Jessica Seinfeld’s Instagram post about Kanye West’s antisemitism goes viral among celebrities and influencers

By Jackie Hajdenberg, JTA  25.10.22

As images of the banner held above Interstate 405 in Los Angeles claiming “Kanye is right about the Jews” ricocheted around the internet this weekend, Jessica Seinfeld decided to take a stand.

A cookbook author and wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, Seinfeld posted a simple piece of text on a black background that reads “I support my friends and the Jewish people” and encouraged her 580,000 followers to share the post.

Kanye West has recently outraged a large segment of American society that still believes America is a biblically inspired Republic, embodying the values of its Constitution.

He has done so by publicly threatening not just one or two specific Jews but the entire Jewish people. This is well within the spirit of the classical medieval antisemitism, once largely religious, that was secularized by Mussolini and Adolf Hitler during the 20th century, with horrific results.

In just two weeks we have an election.

Since at least the 1920s, American Jews have been among the most reliable supporters of the Democratic Party. Half of American Jews self-describe as liberal. But more tellingly, they vote Democratic at a rate of 70%. Jews are successful in many pursuits, yet they frequently seem to work against their own economic and political interests through their strident liberal leanings. The question is “why?”

The Kahanist who embodies the fears and drives roiling beneath the shiny surface of the Start-up Nation is now only an election away from real political power. Will it change him?

Israel’s popular Eretz Nehederet television show depicts the far-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir with eyes that explode out of his forehead, straining into the demented full hemispheres of a cartoon character or a serial killer. That the leader of the potentially third-largest party in Israel’s Knesset is a dangerous lunatic is already obvious to most viewers of the show, the country’s Saturday Night Live-like outlet for giving comedic form to establishment orthodoxies. The true contribution of the widely viewed Sept. 21 sketch is its suggestion that Ben-Gvir is not just insane, but campy.

It’s no longer Russia v Ukraine and the west. It’s Russia and Iran v Ukraine and the west

By Melanie Phillips

One reason why the western public has been so indifferent to the threat posed by the Iranian regime is the widespread belief that only Israel is at serious risk.

This, of course, is not only pernicious but absurd. The Iranian Islamic revolutionary regime declared war against the west as soon as it came to power in 1979. It has pursued ever since a relentless war against western interests; its fingerprints have been all over every major global terrorist atrocity; it has killed American, British and other coalition forces in Iraq; it has a programme of building inter-continental ballistic missiles with a target range of Europe and America; it is a malign and anti-western presence from Afghanistan to Yemen.

The Israeli military has destroyed about 90% of Iran’s military infrastructure and attempts to entrench itself – with Hezbollah – in Syria, top officials in the defense establishment claimed over the weekend.

According to the officials, Israel has in recent years succeeded in almost completely curbing Iran’s ability to transfer weapons to Syria, to manufacture weapons on the country’s soil and to establish a base in it with pro-Iranian forces.

President Trump is a lot like the Godfather movies. Part I was great, but Part II might be even better. We can talk about Trump’s successes for days — the wall, the re-writing of NAFTA, low gas prices, etc. But let’s focus on Trump’s most important achievement of them all: he forced the hand of the swamp commies, and now we can see who they are. Woke progressivism seeks to strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

We are told that the MAGA cult, Trump voters, and Republicans in general are a threat to democracy, who, if not neutralized, will lead the nation into fascism.  In theory, a politically divided nation such as ours could evolve into fascism or socialism, should a political faction gain autocratic control.  In reality, however, we are confronted with the threat of evolving into a much more unique political structure – a Mediocracy.

We live in a culture of death and disfigurement.

We should all know about Mengele and his immoral, unethical, evil, barbaric experiments on human beings, particularly the Jews; particularly twins, during the Holocaust. We were to have learned from those “experiments” that doctors must be overseen. Not all are ethical. That not all procedures are acceptable. That we must, as a society, say no to unproven medical practices, especially on children.
We didn’t learn.

I would like to introduce Anita Krishna, a former anchor news with the Canadian CBC. Anita chose to leave her job with the corrupted CBC, who received $$ millions from the federal government to report fake news to the Canadian people. She chose to strike it on her own and report the truth to the Canadian people on the RUMBLE platform.

T. Belman. Many of you have opposed my support of Russia mentioning the its new alliance with Iran. This video makes the point that this alliance is backfiring against Iran.

Remember when?

Now it is easy to see why people have come to believe that the once-vaunted justice system in the US became two-tiered; one for favored elites and one for those the elites loathe.  There are countless examples of this:  peaceful pro-life demonstrators have been raided and charged with serious crimes that they did not commit, while those who fire-bomb pregnancy centers are not even investigated, let alone charged.  Among the hundreds of violent protesters who burned their own cities down in the wake of the George Floyd debacle, few were charged with the crimes they committed and most of those that were had the charges dropped.

T. Belman. This is typical of JTA and TOI. This article is wrong on everything. Ukraine did pose a threat to Russia. It also had killed over 10,000 Russians in eastern Ukraine since 2014.  Israel is not an occupier of anyone’s land. Russia did not annex Ukrainian territory . It annexed former Ukraine territory, which territory had seceded according to law. It considered the recent biased report of the UN Commission of Inquiry worthy of being referenced.
