Israel, Free World, in Increasing Danger Thanks to U.S. ‘Help’

  • Hamas not only uses its civilians as human shields, but may be the first government in history that wants to see its own people killed in order to blame another country, Israel, for their deaths. Meanwhile, Israel goes out of its way – seriously risking the lives of its soldiers – not to commit any crimes against humanity or indiscriminately bomb, as Russia does in Ukraine.
  • “Israel implemented more measures to prevent civilian casualties than any nation in history,” wrote John Spencer, chair of urban warfare studies at the Modern War Institute at West Point.

ISRAEL TRIP (Part 2). Identity, worldview, the civilian, and the soldier

An MOR series: My trip to Israel during the Hamas-Israel War

By Fransisco Gil-White, MANAGEMENT OF REALITY    15 June 2024

“When he died, he died on the [Gaza] border, protecting the civilians behind him (…) In Jewish belief, when you die for your country, for your nation, this is the best death. I think the best way is to go on with living and making good things for others. But we have to fight in Israel for our existence, for our survival. And it’s very difficult, in a personal way. No matter what they say about how important it [my son’s sacrifice] was, the personal grief is very, very deep.”
Yaron Shor, father of an Israeli soldier fallen in Gaza.

PM Netanyahu: ‘There is no alternative to victory – we must keep at our goals’

‘We are fighting to ensure our existence and our future; we are fighting to bring back our hostages,’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says.

  Jun 15, 2024, 9:53 PM

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday responded to the deaths of eight IDF soldiers in Rafah.

“Today we paid another heartbreaking price for our just war to protect our homeland,” Netanyahu began. “With deep sorrow and heavy mourning, I bow my head together with all of Israel’s citizens, and mourn the fall of our eight heroic soldiers: The deputy company commander of an engineering battalion, Captain Wassem Mahmoud, and other heroic soldiers whose names are not yet cleared for publication.

October 6th: Unit 8200’s error that could have prevented the massacre

A senior IDF intelligence official confirms that the elite SIGINT unit experienced a system malfunction that was fixed early in the morning – but not before Hamas had begun their invasion.

The Farhoud Pogrom remembered – June 1-2, 1941

Peloni:  I am struck by the glaring hypocrisy surrounding the claim that the Pals of Gaza can not be forced from their homes based upon the principles surrounding the foundation of the United Nations after WWII, all the while ignoring the massive suffering and economic theft which took placed all across Arabia during the time of the founding of that same United Nations.  The simple reality is that the Pals are trapped in their current environment specifically because of the threat which they pose to the Jewish State.  Indeed, this was why the UN created UNRWA, simply so that they could weaponize the Pals as a tool of manipulation and destruction against Israel.

Ron Jager | June 4, 2024

A vast Jewish Diaspora underwent a process of communal annihilation prior to Israel’s establishment and continued during Israel’s formative years, yet we Israelis rarely talk about or commemorate these historic events. On the eve of the establishment of the State of Israel, at least 800,000 Jews lived in Arab countries. Today, those ancient Jewish Diaspora numbers only a few thousand at best. These numbers alone should give us pause: Emigration of more than 99 percent of the Jewish population in such a short time is unparalleled in modern Jewish history. Even the Jewish communities of Europe, which experienced the most extreme suffering of anti-Semitic violence, did not vanish entirely, or so abruptly. The story of the Jews from Arab lands is a saga that extends over hundreds of years and over a vast geographic region.

Peter Navarro reports on government waste and abuse from within a federal prison

By Andrea Widburg

The Daily Caller was able to interview Peter Navarro, one of the first people in the Trump circle that the Democrats were able to imprison. Navarro is in prison because, like Steve Bannon (also going to prison), Hunter Biden (not going to prison), and Merrick Garland (not going to prison), he refused to abide by a congressional subpoena. However, the feds may rue the day they thought it was a good idea to lock him up because Navarro has now seen and is working to expose the government’s cruel and expensive prison mismanagement.

I urge you to read the whole interview (it’s not too long) because Navarro describes

Finally, a Curbing of Jacobson

Peloni:  Jeffrey Tucker and Leslie Manookian discuss the basis for and consequences related to the recent ruling which held that mandated enforcement as interpreted by the 1906 Jacobson ruling can not be applied to the so-called Covid shots precisely because they  are not sterilizing and therefore not protective.  They also discuss, among many other topics, the fact that this is the first time that a strict basis of interpretation was applied to the Jacobson ruling rather than the far less stringent rational basis.

