Reality Bites Biden

by Jonathan Schanzer, Washington Examiner
June 23, 2022

For a president who sought to walk away from the Middle East, focus American foreign policy toward its traditional alliances, and end America’s oil dependency, Joe Biden’s policy of treating the Saudis like a “pariah” never made much sense. His forthcoming visit to the desert kingdom is an acknowledgment of that.

The public has simply had it with the Middle East after watching successive governments fail to transform the region over two decades through hot wars, drone wars, and wars for hearts and minds. College students are too young to remember 9/11. Older Americans remember but now resent the blood and treasure squandered for little to no gain. The war on terrorism is over (or perhaps it’s on hold until the next major attack). For better or worse, gone are the days of exporting traditional American values abroad. Americans are more interested in yelling at each other about vaccines, masks, and other facets of the culture war.

Israel’s problem: Lots of jobs, not enough workers to fill them – analysis

Unemployment is at a two-year low of 3.6%, about the same as in the United States but less than the 6.8% average in the European Union countries and the 5% rate in the OECD.

Turn on your television and you will see ads aimed at recruiting preschool teachers. Pick up a newspaper and you’ll read how Israel granted permits to 3,500 Palestinians to work in manufacturing jobs. Stand on line waiting to check in at Ben-Gurion Airport and you will realize there are not enough security screeners.

Linda Goudsmit Discusses the Global Takeover of American Education

Ury Weiss. . Linda, it was an excellent interview, you explained eloquently as usual the agenda of the globalists to reach towards the transworld, where there will be one world government, one world currency, one gender, a world which will exemplify the idea of transhumanism, where we will own nothing and be ecstatically happy. Klauss Schwab and his thugs from the World Economic Forum are psychopaths of the worst degree, who in order to accomplish this euforia, they must first destroy America and what it stands for. It’s extremely telling that in times when around the western world, tens of thousands of young people, soldiers, pilots and children are dying or become incapacitated in droves from the Luciferian “vaccines”, the government of Israel is awarding the Jewish Mengele Albert Bourla the prestigious Gemini award. An abominable war criminal, deserving the electric chair is receiving from the equally abominable government of Israel the most prestigious prize for slaughtering our citizens and especially our elderly and our children.

Islamic Antisemitism Drives the Arab-Israeli Conflict

By Mark Durie, MEF

An underestimated, unappreciated, and oft-denied driver of the Arab-Israeli conflict is Islamic religious antisemitism. How deeply entrenched is this religious bigotry, and can it prevent, or slow down, the nascent reconciliation between Israel and the Arab world?

Some might question whether it is justifiable to speak of “Islamic antisemitism” and view this charge as a slur on the name of one of the world’s great faiths, followed by close to two billion people. Yet the numerous passages in Islam’s canonical sources (the Qur’an and Sunna) that depict the Jews as a warmongering, cowardly, and treacherous lot have played a key role in the perpetuation of the Arab-Israeli conflict, as evidenced among other things by the outpouring of antisemitic hate speech during and after the May 2021 Hamas-Israel war.

Israel Needs to Change Its Strategy Against Hamas

by Pnina Shuker, The Jerusalem Post  June 24, 2022

https://www.meforum.org/israel-victory-project/63350/israel-needs-to-change-its-strategy-against-hamas

While Israeli PM Naftali Bennett says “Our new rule is, whoever sends attackers, pays,” Israel is reluctant to launch offensive military operations.

There is arguably no greater symbol of Israel’s reluctance to go on the military offensive than the Hamas observation and sniper tower which overlooks the Israeli community of Netiv Ha’asara.

This simple structure, erected around half a year ago, was built to threaten by its presence hundreds if not thousands of Israeli civilians – men, women and children – going about their daily lives.

Exposed: UNRWA’s Teachers of Hate

UN WATCH

GENEVA, June 28, 2022 — As the U.S. and other Western states gathered on Thursday at the United Nations in the presence of Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to pledge funding for the UN agency that runs schools for Palestinians, UN Watch urged them to stop funding hundreds of UNRWA teachers and other employees who call to murder Jews.

Over 120 UNRWA educators and staff have been found to promote violence and antisemitism on social media, according to the latest report by UN Watch.

Michael Stenger, Jan 6 witness, found dead

By Peg Tierney

BREAKING: Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger – who was in charge of Capitol security on January 6 and who blamed ‘professional agitators’ – NOT MAGA – died suddenly, just hours before TODAY’s J6 surprise hearing. Stenger had previously testified that J6 was infiltrated by “professional agitators.”

