Biden: Israeli operation in Rafah would be a red line

Peloni: Here is the full quote from Biden regarding the supply of arms to Israel:

“I’m never going to leave Israel. The defense of Israel is still critical. So there’s no red line I’m gonna cut off all weapons so they don’t have the Iron Dome to protect them.”

Is this a threat to cut all weapons except Iron Dome?

US President tells MSNBC that Netanyahu “must, must, must” pay more attention to preventing civilian casualties in Gaza. “He hurts Israel more than he protects her. This is a mistake.”

Is Our Political System Selling Us Out? | Douglas Murray on Why the West Won’t Fight for Itself [P1]

Peloni:  Another highly recommended video.  Murray and Levy hold a very important conversion which covers many topics, including the manner in which political violence in the West is being met with acceptance and capitulation rather than with outrage and opposition.  Other topics discussed range from s, to the role being played by anti-Zionist Jew and Muslim antisemitism in the West, the tenuous nature of Western rights, and the possibility that the Western populations would not respond to a foreign attack or invasion.

Douglas Murray & Eylon Levy | State of a Nation with Eylon Levy | March 6, 2024

With a sharp tongue, sharper wit, and encyclopedic knowledge of history, Douglas Murray seems to relish in dismantling the politically correct hypocrisies of our era. Bestselling author, journalist and public intellectual, Douglas Murray is the West’s the most insightful critic, and its fiercest defender.

Supporters Blast Trump on Truth Social After He Takes Credit For COVID Jabs

E. Rowell:  It is very difficult to understand Trump’s position on this.  It does not fit with his stance on every other policy issue, in which he places the needs of everyday hard working Americans above the needs of the globalist predators who created the US bioweapons program and passed it off as a public health program.  We know there are very powerful forces trying to eliminate Trump politically and personally.  Up to this point he has shown steadfast strength in wanting to protect Americans and America.

By Deborah Heine, AMERICAN GREATNESS            8 March 2024

Former President Trump is facing fierce blowback from his own supporters on his social media platform after taking credit for the vaccines that “saved us” from COVID-19.

Trump posted a “live, play by play” of Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech Thursday night to Truth Social, blasting his remarks on a number of issues and describing the address as “angry” and “polarizing.”

Colonel Douglas Macgregor response to Joe Biden SOU speech is profoundly accurate and important

By Sundance, CONSERVATIVE TREE HOUSE           8 March 2024

Retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor delivers a surprisingly accurate response to the situation created by Joe Biden as espoused in the 2024 State of the Union address.  I cannot emphasize the value of these remarks strongly enough, in part because my own independent research – and that of a global team I have been working with- is in direct alignment with this outline.

Two years ago, I accepted the reality that Western sanctions against Russia were profoundly different from all other sanctions and completely ridiculous in the bigger picture of how the global economy operates.  A sanction regime is familiar and has been used against Cuba, North Korea, Iran and even Venezuela before.  Few were paying attention, but for the first time the U.S sanctions against Russia were not created to target Russia and punish any violator, they were created to remove the tools which would allow violations.  The actual dollar as a trade currency was being weaponized.

Did Israel get permission to free the Entebbe hostages?

Or for that matter, did Israel get permission to declare independence or bomb Saddam’s reactor? Op-ed.

I wish Israel had great political leaders of historic moment. Few countries do. Actually, despite his catalog of prior failings (amid his many successes) — highlighted by October 7 proving what many of us (but not the IDF or its Intelligence) warned for years about merely “mowing the grass” and letting in concrete, steel, and Qatari millions — Binyamin Netanyahu still stands as the best Israel’s got now. That thought is humbling.

Israel is in a strong position, not a weak one.

Israel should refuse to discuss the day after and she shouldn’t agree to a ceasefire. This applied in Dec of last year and still applies.

By Ted Belman, AM THINKER Dec 29/23

At first glance, Israel appears to have no choice but to buckle under US pressure. After all she needs the resupply of munitions and the protection of the US veto at the UNSC.

The NYT reports The U.S. wants Israel to use elite forces to rescue hostages and kill Hamas leaders.

“Mr. Biden wants Israel to switch to more precise tactics within three weeks, or soon thereafter. The officials asked for anonymity to discuss the president’s thinking.

“The new phase that the Americans envision would involve smaller groups of elite forces that would move in and out of population centers in Gaza, carrying out more precise missions to find and kill Hamas leaders, rescue hostages and destroy tunnels, the officials said.”

THE IDF: 20 YEARS OF MISGUIDED PLANNING. With General Itzhak Brik

Gadi Taub | Tablet | March 8, 2024

In this in-depth special edition of Israel Update we bring you (with English subtitles) a conversation with General Itzhak Brik – the man who has been sounding the alarm about the lack of IDF preparedness for many years. The IDF brass routinely dismissed his warnings. But Israel has since learned the hard way that he was right. Brik walked us through the mistakes that brought about the decline of Israel’s military force under the false conception that big wars are a thing of the past and that a small technological army would do to keep Israel safe. We also asked him how ready Israel may be for a war with Hezbollah.

