s polemic against the silence supporting the Mullahs in Iran that the death tolls are rising with current reports of upto 20-40,000 dead Iranian protestors now being shared outside the deafening silence from the media, from the celebrities, and from the ‘peace’ activists.

Peloni: Mansour Abbas has sold himself as being a role model for the Arab community in Israel over the years, and yet a fair reading of many of his comments as well as the charter of his Ra’am party certainly provides a distinctly less favorable perspective on this Israeli Muslim Brotherhood affiliate. There is an important context which must be grasped when dealing with the Arab community. History of the region lacks any form of agreement between the Arabs and their Jewish neighbors, leaving the understanding of a just outcome as being highly divergent between the two groups due to this fact. Consequently, as Abbas’ Raam party and Abbas in particular have been granted an aura of ‘moderation’ as he speaks about peace and moderation in connection with his Arab neighbors, but the reality is that these words have a fundamentally different context for Abbas and his party than what these terms really mean.
Perhaps someday, the Arabs may come to have an honest appreciation of what the history of the region really is, but until such an honest awakening takes root, people such as Abbas will use their endorsement of peace with the Jews to pursue ulterior objectives which are altogether misrepresented when publicly endorsing terms of moderation. As elections are coming, and Abbas is currently calling for Jews to join his party(!), we must all be aware of the reality of what both Abbas and his party honestly represent and the moderation they portend for the Jews in the Jewish state. Importantly, as Abbas once came to play the ‘moderate’ Arab kingmaker in forming the Bennett-Lapid led govt, he hopes to play a similar role in the coming months. Perhaps this will be less possible with a fair understanding of the ‘moderation’ which Abbas has in mind as many on the Left like to describes himself to be.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent fatally shot an armed man in Minneapolis on Saturday who the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said looked like was about to “massacre law enforcement.”
Peloni: It is hard to hear the reports coming out of Iran, and indeed the videos which are emerging raise recollections of the scenes of animalistic butchery which took place on October 7. Like Arlene, I am still convinced that the promised support for the Iranians is coming. To think anything else honestly strikes me as being unthinkable. When it does come, whatever form it takes, Trump’s response must be robust, and encompassing. The butcher’s bill paid by the many thousands and tens of thousands of Iranian victims who answered Trump’s call to protest deserves nothing less.

Before I address the imperative that is at the heart of this posting, I want to back up and provide a bit of the analysis I had been promising while I focused on Gaza.
Peloni: Israel alone has any true interest in the establishing peace in Gaza, yet Israel has seemingly no role in what is coming, as the Trump 20 Point Plan is morphing into another Two State Solution while ignoring every benchmark required in Trump’s Plan. As if the only thing that mattered was that something, no matter how removed from the original deal, flawed as it was, might be said to have been put into practice. Israel needs to retake Gaza and Gaza needs to establish free emigration for its inhabitants elsewhere, preferably to Jordan and Egypt.

Carney has always been the plaything of the Chinese, meaning that he was always going to support them against Trump. What a pity that Trump did not put his full support behind Poilievre in the last Canadian election rather than emphasizing his desire to annex Canada as the 51st state… Curiously, the question arises as to whether this is where we are heading once again now that Trump has secured his needs in Greenland… Was his describing Carney as Gov. Carney more than a slipup in the tweet at the bottom?
