Iran builds specialized missiles for Hezbollah

By May 5, 2021

Middle East, Foreign Ministry, Iran

As part of its active role in global terrorism, mullah regime in Iran are now building specialized missiles for Hezbollah, writes Hugh Fitzgerald

Iran claims that its citizens are in Syria mainly to help with rebuilding the country’s infrastructure. Israel has good reason to think — and act — otherwise. Asked to comment on reports that Iran was building highly lethal weapons– precision-guided missiles — for Hezbollah, Iran feigned indignation. “Israel Intensifying Air War in Syria Against Iranian Encroachment,” Algemeiner, April 22, 2021:

The Genesis Prize is Bad for the Jews

By Daniel Greenfield, FPM : 05 May 2021 02:29 AM PDT

When the Genesis Prize was created it was marketed as the “Jewish Nobel”. Considering the number of Jewish Laureates, the actual Nobel Prize is more Jewish than the Genesis Prize.

Even in the year of the pandemic, the Genesis Prize isn’t going to scientists or doctors, but keeps going to vapid anti-Israel celebrities and wealthy activists whose Jewishness is a genetic accident of chance, and who use the $1 million prize to fund leftist and anti-Israel causes.

The Two Faces of American Foreign Policy

By Dr. Alex Joffe, BESA

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, image by GPA Photo Archive public domain

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The ongoing crisis in American culture has brought two seemingly unrelated trends to the forefront: advocacy of technocratic expertise aimed at solving global issues, and condemnation of America’s allegedly irredeemable racism. American diplomacy exemplifies these trends through the figures of Secretary of State Antony Blinken and UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield. Both trends are founded in Puritanical moralism, according to which salvation is difficult if not impossible and “crisis” is a tool for accumulating power.

Pakistan enraged over EU parliamentary resolution calling for its repeal of blasphemy laws

BY

The European Union appears to be irrational. On one hand, EU Parliament rebukes Pakistan for its human rights-abusing blasphemy laws, and calls for religious freedom. But on the other hand, EU authorities are infamous for passively accepting assaults by Islamic supremacists to the freedom of speech, the cornerstone of any free society. This constitutes a level of compliance with those same Islamic blasphemy laws.

Online Arabic Daily ‘Rai Al-Youm’: After Years Of Division And Hostility, Saudi Arabia Informs Syrian President Assad It Will Renew Ties

T. Belman. I am told that Saudi Arabia met with Iran due to its strength, not weakness, as reported.  It would appear that the meeting with Syria is reflective of the same strength.  In my recent series of articles about Russia and the ME I raised the prospect of Syria returning to the Arab League and Russia replacing the US.

RUSSIA AND THE NEW ME: Can Russia be induced to use its UN veto to protect Israel  – Part IV

Russia, Saudi Arabia and Iran are coming together to oust USA from the Middle East

Something is going on and the press doesn’t seem to know about it.

MEMRI

On May 3, 2021, the online Arabic daily Rai Al-Youm reported on that day’s visit to Damascus, by a Saudi delegation headed by Saudi General Intelligence Directorate chief Khalid Al-Humaidan. At a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and his special security advisor Ali Mamlouk, the sides agreed to reopen the Saudi Embassy in Damascus, as a first step toward normalizing relations between the two countries. Also according to the daily, the Saudi delegation informed Assad that Saudi Arabia would support Syria’s return to the Arab League, from which it had been suspended in 2011. The daily said that the Saudis were taking this step in the context of a Saudi assessment that the U.S. is likely to return to the JCPOA nuclear agreement with Iran and to rescind its sanctions on it.

Justice, justice shall you pursue: The crisis for American and French justice

France and the USA – two countries struggling with moral and cultural relativism and how justice is to be interpreted in the age of critical race theory and the emphasis on principles of “equity” rather than “equality” before the Law.

By Howard Rotberg, INN      May 04 , 2021 5:00 PM

Judges and officers shall you appoint in all your gates, which the Lord your God gives you, throughout your tribes; and they shall judge the people with just judgment. You shall not pervert judgment; you shall not respect persons, nor take a bribe; for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous. Justice, justice (Tsedek, Tsedek) shall you pursue, that you may live, and inherit the land which the Lord your God gives you. (Deut. 16:18-20)

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s deadline to form a government expired at midnight Tuesday-Wednesday with the Likud leader unable to cobble together a coalition, possibly drawing the country closer to the end of over 12 straight years of being ruled by the Likud leader.