Lara Trump Elected Co-Chair of RNC

Peloni:  This will prove to be a decisive change in the RNC.  Now McConnell remains as the last leg of the old party leadership who must be removed, and he is trying to promote his protege, Sen. John Thune for the role when he steps down in November.  It would be a mistake for Trump to support Thune as McConnell’s successor, as it was a mistake for Trump to have supported McConnell for re-election in 2020, just to be betrayed by him in the months and years which have followed.  If the party chooses wisely, MAGA could potentially control the entire leadership apparatus of the Rep Party.  Time will tell.

One-on-one with Douglas Murray

E. Rowell:  There are some people who have been through great trials, or endured grief and great emotional pain.  Those who have learned from their pain become more able to love and more compassionate, but most of all, they can see the truth more clearly and simply than many others.  Donald Murray might just be one such person:  a man who can see what matters most and convey it clearly, right from the heart.  And what is said right from the heart goes right into the hearts of us all.

British intellectual Douglas Murray speaks with Bruce Hill ahead of his visit to Australia about the recent upsurge in antisemitism worldwide – and “down under.”

Antisemitism

Prominent British journalist and commentator Douglas Murray is coming to Australia.

He’s holding public events in every mainland state and is already attracting opposition. A campaign has been started to cancel his talk at a theatre in Sydney, with former ABC Weekend Breakfast host Josh Szeps on March 24. He stands accused of “fomenting anti-immigration, Islamophobic, anti-black, European civilisational moral panics”.

Murray, who was recently in Israel visiting the scene of the October 7 atrocities, says his support for Israel is driving some people mad. In a wide-ranging discussion, he touches on this and a plethora of related topics.

The Occupation of Territory in War: A Diplomatic and Strategic Achievement for Israel

E. Rowell:  This analysis provides perspective on specific military decisions in the past (whether justified or not) and offers corrective ideas, and a vision which, if utilized, could provide a positive turning point in the history of Israel.

By Brig. Gen. (res.) Dr. Meir Finkel, BESA            14 February 2024

© IDF spokesperson

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The occupation and holding of territory, which used to be a central component of the IDF’s war concept at all levels, became almost irrelevant during Israel’s many years of fighting terrorism and guerrillas in Gaza and Lebanon. But there are three reasons why it is a big mistake to discount the value of conquered territory. First, the occupation by Israel of enemy territory (while evacuating the local population for its own protection) is considered by Israel’s enemies to be a painful loss, and the possession of territory can serve as a bargaining chip in political negotiations.

TIERNEY’S REAL NEWS                                                      8 March 2024

I just watched two short videos from Mike Benz, who worked in President Trump’s State Department. I learned more in that 15 minutes than I have uncovered in the past 4 years. I’ve followed him for a long time but never have I heard such a succinct explanation of why we are where we are today! This is a must read! Benz has been vetted by several people I trust.

Here’s a brief synopsis of what Mike said and what you need to know to understand just how important it is that Trump DISMANTLE the DC swamp (and the bureaucrats embedded in US agencies) if we are to survive and prosper as a free nation.

How the Gaza Ministry of Health Fakes Casualty Numbers

The evidence is in their own poorly fabricated figures.

The number of civilian casualties in Gaza has been at the center of international attention since the start of the war. The main source for the data has been the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry, which now claims more than 30,000 dead, the majority of which it says are children and women. Recently, the Biden administration lent legitimacy to Hamas’ figure. When asked at a House Armed Services Committee hearing last week how many Palestinian women and children have been killed since Oct. 7, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said the number was “over 25,000.”

Judea and Samaria are a tinderbox

by Dr. Eric R. Mandel, MEPIN

We Americans want “right now” solutions, but now is not the time.

It’s an early spring morning in Samaria with beautiful blue skies, early blossoming trees and poppy anemones as I crisscross the highly contested and volatile region. Besides the natural beauty, what stands out is the amount of uninhabited land between Arab and Jewish villages. The idea that Judea and Samaria cannot sustain more population growth appears unwarranted.

The Real Message From Biden and Sunak to Israel: Get Moving

Israel got a warning from London yesterday, but it’s not the one that’s been widely reported.

Benny Gantz, who presents himself as Israel’s opposition leader and is, for now, a member of the triumvirate unity war council governing the country under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has been traveling to Western capitals to burnish his credentials for his inevitable rematch against Netanyahu. As of now, Gantz’s party is far ahead of Bibi’s in the polls, but Gantz understands that Israelis need to be able to picture him in the big chair.

Biden to Order US Forces to ‘Help’ IDF Build ‘Temporary’ Seaport in Gaza

By Hana Levi Julian, JEWISH PRESS                            7 March 2024

US President Joe Biden is expected to announced in his State of the Union Address on Thursday night that he will order American forces to coordinate with the Israel Defense Forces in an “emergency mission” to build a “temporary seaport” for Gaza.

The temporary port is intended to open a maritime route for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza from Cyprus, an option that has been discussed for several months. There is no indication that the US will use the port to allow the Gazans to escape from Gaza, and it appears that for now, the US plans to continue leaving the Gazans trapped there, as Egypt has been doing along its shared border at Rafah.

‘We have no say’: Explosive recording of 2020 judicial appointment meeting revealed

An exclusive recording obtained by Israel Hayom of a Judicial Selection Committee meeting in 2020 offers a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the legal system and what might have been the catalyst of the tumultuous efforts to reform Israel’s judicial system.

On Nov. 15, 2020, members of the committee convened in the office of then-Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn following a two-year break due to the multiple election rounds.
