Explosive revelations in the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau’s report on the 2020 presidential election confirm what many in the key swing state have long suspected: Those tasked with administering the election willfully ignored and openly violated state law.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC), the governmental body tasked with administering elections in Wisconsin, is comprised of six appointed commissioners, three from each political party, and a staff that reports to them. Critically, if the commissioners deadlock on an issue before them, no official action is taken and local authorities are left to interpret the recommendations of WEC’s staff.

As a result, the overwhelming majority of WEC’s decisions during the 2020 election cycle were essentially made by unelected, unappointed, and obviously left-leaning bureaucrats. Both they and the commissioners who oversee them were downright derelict in their duty to fairly and impartially supervise an election run by city and county clerks and poll workers who were not properly trained and did not receive accurate, lawful guidance.

In my morning paper there is a discussion of the home front defense drill that will be taking place today, simulating an all-out war with Hamas and Hezbollah. Warning sirens will be activated in various places, and note will be taken of whether schoolchildren and others are able to reach shelter in time. My personal situation is good compared to that of most Israelis; there is a shelter on every floor of the apartment building I live in, and we get about a minute’s warning of rockets from Gaza (flight time is 90 seconds). Rockets from Hezbollah will take a bit longer.

McKeon was grilled by Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.), co-chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus, during his testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee and asked whether he was involved in planning the reopening of the consulate.

The Knesset has been bubbling over for a while now, but as long as the budget had yet to be passed, coalition members were generally cautious and treated one other with respect. They conducted themselves with relative restraint and avoided saying out loud that which was in their heart.

As Terry McAuliffe and the Democrats reflect on McAuliffe’s recent failure to become Governor of Virginia again, they might want to revisit what he said during his last debate with Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin, for it speaks volumes about the sea change in Virginia politics.

As they were debating education, when Youngkin spoke about parents upset about sexually explicit material on library shelves, he turned to McAuliffe and said, “In fact, you vetoed the bill that would have informed parents that they [the books] were there.” McAuliffe replied that the bill he vetoed would actually go beyond informing parents but would give them the right to remove books. “I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decisions.” He then added, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

It’s been an article of faith for Democrats that the rising share of Hispanic voters will empower Democrats will dominate future elections. Almost two decades ago, John Judis and Ruy Teixeira wrote The Emerging Democratic Majority, whose prophecy of Democrat demographic dominance driven in large part by Hispanic immigration (legal and illegal) inspired Biden’s open border policy now flooding us with a tsunami-like human wave.

But the problem for the donkeys is that Hispanic voters are not reacting as predicted by those who think minority status automatically means consciousness of being an oppressed victim in  need of rescue by the statists. In 2020, Biden only got 61 percent of the Hispanic vote, while, Trump increased his share 8 points over 2016. That trend line of Hispanics migrating over to the GOP appears to have continued with the election last Tuesday.

President Trump’s October 28 letter to the Wall Street Journal detailing some of his complaints about the 2020 election and the Journal’s editorial comment on it the following day clearly reveal the shortcomings of both sides of this argument. But the important thing to note is that there are two sides to the argument over the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election result.

The prolonged and intensive effort in which the Wall Street Journal has eagerly participated, to suppress and throttle the merest suggestion of illegitimacy surrounding the 2020 election result, has failed. It has always been understandable why there would be a great body of opinion that would wish to suppress any consideration of the question. It is a sobering and demoralizing thing to imagine that the vastly important process of choosing the president of the United States could possibly be an erroneous or even a fraudulent process.

Ahead of a Supreme Court hearing on Tuesday, seven families of Arab squatters who had waged a legal battle against their eviction from their Jewish-owned Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood signed an arrangement that grants them the status of a protected tenant, which means they acknowledged that their homes are Jewish property. (Update: They’ve since retracted, following pressure from the Palestinian Authority).

Following the legal battle over ownership of several homes in the Shimon HaTzadik neighborhood (Sheikh Jarrah’s Hebrew name), the Jerusalem District Court ruled that the Jewish owners have rights to the homes where the Arabs live illegally, following which eight Arab families in the neighborhood appealed the decision to the Supreme Court.