However, the rival bloc of parties could also fail to muster a 61-strong majority, and Netanyahu continues as transitional prime minister for the time being.

Serbian Interior Minister: Unification Of Serbs In One State Has Begun, It Cannot Be Stopped

Serbian Interior Minister: Unification Of Serbs In One State Has Begun, It Cannot Be Stopped

Serbian Minister of Interior Aleksandar Vulin has stated that President Aleksandar Vucic has started the process of unification of all Serbs in the region under one state, and that it cannot be stopped.

Vulin spoke of the need for all Serbs living in different countries in the Western Balkans to come under one country – what he called “the Serbian World” – as the only way to solve the so-called “national question of Serbs”, stop the alleged genocide against Serbs in the region. Moreover, the unification of Serbs would bring peace to the region, he said, and stop the creation of the so-called “Greater Albania”.

The Bleak Biden Way

What is the Biden way? To surveille, monitor, root out, raid, jail, confine, and smear all impediments to fundamental transformation.

By

After a hundred days of President Biden, I think most Americans are now on to what will follow in the next few years.

Joyless Joe

Biden frowns. He grimaces. He occasionally barks and yells as he delivers a gloomy view of America and its people, past and present.

Admit it: We are all racists, then and now, captives of Jim Crow still. Biden needs as many fabricated enemies as he can find; otherwise, his speeches, his demeanor, his agenda are little more than absurdities. They cannot stand or fall on their own merits because they have none. So grumpy Biden, in his latest and final incarnation, is always anti-something, usually anti-Trump, anti-racism, and anti-everything traditional America is for.

Canada Has Been Put, by Vast Borrowing, on a Treadmill to Oblivion

It Should Lead the World Back to Hard Currencies,

By CONRAD BLACK, Special to the Sun | May 3, 2021

Once again, it is my duty to remind readers that our federal government is apparently preparing to call a premature election based on what it believes to be the popularity it has earned for its handling of the COVID crisis.

Apart from per capita fatalities, in which Canada’s performance is strong among advanced countries that provide believable information, the chief measurement of this country’s handling of the pandemic at this stage of the game is the percentage of people who have been fully vaccinated.

Recordings of MK Ayelet Shaked (Yamina) published on Monday evening by Amit Segal of Channel 12 News reveal her true feelings about which kind of government should be formed.

Shaked is heard commenting on the possibility that the mandate to form a government would be given to Naftali Bennett.

“We’ll campaign. Bennett first in a rotation for a year and a half, say, and then Bibi for another two and a half years, that would be best for everyone. If Naftali receives the mandate from the right, he will not go with the left with the mandate from the right in his hand. It will not happen,” she says.

Jordan: The Temple Mount belongs to Muslims only

T. Belman. Mudar Zahran, leader of the Jordanian Opposition Coalition, takes an opposite approach.

First, he says that Jordan Should not control the Wakf and that Israel should appoint Israeli Muslim citizens to manage the Wakf.

Second, he says that he is OK with my suggestion that the Temple Mount be shared. For Muslims, the only thing holy about it is the Al Aksa Mosques so a fence should be built around it and only the land and mosque inside the fence should be solely for Muslims.  The rest of the Temple Mount should be totally under the control of Jews as the entire Temple Mount is holy to Jews.

Jordanian Foreign Ministry says that the entire area of the Al-Aqsa Mosque s a place of worship for Muslims only.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry on Monday sent an official protest memorandum to Israel demanding that it stop what it defined as “the provocations in the Al-Aqsa Mosque” and respect the historical and legal status quo and authority of the Waqf.

The ministry condemned Israel for permitting “extremists to enter the mosque under Israeli security for the last ten days of Ramadan.”

A recent public policy opinion poll released by the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and The Harris Poll revealed that 64% of Americans believe that “cancel culture”—the bullying, boycotting, pressuring, and punishing of fellow citizens for their past and current verbal statements and written views—is a threat to their freedom. 87% agree that it is a problem of varied import.

With just two days to the Likud’s mandate to form a coalition government and the political system no closer to a decision, the assessment is that Yamina leader Naftali Bennett and his fellow party member Ayelet Shaked have decided against joining a government with Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid, New Hope’s Gideon Saar, and the left-wing parties.