The Health Freedom Defense Fund has once again come to the aid of rights and won a hugely important case in Los Angeles and for the entire country. A court decision has declared that prior Supreme Court rulings for vaccine mandates are inapplicable to the Covid shot for simple reasons: it is not truly sterilizing and therefore not protective of public health. It is first court decision to narrow Jacobson on record, and the implications for health freedom are profound. Leslie Manookian explains the case, the decision, and the implications. She is interviewed by Jeffrey Tucker.

The Potential Upside of Gantz’s Exit from the War Cabinet

Peloni:  The move by the US to have Gantz, their man in Jerusalem, resign from the govt is specifically intended to drive a renewed effort foment constant protests in the streets against the Bibi govt.  To be certain, the support for such a public revolt is clearly lacking, but the reality is that Washington in intent on removing the greatest obstacle at this moment to their plans for Iranian domination in the region…and that obstacle remains to be Bibi Netanyahu.

Hamas Demands US Guarantee In Writing a Permanent Ceasefire and a Total Israeli Withdrawal from Gaza

Hugh Fitzgerald | June 15, 2024

Hamas is on the ropes. At least 15,000 of its operatives have been killed by the IDF. After being pummeled in the north and in the center of Gaza, it is now under assault by the IDF in Rafah, in the southernmost part of the Strip. The IDF fighters have fought their way into the center of Rafah, determined to dismantle the last four intact battalions of the terror group. The IDF will not stop until that has been accomplished, and until the rest of the hostages, the ones whom Hamas has not yet murdered, are brought home.

The charge of Israeli cynicism is false

Israel was sick and tired of having thousands of missiles launched at it by Hamas, by its suicide bombers attacking them in restaurants and schools, from being picked off in twos and threes by these terrorist group members as they shot at Jews hither and thither.

By Walter E. Block   April  18/24

The charge of extreme Israeli cynicism is forcefully made by world-class economist and historian Tom DiLorenzo, president of the Mises Institute, a think tank devoted to Austrian economics and libertarianism:

“Today we are supposed to believe that Israel’s vaunted Mossad, assisted by the CIA and the massive American ‘intelligence community,’ the Pentagon, and the entire might of the US military-industrial complex, was totally surprised by Palestinians on motor bikes and on foot who easily and conveniently broke through the ‘impregnable’ barriers into Israel. According to news reports, it was as easy as with the January 6, 2021 protesters who, after being invited in by the police, entered the US Capitol building. The motor bike riding Palestinians did some barbaric and reprehensible things, randomly shooting and killing hundreds of innocent Israeli citizens (although there is now evidence that many of the Israeli victims were victims of “friendly fire” by their own military). As the entire world now knows, the government of Israel, like Lincoln, used this event as a reason to wage total war on all Palestinians in Gaza, women and children included.”

Irrationally anti-Israel

How is a rational person to deal with someone under the influence of Israel Derangement Syndrome? One possibility: Don’t waste your time with such a person.

By  Alan G. Futerman and Walter E. Block

There is a new virus that has been spreading all over the world. It is called Israel Derangement Syndrome. It is especially virulent at prestigious university campuses, newsrooms and left-wing political parties the world over. It consists of simply being unable to see any merit in the Israeli side in its present battle with Hamas, and also, to see any fault with the latter group of terrorists. As early as October 8, 2023, one day after one of the worst, most vicious attacks on civilians in all of history, those afflicted with IDS were blaming the victims.

How The Hostages Were Mistreated: The Latest Testimonies

Hugh Fitzgerald | June 14, 2024

We know that the number of Israeli hostages who are still alive in Hamas’ captivity keeps declining, for they are steadily being murdered, one by one, by their Hamas captives. Israel now believes that of the 136 Israelis who remained as captives after the hostage-for-prisoner swap in November, and the rescue of three hostages before this latest raid, no more than 80 are still alive. Hamas, of course, continues to claim that any captives who are now dead were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes, as a way to avoid blame and to make the Israeli pilots become ever more cautious in their attacks on Hamas targets.

Is Israeli-Saudi normalization end or means?

Peloni:  Abdul-Hussain is quite correct that SA should have made a direct, unconditional alliance with Israel, that is presuming that they are earnestly interested in assuming a public face of their already known posture regarding Israel. There should be no prize-price awarded to SA for acceding to peace with Israel, and there should be no consideration of gifting the American administration the award of a Pal state, which would be more than an existential threat.  Indeed, the Americans have no interest in peace, but rather they are trying to remold the old Oslo two-step, where Arabs are awarded prizes and the Israelis are required to make concessions.   Such devious duplicity has no path to success in the current political environment.  So while Riyadh has its sights set on a nuclear reactor, and the US has its sights set on a Pal state, the Saudis should act bilaterally with Israel and the Americans should be left out in the cold.

