Netanyahu tells Biden Israel will act militarily against Yemen’s Houthis if US won’t: report

by Michael Dorgan, FOX NEWS

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has allegedly told President Biden that his country will act militarily against Yemen’s Houthi movement if the United States fails to do so, according to a report by Israeli publication N12News.

The Iran-aligned group has been harassing Israeli and U.S. forces in the Middle East since the start of Israel’s war with Hamas.

N12News posted on X Saturday that Tzachi Hanegbi, Israel’s national security chief of staff, told journalists Amit Segal and Ben Caspit about its intention to respond to the group that has attacked and seized several Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab strait, a sea lane through which much of the world’s oil is shipped.

WASHINGTON – Secretary of State Antony Blinken met on Friday with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye, as well as a Palestinian Authority senior official, as part of a delegation representing the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

According to spokesperson Matthew Miller, Blinken reaffirmed the United States’ support for Israel’s right to ensure Hamas can never repeat the October 7 attacks. He then discussed the urgency of addressing humanitarian needs and protecting Palestinian civilians in Gaza, preventing displacement, and discussed the U.S. commitment to achieving lasting peace and security in the region, including through the establishment of a future Palestinian state alongside the State of Israel.

Israel is on a collision course with the US

T. Belman.  US would “under no circumstances” allow the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza, the besiegement of Gaza, or the redrawing of the borders of Gaza.”

By taking this position, the US is leaving no wiggle room for Israel. Israel should not play ball and not agree to a ceasefire even if ordained by the US or the UN. She should reject these confines and leave it to the US to do the impossible without Israel’s cooperation. Israel should not commit suicide at their behest. She should reject the confines as unacceptable and put the ball back in the US court.

The government needs to stop playing politics and instead outline a vision for the day after in Gaza.

By YAAKOV KATZ, JPOST  DECEMBER 8, 2023

Is Israel on a collision course with the United States? It might be, and while there is a way to avoid the clash, it is a step that Benjamin Netanyahu will have a hard time taking.

The clash is already identifiable from remarks made in recent days by top administration officials like Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Both warned Israel against the growing civilian death toll in Gaza and said that the US would “under no circumstances” allow the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza, the besiegement of Gaza, or the redrawing of the borders of Gaza.

Explaining the First Amendment to university presidents

Shockingly, the presidents of Harvard, Penn and MIT do not know that the First Amendment does not protect antisemitic hate speech or support for terrorism.Op-ed.

By Nathan Lewin, INN  7 December 2023

Nathan Lewin, J.D., is a Washington, D.C., attorney with a Supreme Court practice who has taught at leading national law schools including Harvard, Columbia, Georgetown and the University of Chicago.

(JNS) In the wake of the astounding testimony before Congress by the presidents of Harvard, Penn and MIT, three important questions must be asked:

1) Why are the presidents of leading American universities abysmally ignorant of Supreme Court rulings on the limits of protected speech under the First Amendment?

Hezbollah exploits Lebanese army soldiers as human shields and collaborators

By Tal Beeri, ALMA ERC 7 December 2023

Three Lebanese army troops were injured and one was killed by IDF fire on December 5, 2023, in the Tel Aweida area of southern Lebanon, west of Kafr Kila and south of Deir Mimas. The event occurred in a location where Hezbollah conducts military action and classifies it as a military zone. From this area, Hezbollah launches mortars and rockets and conducts observations towards Israel. Hezbollah activity in this area was targeted around two months ago, on October 15. A Lebanese Army Forces (LAF) base is located near Hezbollah’s operating area. The IDF outpost “Galgalit” operated there until May 2000.

Before his death, Kissinger suggested abandoning the two-state solution – ‘No promise of peace’

The first Jewish US secretary of state, and one of the most influential statesmen of the 20th century, claimed shortly before his death at the age of 100 that the two-state solution would not guarantee long-term peace; ‘The two-state solution doesn’t guarantee that what we saw in the last weeks won’t happen again’

Ynet|

Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, considered one of the most influential statesmen of the 20th century, died last week at the age of 100. In an interview he gave to the news website Politico shortly before his death, Kissinger – the first Jew to hold the position of secretary of state – suggested abandoning the two-state solution.

Kissinger made this declaration against the backdrop of the Swords of Iron war and the Hamas massacre on October 7. He said that he would like the war to end “peacefully,” but emphasized: “I don’t see a peaceful outcome with Hamas involved in the conflict. I would favor negotiations between the Arab world and Israel. I do not see, especially after these events, that direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians are very fruitful.”

Geert Wilders: In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: “Who lost Europe?”

[Sorry, I couldn’t find the link.]

Here is the speech of Geert Wilders, Chairman, Party for Freedom the Netherlands , at the Four Seasons in New York , introducing an Alliance of Patriots and announcing the Facing Jihad Conference in Jerusalem .

I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.

