I understand the importance of the tradition of public officials participating in the Israel Day Parade, and the obvious implications of a Mayor governing over the largest congregation of Jews in America breaking with that tradition, but I see the realities surrounding this issue somewhat differently. In fact, Mamdani’s evident policies and rhetoric supporting Jew Hatred and Jew Haters is self evident, and his presence at the Israel Day Parade would not only be a break with his policies and rhetoric, but it would have also undermined the honesty of the celebration simply by honoring him with any role in the celebrations which took place. Indeed, when I watched the hypocritical statements of Sen. Schumer the Palestinian speaking about the concerns of the rise of antisemitism during the celebrations, I have to confess it made my blood boil. In fact, the leadership of the Democratic Party betrayed the Jews of America with their support of the Mamdani mayoral candidacy, just as their betrayal also included the support of the policies which brought about the rise in antisemitic immigrants being actively shuttled into the US in general, and into New York specifically, while subsidizing the failing support of the Dems by actual Americans.

This 900 year old Crusader structure stands atop the strategically situated mountain overlook from which Hezbollah attacks were coordinated against northern Israel following the Israeli withdrawal abandoned this key structure back in 2000. Shortly after the success of the capture of this ancient fortress, the French called for a meeting of the UN Security Council regarding Lebanon. Meanwhile Channel 14 is reporting that major attacks across Lebanon will be taking place within 24 hours while coordinated with the US. See Netanyahu’s comments at bottom. Ben Gvir is calling for the flattening of the Hezbollah stronghold at Dahieh in southern Lebanon, but this is expressly contrary to agreements between Israel and the US at this point outside of specific targeted attacks, so don’t look for any such flattening strikes to happen.

A new U.S.-Iran nuclear deal may soon emerge — or at least an initial memorandum of understanding (MOU) to be fleshed out over 60 days. President Donald Trump pledged on May 27 that the United States will resolve the conflict with Iran peacefully and lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports — but only if Tehran agrees to a truly “great” nuclear agreement. If not, Washington will finish the job militarily.
Escalating pressure, both economically and militarily, is the right approach. The Obama administration’s weak P5+1 nuclear agreements with the regime in 2013 and 2015 left Tehran’s pathway to acquiring nuclear weapons fundamentally intact. Flush with billions of dollars in sanctions relief, the regime built up its terrorist proxies, missile arsenals, and drones — ultimately forcing Trump to confront it with both military action and sustained economic pressure.

In fact, if the illicit funding which took place demonstrates any knowledge of the October 7 Massacre, as Avi alludes to below, it must be recalled that the victims of that great slaughter included citizens of 52 different nations.

Yet much, if not most, of the world, including folks like VP Vance and his boss, insist that Israel remain a 9-15 mile wide zipper of a state, while ARABISM gets to have a second, not first, additional state in the original 1920 Mandate of Palestine.
Peloni: A similar strategy has kept the Muslim Brotherhood active and influential in societies which have deemed them as being outlawed over the years, many times actually. Solving this problem is critical to ending foreign influence, and notably not just that of the Chinese, being weaponized and instituted to bring down Western society.

A backlash on Capitol Hill led to the closure of nearly all the Confucius Institutes, leading most to assume that the problem had been solved.