Biden is delaying Saudi normalization with Israel until the region is fixed, mistakenly making peace the end game

Hussain Abdul-Hussain | FDD | June 14, 2024

The path to a peace treaty between Israel and Saudi Arabia is fraught with prerequisites unrelated to Israel or peace.

USA imposes sanctions on anti-aid protest organization

Peloni:  It is with the greatest disgust that America has taken on the role of subsidizing terrorist while sanctioning those who oppose them doing so.  This being stated, this should surprise no one as the current regime continues its realignment with Iran.

The US State Department imposed sanctions today on the Tzav 9 protest organization, whose activists have been blocking aid trucks from Jordan to the Gaza Strip.

Jeffery Sachs critiques US policy in Ukraine and in Israel

Throughout their whole discussion neither referenced Oct 7th nor questioned whether a TSS would bring peace. The latter was a given.

By Ted Belman

The first 23 minutes of this interview was spent on Sach’s criticism of US policy regarding the Ukraine War and then the Judge segued to Israel and Gaza enabling Sach’s to continue his criticism of the Biden team and its policies.

I was familiar with his stand on Ukraine because it mirrored mine.  I had watched a number of his videos on the subject and was familiar with his criticism.

In this video he shows his disgust with US policy because “there  was no active diplomacy”.  In its place, the US was “acting recklessly and dangerously”.  “They lie on everything” he said.

There are no civilians in Gaza

In a culture where terrorists in the field don’t wear uniforms, where large families have sizable stocks of weapons, and where children are taught to kill and die, the externals don’t matter.

Daniel Greenfield | June 14, 2024

Palestinians line up in the Gaza Strip to receive drinkable water numbers while battles take place between Israel and Hamas in the southern city of Rafah on May 20, 2024. Photo by Abed Rahim Khatib/Flash90.

Americans expected Osama bin Laden to be found in a cave in Afghanistan. In reality, he was living comfortably in a military town in Pakistan under the protection of local authorities. Similarly, Israeli hostages, including the four who were rescued last Saturday, have come home telling stories of being kept captive in “civilian” households.

Many in the West fundamentally misunderstand what Islamic terrorism is. It’s not a “fringe group of extremists,” as politicians and the media describe it, but an ethnic and religious movement. The religious values of Islamic terrorists are universally shared by the vast majority of Muslims, while the ethnic ones ground Islamic warfare in the interests of specific clans and families.

House Republicans Furious with Way Speaker Johnson Distributes Tenured Perks

E. Rowell:  Sunlight is the best disinfectant.  It’s important for everyone to know the reality of the Republican Conference, that most of them have no incentive to care about Americans and are incentivized to care very much about pleasing their billionaire donors.  They are “team players” and feel very entitled to get all the goodies (more money more power) for being team players.  They are thus now shocked and angered about suddenly finding themselves on the losing end of the political game they’ve been successfully playing.  Perhaps also they are just beginning to realize Americans know they’ve been traitors.

By Sundance, CONSERVATIVE TREEHOUSE BLOG    14 June 2024

When I said in 2020 that House Republican representatives were generally focused on who gets the larger pieces of the cake during the office birthday party, many people just couldn’t fathom it.

With all the crisis, corruption, manipulation of government institutions, DOJ/FBI targeting and jaw-dropping weaponization that was stunningly evident, a large number of readers could not bring themselves to realize almost all House Republicans just didn’t care.  Fortunately, a lot more awakening has happened in the past four years, and I think people are now more willing to accept the reality of just how bad it is in Republican ranks.

Biden Regime Offers $400,000,000 More to Jihad Terrorists in Israel

E. Rowell:  The masks have come off.  The Israel haters are openly paying terrorists to destroy innocent civilians in Israel.  There should be a special place in hell reserved for those who use all their power to destroy human beings.

The only thing protecting Hamas is the Biden administration.

By Daniel Greenfield, JIHAD WATCH    13 June 2024

In a poll from last year, the Muslim occupiers in West Bank and Gaza gave Hamas a 76% rating. Islamic Jihad was at 84%. The UN was at only 9%. And America was at 0%.

Maybe the latest $400 million check will turn things around.