Don’t Jewish Lives Matter? Apparently not

I expected support from the leaders of the Black caucus of America. The disappointment is profound.

In the 60s, in America, three young men were active on behalf of civil rights for African Americans.

James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner, spent the summer of 1964 registering African Americans to vote in Mississippi where they were brutally lynched by the KKK, their bodies tossed in a shallow grave.

Chaney was African American. Both Goodman and Schwerner were Jewish.

Patrick Byrne: Is Extortionist Jack Smith Being Extorted to Pursue Trump?

It started off as a typical DeepCapture intrigue, this one set in Europe, with whistleblowers whispering in the backs of airport hotel bars, stakeouts in obscure Swiss hamlets, and back-alley brush-passes in Eastern Europe capitals. It ended with proof that is a liver-punch to Garland’s politicized Department of Justice and its Southern District of New York offices.

Blinken: There’s a gap between Israel’s promises and its conduct on the ground

Secretary of State claims there is a gap between Israel’s intent to protect civilians in southern Gaza and the results on the ground.

  Dec 8, 2023, 6:18 AM (GMT+2)

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday criticized Israel’s conduct in its operation in southern Gaza, claiming there was a “gap” between its intent to protect civilians and what has been happening on the ground, Reuters reported.

Speaking at a news conference in Washington following a meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, Blinken laid out concrete steps to ensure civilians are out of harm’s way and the areas they go to are supplied with food, medicine and water.

Muslim Lives Matter. Jewish Lives Don’t.

By Daniel Greenfield, 07 Dec 03:16 PM

On Nov 5, Paul Kessler, a 69-year-old Jewish man, was killed at a pro-Israel rally in California.

A pro-Hamas protester had previously displayed a gun to intimidate the pro-Israel ralliers. While Kessler lay bleeding on the ground, the Muslim protesters chanted, “Hitler should’ve smashed you ” and threats of violence from Hamas. The media reported none of this, instead it described the killing of Kessler as an accident. Once the killer was arrested, CNN did not interview Paul’s friends, but quoted claims that his Muslim assailant was really a “man of peace”.

The strategic aspects of the Gaza war

Opinion: Iran’s credibility and its entire proxy strategy are suddenly at stake after world pointing to Tehran as backer of Hamas and threat of regional conflict threatening to bring fighting to its doorstep

By Dr. Avigdor Haselkorn, YNET

Assessing the entire strategic impacts of the war in Gaza is a Herculean task. The reverberations are bound to be felt by individual countries, regionally as well as in the global arena. Some of its results will only emerge over time. Yet a few initial observations could already be offered.

One overarching fact has reemerged. Rudimentary weapons are more than enough to cause unspeakable horrors, mass slaughter, and destruction when in the hands of a fanatical army that weaponized evil. Indeed, it may be postulated that given the October 7, experience barbarism amounts to the nuclear option of Jihadism when it comes to its extermination-causing potential.

Israelis Are Still Captive to Netanyahu’s Doctrine

By Carolina Landsmann, HAARETZ

It seems as if years have passed since “60 Minutes” aired its episode about the government’s judicial overhaul. It included an interview with combat pilot Shira Eting, one of the leaders of Brothers and Sisters in Arms, in which she said, “If you want pilots to be able to fly, and shoot bombs and missiles into houses knowing they might be killing children, they must have the strongest confidence in the people making those decisions.”

On October 7, we learned that the threat of reservists refusing to serve was never carried out. At the moment of truth, they showed up with no hesitation. The pilots proved that they were prepared to bomb houses even knowing that they might well kill children. Does this imply that they have “the strongest confidence in the people making those decisions?”

White House removes CAIR from national strategy on antisemitism

PELONI. Having professional antisemites involved in any attempt to address the growing antisemitism in the US only serves to demonstrate how completely disinerested the establishment is in combatting antisemitism.  Their role in this position was an outrageous act of Jew Hatred from the day they were appointed to this position which preceded October 7, and yet, even after they celebrated the slaughter of Jewish innocents that day, it has taken the administration two months to take any steps in responding.

ALL Muslim Brotherhood organizations should be stripped of all such govt positions, refused govt funding, and placed on terror watch lists.

A White House spokesman also condemns “shocking, antisemitic statements” from the Council on American-Islamic Relations executive director.

As of 1:51 p.m. on Dec. 7, the archived page continued to reference CAIR, but at some time thereafter, the White House removed that reference.

How Were the Universities Lost?

The Ivy league and their kindred so-called elite campuses may soon go the way of Disney and Bud Light

By  Dec 7/23

After October 7, the public was shocked at what they saw and heard on America’s campuses.

Americans knew previously they were intolerant, leftwing, and increasingly non-meritocratic.

But immediately after October 7—and even before the response of the Israeli Defense Forces—the sheer student delight on news of the mass murdering of Israeli victims seemed akin more to 1930s Germany than contemporary America.
