Joe Biden, in a USA Today op-ed Tuesday that one of his handlers whipped up for him, claimed that “the most lethal terrorist threat to our homeland in recent years has been domestic terrorism rooted in white supremacy.” Old White Joe, or his ghostwriter, was in a pugnacious mood: “We cannot ignore it. We must confront the spread of hate-fueled violence in every form.”

You know what they say about the Big Lie: it gains acceptance through relentless repetition. That’s certainly what’s happening with the claim that “white supremacy” is the biggest terror threat the nation faces today.

It only seems like yesterday that we learned that a third D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) who had responded to the January 6 riots had killed himself.

Because it was only yesterday that The Hill reported that officer “Gunther Hashida was found dead in his home” last week, according to an MPD email they received.

To call what happened in Washington D.C. on January 6th an Insurrection, is not only preposterous but is an intentional lie Lies like these fragment society and impune national sovereignty.  Israel suffers similarly from the Left’s never-ending false alarms that “our democracy is in danger.” Such mendacity speaks the ultimate forbidden taboo — insurrection — out loud when it has not happened and was not the mind of anyone serious. When you tell enough people that thousands tried a Hitler-style putsch or a Bolshevik-style takeover or military coup, you reduce America’s Constitutional republic and Israel’s own democracy to Haiti, to Zimbabwe, to Arab countries, to Muslim countries, to Communist countries. That is not who America or Israel are, and it is perilous even to suggest otherwise.

T. Belman. This is an open and shut case for the landlords. Why is the court offering a “compromise.”  Its job is to decide according to the law. The Israeli owners are demanding that the Arab residents formally recognize the Jewish residency rights. The Arab families worry that accepting the deal would constitute relinquishing their claims to the property in future potential court battles.

The High Court of Justice on Monday encouraged four Sheikh Jarrah families to accept a compromise deal that would nullify eviction orders and allow them to remain in their east Jerusalem homes.

A three-hour debate in Jerusalem ended without any conclusion, however. The three-judge panel asked the families to consider an offer by which one member of each family would be granted lifetime protected tenancy on the property in exchange for annual payments of NIS 1,500.

The Biden administration has approved a massive solar power project in California that will produce enough power to electrify 90,000 homes. That’s the good news. The bad news is that producing the solar panels in China using coal-fired electrical power plants to generate electricity will produce almost as much CO2 as the fossil fuel plants the solar power is supposed to replace.

Manufacturing solar panels is a dirty business. Starting with the raw mineral quartz, the refining process produces a highly toxic substance, silicon tetrachloride, that some manufacturers simply end up dumping. Huge amounts of power and heat must be used to manufacture the photovoltaic cells. Read more…

On her website, Suffolk County DA Rachael Rollins has a list of crimes that she will not prosecute, ranging from shoplifting, to stealing anything under $250, breaking and entering a vacant property, driving with a revoked license, malicious destruction of property, threats, and drug possession with intent to distribute. Effectively these crimes have been legalized.

It is astonishing how the transgender moral panic has swept actual science aside. The American Medical Association Board of Trustees (BOT) just passed a resolution that will have the AMA lobbying to end the designation of sex in all future birth certificates.

The resolution distinguishes between the “Certificate of Live Birth” — which is used for simple data collection and vital statistics — and a “Birth Certificate,” which is proof for the born person that he or she was indeed born. (Can I still say that?)

The AMA wants biological sex recorded for the former as a private matter of record-keeping. But it will now urge that birth-certificate forms carry no designation of sex to prevent future discrimination based on identity and to allow the person to decide later what sex they really are.
