The New “Deal of the Century” – Does Not Depend on Hamas’ Consent.

Peloni:  Yossi Baum, one of the most interesting researchers posting on the internet, provides an extensive discussion of multiple agreements which have come to represent an outline around which the new Middle East is expected to be formed, and the 20 Point Plan is just one part of this.

Is the Democratic Party Finished/aLAlan Dershowitz/Talkline With Zev Brenner

Peloni:  Alan describes himself as an enemy of the Democratic party.  He also hopes to see Curt Sliwa or Andrew Cuomo drop out of the race.  If Mamdani is still successful in becoming mayor of NYC, Alan suggests that the focus shift towards seeing Mamdani’s agenda fail, thus preventing any successes on which the Democrats might build in the future.  Alan also addresses the issue of antisemitism and in this he states the most important goal should be to see Israel keep winning.

Gen. Avivi: Exposes Bigger Picture Behind Trump’s Hamas Deal in Gaza

Peloni:  Avivi states that Trump’s deal was written by Israel while presented by the US.  He asserts that the deal makes Israel the cornerstone in a global alliance against Russia, China and Iran.  He also indicates that Qatar has switched alliance partners from that of Iran to the US, but that Qata must deliver Hamas’ agreement to Trump’s 20 point plan to demonstrate that they have any relevance in this alliance, and Avivi is very confident that Qatar will succeed in getting Hamas to agree.

At the ADL, liberalism has trumped loyalty

Today, Jewish safety depends on strength. Jewish survival depends on sovereignty. And Jewish dignity depends on the refusal to be defined by others. The reborn State of Israel is the embodiment of that principle. Charlie Kirk knew that. The ADL does not.

In a world where anti-Semitism grows with bold impunity—from college campuses to United Nations chambers—one would expect organizations founded to defend Jews to do exactly that: defend Jews. Not just in America, but wherever Jewish life is under threat. Most especially in the only Jewish state, Israel.

Rewarding Oct 7 Will Globalize Oct 7

Peloni:  As the old conception in Israel make October 7 possible in Israel, a similar mental derangement permeates much of the West as public support for terror reaches an all time new level of insanity.  Recalling the adage that those who can not learn from the past are destined to revisit it, the anticipation of similar assaults to October 7 in the West would seem both logical and imminent.

And the next Oct 7 attacks may happen in Paris, London or New York City.

On July 23, 1968, the era of terrorist airline hijacking and hostage taking went into full swing when terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) hijacked an El-Al flight originating in London’s Heathrow Airport and headed out of Rome on the way to Israel.

A Man for One Season and the Anti-Scapegoat

Live every day like it’s your last is a popular saying. The Talmud[i] makes a similar statement, but its concept of living life to the fullest is more sobering. The focus is on being mindful about the opportunities for repentance. This is because each day may be the last opportunity to repent and even on that last day, by repenting, a person can earn eternal life.

Amid embargoes, how independent can Israel’s defense industry be?

Peloni:  Ho Spartan can Israel become?  Does it have the means to be entirely independent?  Certainly not while boasting of the successes it is achieving on the battlefield using American armaments, but this should not inspire a focused effort to make the next generation of Israeli armaments entirely centered around a domestic and dominating Israeli defense industry.  To be certain, there is no greater supporter of Israel than American defense contractors, other than the American Evangelicals, but if Israel is to become independent of needing American consent for its own defenses, the shift towards a domestically arms industry, which is independent of foreign weapon systems as possible, must be made.

Analysts agree with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel could become more self-sufficient, but there are clear limits to the push.

Facing foreign arms embargoes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently called for Israel to become far more self-reliant on homegrown defense products, describing his vision of the Middle Eastern power as a “super Sparta.”

The New Syrian Regime’s Dilemma

On September 24, Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara’a addressed the UN General Assembly in New York, where he is still on the UN sanctions list for his leadership of an al-Qa’ida affiliate (though he is likely to be de-listed soon). The transformation of al-Shara’a from wanted terrorist into respected statesman has taken place with remarkable speed. Few would have expected a man who celebrated the events of October 7 to enter into negotiations with Israel on a bilateral security agreement.

Should Israel fear UN resolutions?

Peloni:  It is important to grasp that all nations work from a standard of self interest.  This would be true even if all nations were actually some form of practicing democracy, and in fact, the nations which have recently come to the support of the terror regime in Gaza were all democratic nations, and that they now stand on the same side of this issue with Russia, Iran and China.

Many nations cast their votes not on the basis of what is right or wrong, or what is just or unjust, but according to their narrow interests.

Two Tweets Describe 20 Pt Plan As US arbitration between the Saudi-French New York Declaration and Netanyahu’s Day-After doctrine

Peloni:  This is a very important set of tweets by two very well informed and preceptive analysts, David Wurmser and Dan Linnaeus.  They propose that Trump is arbitrating between all parties, while placing important pressure on Hamas from its closest allies in Turkey and Qatar, but leaves the Israeli hard right position on sovereignty out in the cold.  Please read and comment.

Charlie Kirk did not criticize Bibi about “free speech” like @RealCandaceO claimed.

Peloni:  Charlie Kirk’s letter to PM Netanyahu is fully released demonstrating not only Kirk’s reverence and love of Israel, but his sense of incongruity about the lack of a robust and effective public diplomacy campaign with regards to the younger generations.

A Review of Middle East Policy and Forcing the Israeli Prime Minister to Unfairly Eat Crow at the Trump White House…

by Gerald A. Honigman

I had initially meant to focus in this analysis upon a historical evolution of President Trump’s Middle East policy, especially as it has impacted upon an increasingly besieged and beleaguered 9-15 mile wide Israel.

Having been intimately involved in the study of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for over half century at higher academic, professional, and personal levels, I’ve become a somewhat seasoned and astute observer of this strategically important region of the world…

‘Did the Emir of Qatar apologize for Oct 7?’: Israeli politicians criticize Netanyahu’s apology to Qatari PM

Peloni:  The immorality and tragedy of ceding the moral high ground to a  sponsor of terror,  financers of antisemitic protests, and the safehaven of terrorists can not be overstated.  Make no mistake, Netanyahu had nothing for which to apologize other than for having missed the targeted Hamas leaders in Doha.  Indeed, it was not Israeli missiles which caused the death of the Qatari national, but  rather, it was the presence of the Hamas leadership in Doha which brought those missiles down upon Doha.  The masterminds of the October 7 slaughter should not be gifted protection from their planned acts of barbarism, and certainly not from the Israeli govt.  This is not just unseemly, as it is the most disgusting betrayal of the lives which were erased on that fateful day, and no ally would insist on such an act, nor could any benefit balance the shame of the Israeli premiere humbling himself before the Qatari masters.  In the Middle East, such weakness will earn no respect, but rather it portends the promise of even greater and more viscious tragedies in the future.

Coalition and opposition politicians slam Netanyahu for apologizing to ‘Israel’s enemy’

Israeli politicians reacted strongly to the news that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had personally apologized to Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed Al Thani for the attack in Doha earlier this month, which targeted Hamas leaders.
