T. Belman. In the Jordan Option we called for the end of UNRWA. We argues for Jordan to replace UNRWA and provide the same services namely education, Social security and health care. Thus the 2 million “refugees” living in Gaza and the West Bank would have to emigrate to Jordan to receive these services and get a citizenship and a passport.

“UNRWA is a very problematic organization. It is fully controlled by Hamas. Hamas uses the facilities of UNRWA for weapons storage and to launch rockets. All of the local employees of UNRWA are Hamas people. Monday’s meeting between US President Joe Biden and President Reuven Rivlin lasted beyond the time that was allotted to it, and according to a political source who was present at the meeting, the issues that were raised touched on the significant challenges facing Israel in the various arenas.

Rivlin spoke at length with Biden about Iran and even conveyed messages from Jerusalem on the subject. The American representatives were very interested in the Israeli information and listened with great attention.

The political source was under the impression that the Americans were open to hearing alternatives to resolving the Iranian issue.

T. Belman. David Singer has promoted the Jordan Option for 40 years. When I came along with my unique Jordan Option Solution, we clashed. I wanted to replace the king with Mudar Zahran as President and he would have none of it.  I just didn’t believe that a deal with Jordan could be negotiated. I was against Palestinian sovereignty west of the Jordan and he wanted to cede part of J&S to Jordan. He wanted to allow all Jews and Arabs to remain where they were and I favoured compensated Arab emigration. And so the differences remain.

I recently had a conversation with Mudar  and we were in agreement with the following facts; 7 million Palestinians live in Jordan, 1.5 million live in the West Bank and 1.5 million live in Gaza. Thus if he became the leader of Jordan he would preside over 70% of  all Palestinians. The latter two numbers were recently confirmed to me by Amb Yoram Ettinger. I am of course excluding the 2 million Arabs who live in Israel.

Instead of trying to resurrect the dead two-state solution, the UN should focus on and implement the Jordanian Option.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Sunday that he hoped not to impose new restrictions despite a rise in the number of new virus cases, citing the lack of increase in the number of patients hospitalized.

“There is an increase in the number of cases but at the moment there is no increase in the number of people hospitalized,” Bennett said at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting. “Our strategy is the maximum protection of Israeli citizens with the minimum violation of routine.”

With remarkable confidence, she talked about a new form of antisemitism facing American Jews: “Today, they no longer say they hate the Jew; today they say they hate Zionists. Today they no longer say they hate the Jewish people; they say they hate the Zionist entity. But the hate is the same.” Some 2,000 people had gathered for the rally. Karlan drew cheers as she insisted that Jewish identity and Israel are deeply interconnected: “Israel is not just the name of the land; it is the name of our people. Gideon Levy, the hateful Ha’aretz writer who reaches new depths of loathing for the state that protects and nurtures him with every column he writes, has gotten something right this week. But he is wrong about the implications of his discovery.

Last week, I wrote about the State of Israel’s reason for being: the Zionist principle that “a sovereign state in the Land of Israel is a necessity to protect and preserve the Jewish people – and that their preservation is an objective worth attaining.” Such a state, of, by, and for the Jewish people, is what the founders meant by a Jewish state.

On Friday, the Department of Justice, through its Civil Rights Division, which is headed by an anti-White, antisemitic radical, sued Georgia, claiming its new voting laws are racist. The suit is a patent attempt to achieve through lawfare what the Democrats were unable to do via legislation; namely, federalize voting laws across America and build into them easy ways to commit voter fraud. On close review, the suit is even more ridiculous than it first appeared. The allegations make clear that the law is above reproach. It’s just that the DOJ is darn sure that Georgia’s legislators had racist hate in their hearts.