I guess the J6 committee had to murder him before he could say that on live TV during the hearings! His cause of death has NOT yet been revealed.

Stenger, the man in charge of protecting the Senate during the Capitol riot died suddenly just a day before Pelosi’s J6 Committee was set to reveal new evidence in a “surprise” session. Hmm. Michael Stenger, 71, was the Sergeant at Arms of the Senate on January 6th.

Who is ‘right-wing’ these days?

When it comes to Benjamin Netanyahu, “right-wing” pundits only recall the tiny details and forget all of his strategic achievements, while blatantly ignoring the historical context in which he operated at the time.

By  Dr. Limor Samimian-Darash, ISRAEL HAYOM

Another election is coming and along with it calls from a host of “right-wing” pundits seeking to remind the public that Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t exactly right-wing. Those who endorsed the boycott of a right-wing government by Naftali Bennett, Gideon Sa’ar, and Ayelet Shaked, and who accepted with equanimity a government consisting of left-wing parties and the anti-Zionist Ra’am party, cannot let Netanyahu live down the fact that in 2009, for example, he failed to form a right-wing government. Because when it comes to Netanyahu, they only recall the tiny details and forget all of his strategic achievements, while blatantly ignoring the historical context in which he operated at the time.

On Losing ‘Roe’ – Blame it on overkill

T. Belman. Wolf argues that this question is not a matter of law but a matter of conscience. By returning the decision  of whether to permit abortion, to the states, we are enabling the development of  “a reasonable consensus reflecting majority views, about what a decent society should do to defend what many see as basic bodily autonomy while still keeping what many see as the deaths of viable innocents out of civilized bounds.”  As we lower the bar for abortion we increase the opposition to it.

How could this possibly have happened? Easy. Pro-Choice movement, look in the mirror.

By Dr. Naomi Wolf, FPM  28.6.22

Last Friday, in a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court struck down the ruling Roe v Wade via its decision on Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Across the country, understandably, frightened and angry young women are protesting; screaming and weeping.

The underlying fundamental goal of communism is to manufacture a revolution

T. Belman. Another tool in the revolutionary kit, is the break down of law and order. Thus organizers of revolution advocate for lawlessness and defunding the police.

How communism fails as economic theory

By J.B. Cohle, AM THINKER

For decades, academia has popularized communism as an economic theory. Students can likely recall lectures in which professors would compare and contrast Karl Marx’s The Communist Manifesto with Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations, (or Thomas Hobbes) debating asset ownership, price controls, redistribution of wealth, and government spending. Other provocative questions along this line would include, should the community share equal ownership of all of a societies’ goods and property, and who should own the means of production?

While these questions are necessary and should be debated, the most unsettling component missing from these discussions is that in actuality, communism, as it is derived from Marxism, is not, as James Lindsay has explained, an economic theory, but rather a pretext and vision for a revolutionary theory.

Russians Prepare Security Council Resolution Against Israel

Furious with Israel for daring to bomb Damascus Airport.

By Hugh Fitzgerald, FPM      27.6.22

The Russians are furious with Israel for daring to bomb Damascus Airport. In the IAF raid, both the civilian and the military runways – the Damascus Airport has only two — were rendered inoperable. Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov is outraged that Israel would hit such a “civilian” target and is preparing a Security Council Resolution against Israel. More on this planned Russian denunciation of Israel is here: “Moscow Works On UN Resolution Condemning Israel for Damascus Airport Strike: Report,” Algemeiner, June 19, 2022:

Saudi Arabia tells Biden & UN: No State between Israel & Jordan

By David Singer, J-WIRE    June 27, 2022

Saudi Arabia has sent US President Joe Biden and the United Nations (UN) a clear message to abandon the idea of creating a new Arab State between Israel and Jordan in an article published in Al-Arabiya News on 8 June headlined: The Hashemite Kingdom of Palestine.

Its author – Ali Shihabi – is not your ordinary run-of-the-mill journalist. He supports and has the ear of Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman (MBS) – the controversial next successor to the Saudi throne.

US and NATO lack capability to supply a long war

By

As weapons inventories dwindle, there’s little chance the West today can build a surge hardware-making capacity

The long and short of it is that, while the US and NATO can fight a short conflict, neither can support a long war because there’s insufficient equipment in the now-depleted inventory and the timelines to build replacement hardware are long.

Despite a history of having done so before, starting in 1939, there is little chance that the US today can put in place a surge capacity, or that it any longer knows how to do so if it is even feasible.
