Shaked Adopts Smotrich’s Bill Increasing Number of Jewish Communities Able to Reject Arabs in Galilee

T. Belman. I also support this bill. People in small communities should have the right to exclude who they will. Some Condominiu owners in the US already have this right.

By  David Israel, JEWISH PRESS

Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked on Sunday tweeted giddily: “A Zionist message on Jerusalem Day – the Admissions Committees bill, making it possible to increase thenumber of families in municipalities with admissions committees, has been approved by the Ministerial Legislative Committee.”

“This is a step on the way to strengthening and expanding Jewish settlement in the Galilee on the one hand, and for the housing market on the other,” Shaked explained, adding, “For 10 years we’ve been trying to pass this law and now we are past the first phase. Thanks to MKs Nir Orbach and Yomtov Kalfon for pushing this forward.”

Biden’s warm words and empty gestures – THIS IS AN EXCELLENT REVIEW

Despite the president’s genuine affection for Israel, his itinerary sent out baleful signals.

Melanie PhillipsCourtesy

(JNS) When dealing with politicians, it’s important always to pay less attention to what they say than what they actually do—and also to what they choose not to say, which may provide a clue to their actions.

When U.S. President Joe Biden arrived this week in Israel, he said he was proud that America’s relationship with Israel was “deeper and stronger, in my view, than it’s ever been” and told an Israeli interviewer that returning to Israel was “like going home.”

How Biden ensured his trip to the Middle East would fail

So long as the progress base of the Democrat Party dictates Biden’s foreign policy, those policies will continue to fail, to the detriment of regional security and stability. Op-ed.

(JNS) Ahead of U.S. President Joe Biden’s trip to Israel and Saudi Arabia, the president published an op-ed in The Washington Post, in which he placed his trip in the context of his overall Middle East policy. A few days later, Israel’s opposition leader, former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, made a brief statement on Biden’s then upcoming visit that spoke directly to the claims Biden made in his article. Taken together, the two communications explain why Biden’s visit was a failure before it even began—and what a successful policy looks like.

A “confederation” instead of a “two-state solution”?

T. Belman, As I have written before, what does confederation mean and what will be confederated?  It is my belief that the only lands to be “confederated” with Jordan are Areas A and Gaza and such lands won’t be a state but will simply territories over which Israel is sovereign and Jordan replaces the PA and Hamas as the administrator.

By Daniel Gordis

With President Biden’s visit to Israel and Saudi Arabia this week, the future of the Palestinians—an issue that to their frustration has mostly disappeared from the news—may return to the headlines once again.

The Two State Solution is no more

Analysis Nine Words Biden Uttered at Tel Aviv Airport Reveal His Policy on Israel-Palestine

In U.S. President Biden’s speech on the first day of his visit to Israel and the West Bank, he actually mentioned ‘peace’ once, but it seems nearly all those present would rather avoid it

By Noa Landau, HAARETZ

Over the years, welcoming ceremonies in Israel for American presidents usually include several motifs that are repeated, irrespective of who the hosts or guests are. Among such motifs – which are really akin to the red carpet and the playing of the American and Israeli national anthems – there is regular mention in the speeches of the “unbreakable” bond between the countries and the Bible and the Holocaust as well as technology and defense. But beyond that, they always feature the aspiration for peace, whether genuine or not.

Gestures are not contractual obligations

T. Belman. This report doesn’t  mention 6 Master Plans but does reference ” the approval of six outline construction plans for Arabs in Judea and Samaria”.  Are they the same things?  Remember gestures are gratuitous and can be rescinded in most cases. They are not contractual obligations.

Do more parts of the Land of Israel have to be given to the Palestinians, every time Uncle Sam visits, wondered the Ad Kan organization.

By Aryeh Savir, TPS

Several Israeli leaders have sounded the alarm following a series of “trust-building” gestures toward the Palestinian Authority (PA) that Defense Minister Benny Gantz approved, ahead of U.S. President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel this week.

