Austria’s intelligence agency has uncovered a Hamas-linked weapons cache in the capital, Vienna, the government announced on Thursday. Authorities believe the cache was intended for “possible terrorist attacks in Europe.” It included five handguns and 10 magazines.

• Murder of Ambassador Prevented: Mexico, with assistance from U.S. and Israeli intelligence, foiled an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate Jerusalem’s ambassador to Mexico, according to Israeli and U.S. officials who broke the news on November 7. The threat against Israeli Ambassador Einat Kranz Neiger, which remained active from late 2024 through mid-2025, was deemed “contained,” with details around the operation not disclosed due to their sensitive nature. Iran’s mission to the United Nations said that it did not wish to comment on the matter.

Peloni:  This is so toxic.  The exposure of this identity of the Jan 6 Pipe Bomber must  be seen to be the beginning of justice for the criminal abuse which was leveled at the Jan 6 crowd.  The effort to prevent the discovery of the Pipe Bomber’s identity will have a paper trail which will likely be seen to be quite revealing.  It was not by chance that Kerkhoff was able to escape detection for nearly 6yrs.

Peloni:  The failure to name the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist entity has had many devastating consequences over the years, and yet following earlier claims that an executive order supporting such a classification have gone without any further comment over the past months as we stand at about 10months into Trump’s current term.  When we recognize that if the Muslim Brotherhood had been identified as a terrorist group, it would have crippled the source of funding for Mamdani’s campaign, we are left pondering why America remains today on the wrong list of countries regarding the banning of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Peloni:  The mandate system established at the end of WWI gained its authority from the Supreme Allied Powers who defeated the Ottoman Empire, the treaty from which allowed them to dispose of the territories as described in subsequent treaties.  What is taking form in Gaza is that Israel succumbed to paying ransom for the hostages taken and tortured over the past two years, thus incentivizing further hostage taking.  Meanwhile, Gaza is to be placed under a newly reformed version of the unreformable Palestinian Authority and that the reforms being instituted in this den of iniquity would be by nations such as Indonesia which currently do not even recognize Israel’s right to exist.

The US is seeking a United Nations Security Council resolution on Gaza “aimed at bolstering President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan, including by greenlighting an international security force,” France24 reported on November 6. The UN Security Council was expected to begin negotiations on the text. The goal is to “authorize a two-year mandate for a transitional governance body and international stabilization force,” Reuters noted.
