T. Belman. Kontorovich is excellent but in my opinion he left out a key element. The left argues that the Geneva Convention applies to the West Bank and thus Israel is bound to govern these lands according to the Geneva Convention. They accuse Israel of many violations of these accords. BUT. it doesn’t apply.

It only applies when one High Contracting Party (Israel) occupies the land of another High Contracting Party (Jordan)”. The West Bank was never Jordan’s land though it formerly annexed it in 1949. Only two countries recognized the annexation.

It follows that the Geneva Convention does not apply because Israel is not occupying the land of another High Contracting Party.

I believe that this issue was discussed by the High Court of Israel in their fence decision but it was never adjudicated upon. PM Sharon instructed Israel’s lawyers to acknowledge that Israel held the land under “belligerent occupation” and so it did.

T. Belman. Israeli films on Netflix have garnered huge audiences. But now Hamas and others recognize the potential for them to use Netflix to further their propaganda efforts. This is very concerning. I am working on some projects now to publish a very pro-Israel series on Netflix with the PR battle very much in mind.

Hamas is soon slated to produce a new television series to counter Netflix’s streaming of “Fauda,” an Israeli series that Hamas sees as depicting Israel’s version of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

A statement published on Hamas’ Facebook page and in the Arab media said the Arabic-language series, whose title translates into “Fist of the Free,” will air on the organization’s Al-Aqsa channel during Ramadan, which fall in April this year. Hamas is also distributing it for free to Arab and other foreign channels.>

T. Belman. I had lunch today with a former mayor of Shiloh, Israel and we talked about the role of the Min of Defense in Judea and Samaria. I mentioned that the military leaders are very left wing and they want the two state solution. That is the reason they allow the illegal construction.  He told me that these senior people never promote a right winger to the highest echelons because they want it controlled by the left.

Remember this… As an international auditor who performed hundreds of audits around the world, I have never seen or heard about an auditee refusing to be audited.  I have certainly never experienced an auditee take me to court to prevent an audit from taking place… The fact that the state of Pennsylvania and Dominion Voting Machines are trying to prevent an investigation of these machines in Fulton County raises more red flags than are raised in a CCP parade.

Not only has Islam transformed Jesus Christ into a Muslim, and a “Palestinian” one at that; Palestinians are apparently trying to transform him into a “heroic martyr” — a term often translated by those infidels on the receiving end of such heroism as a “terrorist.”

The PA uses many euphemisms and terms to refer to terrorists, and they are applying two of them to Jesus. The first is Fida’i, literally “self-sacrificing fighter.” For example, terrorist Ashraf Na’alwa, who brought a rifle to work, tied up a young mother of a 15-month-old, and then murdered her and another coworker, was called by Fatah: “The heroic Fida’i.” Fatah official Rawhi Fattouh applied this status to Jesus: “Jesus the first Palestinian Fida’i.”

The second term is Shahid – Islamic “Martyr” – the word the PA uses for every terrorist killed during his/her attack, including suicide bombers. Senior Fatah leader Tawfiq Tirawi applied both terms to Jesus: “The first Fida’i and the first Martyr, the messiah Jesus.”

A survey that was conducted on Monday and Tuesday by the Maagar Mochot Institute and published Wednesday morning by Israel Hayom  found that should Benjamin Netanyahu continue to lead the Likud party in the next national election, Likud will win 34 seats (compared with 30 in the current Knesset), and Religious Zionism, led by Bezalel Smotrich, would rise from its current 6 seats to 8. Those two seats will be taken directly from Naftali Bennett’s Yamina party, which according to the survey would drop from 7 to 5 seats.

However, should Netanyahu be forced to leave politics and someone else takes over the Likud leadership, the country’s largest party loses votes, and the big winner is… you guessed, Bezalel Smotrich.

The European Union (EU) has invested half a billion dollars in support of the Palestinian Authority’s illegal takeover of Area C in Judea and Samaria, a comprehensive report by the Ministry of Intelligence on the PA’s plan to take over Area C shows.

The report was exposed Tuesday ahead of a special discussion at the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee at the initiative of the Land of Israel Lobby, which members are warning that “the battle for Judea and Samaria has reached a critical stage.”

According to the report, the PA employs about 600 workers in some 100 registration branches who are engaged in a huge project to map properties, including in Area C, which is under full Israeli control as per the Oslo Accords. The stated goal of the project is gaining and claiming ownership of the land.
