It is an enemy of the state, and in fact, an enemy of the Jewish people, whose future depends on the state.

Today, when Israel and Jews are under attack throughout the world, when international organizations have been turned into lie factories targeting Israel, when the Jewish State is accused of the very crimes – terrorism, murder, apartheid, genocide – that her enemies are either guilty of or aspire to, an Israeli newspaper, owned and operated by Jews, is a primary propaganda organ of those enemies.

And who was ‘The Old Man’ you ask? It was the name Winston Churchill was given in his later years by an adoring public, especially following the end of World War 2.

Increasingly Churchill railed against the creeping socializing of Britain particularly after the Socialist Labour government swept to power in the July, 1945 General Election.

The Old Man later warned about the growing threat of Socialism in a House of Commons speech in 1948 when he said: “We are oppressed by a deadly fallacy. Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy. Unless we free our country while time remains from the perverse doctrines of Socialism, there can be no hope for recovery.”

Our armed forces are being led by people not tethered to reality.  In testimony before Congress recently, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff defended Critical Race Theory.  He said he wants to understand white rage.  He thinks he is a well read critical thinker.  If General Milley genuinely wants to understand himself better, I recommend White Guilt by Shelby Steele.

Critical Race Theory, diversity ideology, radical feminism, and other woke nonsense are devastating military lethality and readiness.  Even though the beginnings of this trend go back decades, the denial of the differences between the sexes, and the more radical outgrowths of those false ideas, have become more intense than ever.  As the army of Communist China seeks to make its soldiers more masculine, our army seeks to attract more women and fewer men.  This trend has been chronicled, and its grave damage explained, by Brian Mitchell (Women in the Military, 1998), Stephanie Gutmann (The Kinder, Gentler Military, 2000), Kingsley Browne (Co-Ed Combat, 2007), Robert L. George Washington University Law School professor Jonathan Turley has posited that recent unanimous Supreme Court rulings may be the Court sending a message to politicians.  Facing threats to pack the Supreme Court and calls for Justice Stephen Breyer to resign, Turley believes that the Court is making a rare show of unity.  Apparently, the logic is that if they show they’re not ideological (I know, don’t laugh), the Democrats will understand that packing the Court won’t make any difference.  They’re trying to validate Chief Justice John Roberts’s claim that there are no “Obama judges” or “Trump judges.”

There’s just one problem: the Supreme Court is both political and ideological, and everyone knows it.  Trying to gaslight everyone now is asking us to ignore fifty years of bad behavior.  Good luck with that.

The interesting thing about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) isn’t that she can’t stop trolling American Jews, the pro-Israel community and even her Jewish colleagues in the House Democratic caucus. Omar has demonstrated again and again that she is a dedicated ideologue who is committed to anti-Zionist politics and never shy about employing anti-Semitic tropes to advance that cause.

The really interesting thing about her is why so many liberal Jews, Jewish organizations and even Jewish members of Congress are not only afraid to stand up to her, but often bend over backwards to rationalize or justify her outrageous behavior. Yet this explains a great deal about how a largely dysfunctional organized Jewish world has failed to respond effectively to a surge of anti-Semitism emanating from the left-wing of the Democratic Party.

Our founders came to America to escape life in Europe, now our cities are Europe.
