Over the course of this past week, the more I read about what happened at Bondi Beach and what is happening around the world, the more horrific did I understand our situation to be. Evil confronts us on every side.
But we will not let it triumph.

Last week, Israel’s internal security service indicted a Russian citizen for spying on behalf of Iran. He entered the country on a work visa, photographed ports, ships, and critical infrastructure, and communicated with an Iranian intelligence handler in exchange for payment.
Israel treats it as espionage. Iran treats it as normal. Russia treats it as a cost worth the cause. And America still treats it as a strategic partnership.

Let me repeat what I’ve been saying since Day 1 of these ceasefire proposals.
No one else is going to rebuild Gaza except us. No one else is going to police Gaza except us. If we don’t want to be stuck with any of that, we need to drop the fake ‘ceasefire’ and end our involvement in Gaza. Because what’s waiting for us isn’t just nation building or even nation building on steroids, but nation building on crack.

Many people have noted the irony: New York City, which jihadis hit so hard on September 11, 2001, have now elected as mayor a man who is a Twelver Shi’te Muslim, the same sect whose adherents among the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran regularly scream “Death to America.” How could New Yorkers have elected such a man as mayor, when New York City, above all other cities in the United States, knows what jihad is all about? The answer to that question is that New Yorkers don’t actually know what jihad is all about. They’ve been systematically lied to, most egregiously in New York City schools. Now, a New York Republican is trying to bring this travesty to an end.
Peloni: The US attacks Isis in northern Syria while Israel attacks them in the south, and Lebanon claims they are amusingly close to begin disarming Hezbollah.

Peloni: The question arises as to whom the Israeli public are more comfortable with conducting an investigation of the October 7 failures: the bureaucrats over whom the public have no control or leverage, or the politicians who are chosen by the public. Implications and interests abound among each, but only the politicians will pay a direct price if they are perceived to be obfuscating rather then revealing what took place. Additionally, the politicians alone were chosen by the public in the first place.

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara once again expressed her opposition to the government’s plans on Sunday, this time, excoriating the coalition for bills aiming to establish a commission of inquiry into the failings leading to the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas massacre, and to close down Army Radio.
Peloni: It is important to recognize that with elections coming, both in the US and in Israel, that there are two divergent perspectives which will need to be managed. In the US, Trump is trying to sell the story that there is peace in the Middle East, that the threat from Iran has been neutralized and that Hamas and Hezbollah can be negotiated into disarming. Of course, none of this is true. Meanwhile in Israel, Bibi has to assure the country that the strategies of old, mowing the grass and supporting terror enclaves, is at a thing of the past. The mutually exclusive nature of the political needs of these two leaders will become more difficult to bridge as the Fall of 2026 approaches, making it fairly clear that any action which is not taken in the very near future will be delayed til at least this time next year.

Peloni: This is very very good news. It was an ignorant policy denying security forces ready access to arms by which to defend themselves and the community. I look forward with baited anticipation to see this number grow from 10,000 to more than ten times this number. A well armed, well trained, well disciplined public is how the public can act to protect themselves, their loved ones, their community and the nation.

In an April 2024 New York Times column, Bret Stephens articulated what many consider the correct approach to Israel’s existential war:
“Israel must destroy Hamas as a military and political force in the territory while minimizing harm to civilians… It must, by diplomacy or force, push Hezbollah back from Lebanon’s southern border, so that 60,000 Israelis can return safely to their homes in the north. It must take the battle directly… to Hamas’s and Hezbollah’s patrons, whether in Syria, Qatar or Iran.”
Peloni: Herein lies the consequences of the failed US Turkey policy which has come to embolden an already too emboldened Erdogan as he looks to fulfill his nation’s long held hopes of rebuilding the long lost empire of the Ottomans.

Israel, Greece, and Cyprus share a common enemy, Turkey, that has been projecting its power in the eastern Mediterranean by establishing military outposts in Syria. Turkey has also made large claims about the extent of its own territorial waters, no doubt hoping there is oil and gas under them.
Peloni: The silence surrounding the butchery of Christians described in this latest report on the plight of Christians in Africa continues to evade the world’s interest, just as it should be monopolized over the continued fake news being promoted to demonize Israel.

Our love is greater than their hate.
That is the sign I received after Oct 7-from a Jewish organization.
This was their response to the barbaric attack by civilian Muslims on Jews who had provided work and healthcare to them in the name of peace and love.
Peloni: This marks the first indication of the Trump administration’s intention to deal with the rising threat of Islamization in the US. It is well overdue after months of calls for action to be taken regarding such Islamization campaigns taking place in TX, FL, MI and elsewhere in the US, not to mention the election of the Islamist allied mayor of NYC. It will be interesting to see how Trump deals with the moral and practical conflicts which exist in any attempt to create carveouts for the Islamists ideology in Qatar and Turkey will any calls to deal the rising threat of Islamization in the US today. The two policies are mutually exclusive and directly relatable.
More specific to Gabbard herself, it is important to watch her speech here and recall that she has been almost uniquely wrong on the issue of Islamists going back to her opposition of blocking the JCPOA, her advocacy of the Islamist project of the creating a second Muslim Palestinian state, and her co-sponsoring a bill which legitimized the anti-Israel BDS campaign. While she is today the head of the US intelligence services, at the time of her gross incompetence listed above, which was a very abbreviated list of her misguided preference for Islamist causes, she held security clearances which should have informed her well enough then to be stating what she is saying today.

It was not, as National Post describes it, a “hate” plot. The primary motivation wasn’t hate. The primary motivation was seeking to please Allah and gain pleasure in the process, through the sexual use of infidel women that Allah calls for in the Qur’an (see 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, and 70:30). The National Post is simply continuing the intense willful ignorance of the Western political and media establishment regarding the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat.
