We continue to lose the battle over words -Yes, Mamdani is a Radical Socialist but he is also an antisemitic Islamist.
We Jews must insist that discussions of Mamdani should recognize the danger of Islamism.
Peloni: As Trump moves into the midterm season, is it mere coincidence that Bannon and Carlson each begin a targeted simultaneous assault on the philosemitic nature of the MAGA movement. Such coordination no mere chance. The solidarity of the MAGA movement has been the ultimate threat to Washington’s power elites, the very opponents which Carlson and Bannon feign to oppose. If their opposition to the power elites was sincere, they wouldn’t have chose this moment to rise the stakes with their antisemitic attacks. Are they baiting Trump for a response so they can try to split the party?

Leading Republicans are distancing their movement from antisemitism as the Republican Party continues to grapple with the fallout of Nazi sympathizer Nick Fuentes appearing on the show of Tucker Carlson, one of the most popular voices perceived to be part of the American right wing.

Arming even the with F35 jets, even as they are not the same as the F35I Adir planes which Israel flies, represents a capacity which should not be granted to the KSA. It is the capacity for overwhelming Israel’s defenses which must be the Redline drawn in the sand, not what treaties or normalizations are agreed upon which will keep Israel secure into the future.

Peloni: The importance of the the Tucker Carlson-Nick Fuentes-Heritage President debacle is not the degree to which they openly embrace antisemitism, but the degree to which their base rejects them doing so. While it is true that this would once have been true on the Left, it no longer is, indicating a strength on the Right which still clings to the Judeo Christian foundations of American culture and values as being more relevant and substantive than the weak and corrupt leaders which are failing this test in this moment. This is how Trump came to gain the support of many life long Democrats after the Democrats became anti-American demagogues, and if the Right were to pursue a similar bend as is being advocated by Tucker Carlson and his Jew Hating guest, I am quite certain the bipartisan disaffection within the US would find an altogether more American style platform around which to coalesce.

After Tucker Carlson’s recent fawning interview with the utterly toxic Nick Fuentes and the craven response from Heritage’s president, moral conservatives are waking up to the fact that they’ve got a cancer of true white supremacist, anti-Evangelical, antisemitic, misogynistic hate growing fast on the fringes of the conservative movement. However, unlike Democrats, conservatives are not bowing before these vipers and inviting them in; instead, they’re fighting back.
Peloni: Treaties are based on national interests, and due to geopolitical shifts and subtle nuances within the political winds of individual nations, such security ties should be understood to be temporary at best. The way for Israel to remain the Jewish state is for her to maintain her military advantage over her regional allies and enemies alike. A strong Israel will survive while a passive Israel makes for an attractive target, even for those she considers friends, in a region beset with a consistent taste for war and Jihad. Quite simply, the best defense is to maintain both the best defense and the best offense, for which there can be no substitute, not in trade, not in normalizations and not in treaties.

1. New Jersey isn’t as much of a lost cause as New York. It’s just borderline enough that Republicans throw their passion and energy into it only to end up with races that seem close, but ultimately aren’t. Virginia, packed full of bedroom community government employees, is occasionally winnable, but mostly not. New Yorkers tend to vote for whoever is on the Dem party line and the Mamdani machine rammed up social media hype that got younger voters to turn out.

On November 3, YNETnews.com headlined, “The United States has circulated a draft resolution at the U.N. Security Council calling for the creation of an international force in Gaza with authority to oversee demilitarization and reconstruction under a new transitional body.”
On what Authority does Trump dictate the future of the Gaza Strip, including, apparently, the reconstruction of the Strip benefitting the party that ignited the war?
Since when did he become the sovereign owner-ruler of this 25-mile-long beach-front property empowered to decide its future?
Peloni: It seems somewhat impossible to discuss the relationship of Jordan with Israel today without mentioning the open hostility which is fomented from the Jordanian govt against Israel, and yet this discussion regarding Jordanian-Israeli relations does exactly this. Beginning exactly 4 days before October 7, Queen Rania eerily began a blood libel campaign against Israel which is still ongoing to this day. Most recently, while visiting Germany, Rania compared Israel to Nazi Germany. This Jew Hating rhetoric is unwarranted, inflammatory and actually violates the terms of the peace treaty between Jordan and Israel, which was in fact discussed in this interview. It is unfortunate that this was not addressed in this conversation. Jew Hatred in Jordan is not simply due to the soil on which the Jordanians are raised, as the radicalization of their people is part of Jordanian society, its religious teachings and its education. All of this is contrary to any consideration of peace, as the royal family constantly cites public sentiment for their “neutral” stance towards Israel.

There is no genocide in Gaza. What followed the Hamas-led terrorist attacks in southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, was a military response by Israel aimed at dismantling the group responsible. It was the logical result of attacking a sovereign state and using civilians as human shields.
The accusation that Israel is committing genocide in the Palestinian enclave has become a popular slogan among Israel’s critics and far too many hostile governments ever since that Black Shabbat. It’s repeated in protests, in the media and even in international courtrooms. But slogans are not evidence, and repeating a falsehood again and again doesn’t make it true.
Peloni: Election reform in the US remains the greatest obstacle to America’s return to greatness. So long as foreign influences and Domestic elitistists maintain an undue influence in America, the Republic will continue to decline. I still believe that the NYC mayor race is winnable, but it shouldn’t be this difficult for one of America’s largest cities to choose their own elections. Mamdani shouldn’t even have been on the ballot, and yet he is poised to possibly be the next mayor of NYC.

In my early analysis of what made Mamdani the nominee, I noted that there was high turnout by the Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslim settler population in New York City combined with really low turnout and enthusiasm by traditional Democrats who weren’t exactly enthused by Cuomo et al. The 5% of New Yorkers who voted in the primary were very much a minority. This was a campaign driven by Mamdani’s fellow Indian Muslims in occupied Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Not even in the United States.