Trump Lawyer Says He Will Be Reinstated as President if GOP Win Midterms

BY

Christina Bobb, an attorney who has supported Donald Trump‘s legal challenge to overturn the 2020 election, has suggested a scenario in which the former president could be reinstated after the midterm elections in November.

Bobb told the conservative news outlet the Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) what she thought could happen in states in which there was “evidence that Joe Biden cheated” in the election Trump and his allies have continuously claimed was fraudulent.

Gift to Biden: Cutting off Gush Etzion from Jerusalem

T. Belman. The next government can cancel the Master Plans. By law, in normal jurisdictions the public is given a chance at a public hearing to state their objections.  It takes a long time to approve Master Plans.  I think such requirement will apply to these Plans also as many people are effected.  In my experience as a lawyer dealing in land use, approving of Master Plans is a very long process.  I doubt if it is different in Area C

Regavim movement slams approval of 6 master plans for Arab construction in Area C which will cut off Jewish communities.

As part of a package of “good will gestures” Israel is planning to make to the Palestinian Authority in advance of the state visit of the US president, the Israeli government announced that it will approve six masterplans for Palestinian Arab settlements in Area C of Judea and Samaria, plans which the Regavim movement says will cut off Jewish communities.

Shaked to INN: There will be no consulate, there will be no freeze in Judea and Samaria

Interior Minister not concerned that Biden’s visit will harm the settlement enterprise, believes the government will continue to oppose establishment of consulate for Palestinian Arabs.

“This is an important visit, it is always important when the President of the United States comes to Israel and overall the relations with the Democratic administration are good and former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett promoted them. For an entire year, no consulate [for Palestinian Arabs] was opened in Jerusalem, and with good reason. Bennett insisted on this with the backing of us all. There will be no construction freeze and we will continue to build as we did this past year,” said Shaked.

Israel can say “no” to the US demands more often than not, and the sky won’t fall.

By Ted Belman.

Stephen Flatlow, whose daughter Aliza was killed in a  Palestinian terror attack in 1995, writes, There’s a need for gestures before Biden arrives.. He reports that every time a USA president visits Israel, the State Department demands Israeli gestures but he is referring to the need for Palestinian gestures.

I keep asking myself why does the US and EU keep supporting the Two State Solution. What’s in it for them? Flatlow argues that they have given the Palestinians $10 Billion and the EU has likely done the same. Why? They really don’t care about the Palestinians nor do they care if peace is achieved. Why not defer to Israel to solve the problem and help her if needed.

The Left’s obsession with transgenderism is barbaric

By Patricia McCarthy, AM THINKER

How to explain the Democrat party’s obsession with transgenderism, with shoving it down the throats of every American, from ages five and up?

It’s inexplicable.

Does every registered Democrat support confusing small children with gender identity indoctrination?  That can’t be true.

But school districts across the country are using books about all manner of sexual issues, including pornography, topics way beyond the grasp of small children.  And they are using those books without parents’ knowledge.  When parents discover these books and object, they are threatened.  Grooming, a word that once applied to other cultures or the worst sadists, grooming young children for sex with adults, now applies to public schools in America with the full support of American Democrats in Congress.

A day before U.S. President Joe Biden was slated to land in Israel, Russia announced that its own president, Vladimir Putin, would hold a summit next week with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The timing of this statement was not accidental.

On Friday, Biden is slated to go to Jeddah, on the Red Sea coast, for another summit, attended by the leaders of the Gulf States, Egypt, Iraq and Jordan. This meeting is supposed to lay the cornerstone for regional defense cooperation against common threats to the alliance’s members.

Identity Politics for People Without Identity

There’s no one quite so woke as a white twenty-something with no identity of his, her or xer own, only peer tastes and consumer products. The corporate fusion of consumerism and identity politics in which everyday brands and retailers from Dove to Walmart champion black nationalism or celebrate ‘pride’ happened because they have the same target demographic.

Identity politics, like brand consumerism, is identity for people without healthy identities. The political resurrection of black nationalism was ushered in by Barack Obama, who wrote an entire book about his neurotic sense of racial inauthenticity. Sexual identity politics is equally neurotic.
