On July 2014 the late Charles Krauthammer penned an article titled “Moral Clarity in Gaza.” He noted that “Hamas has only one grievance: Israel’s very existence.”

“Some geopolitical conflicts are morally complicated. The Israel-Gaza war is not. It possesses a moral clarity not only rare but excruciating.

“Israel is so scrupulous about civilian life that, risking the element of surprise, it contacts enemy noncombatants in advance to warn them of approaching danger. Latest Developments

Israeli media reported on September 18 that the week-long ceasefire in November — which saw Hamas release 81 Israeli hostages — collapsed after the terrorist group relayed false information about the captives it was due to release on the eighth day of the deal. Hamas was reportedly supposed to free 10 living hostages on that day but instead offered to return three living hostages and seven bodies. Among the purported dead were female hostages that Israel “knew for certain” were alive, indicating that Hamas would execute the women if Israel agreed to the terror group’s updated terms.

The exploding pagers that reportedly wounded thousands of Hezbollah terrorists came within 3 days of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist group’s attack on an American embassy.

On September 20, 1984, a Hezbollah terrorist drove a Chevy station wagon fitted with diplomatic plates and Soviet rockets at the US embassy in Beirut and detonated it, wounding the US ambassador and killing two Americans, Chief Warrant Officer Kenneth V. Welch and Petty Officer First Class Michael Ray Wagner, while wounding five other Americans.

Many Jews visited the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah last weekend, mainly because of the summit between US President Joe Biden and the kingdom’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Behind the scenes, there was also an American-Israeli rabbi who made kiddush for the participants, mainly journalists and advisers of government officials who spent Shabbat in Saudi Arabia.

Rigging thousands of pagers worn and used by Hezbollah terrorists and operatives in Lebanon, Syria, and other northern locations surrounding Israel to explode simultaneously, signifies even now only a sliver of insight into Israel’s offensive capabilities. With over 4000 terrorists injured simultaneously, many critically, the devastating psychological effect of the cyber-attack attributed to Israel on Hezbollah is only a pre-emptive stage in the expected war on the murderous terror organization in Lebanon. With the threat from Hamas largely destroyed and mopping up operations being executed by a relatively small IDF force in the Gaza Strip, the focus of Israel has shifted to the north. Hezbollah, the terror organization, and the Republic of Iran, a terror state have been put on notice.

The members of the Palestinian Authority’s soccer team, currently training in Malaysia, recently posed for a team photo. It is a classic case of a picture being worth a thousand words—if not more.

Normal athletes all over the world pose for team photos in their uniforms, as keepsakes for themselves as well as for their fans. But the society that the P.A. has shaped is anything but normal.

The concept of commonality of values has always been a steadfast principle in Canada’s relationships with its friends and allies.

Such commonality of values was perhaps voiced most clearly in an address by former prime minister Stephen Harper to Israel’s parliament – the Knesset – some years ago, in which he listed the historic and long-standing values shared by Canada and Israel. He ended his historic address by reiterating the vital message to Israel: “Canada will always have Israel’s back.”

Israel did not take responsibility for the pager attack that crippled Hezbollah’s comms and took out a chunk of their officer corps. It certainly did not go ahead and describe how it was done for the media. That’s tradecraft. And you don’t reveal it.

But the New York Times had a report detailing how it happened that same evening. I won’t link to it as it carries the byline of fake news fabulist Sheera Frenkel who had previously carried water for Hamas and lied that the Islamic terror group had not kidnapped and killed three Israeli teens.
