PART 5: IS TRUMP FOR REAL? Is Trump trying to save the ayatollahs?

It really seems that way…

Francisco Gil-White | Jun 17, 2025

If you didn’t read PART 4 yet, you may do so here:

Go to Part 1

  • Trump to Netanyahu: Don’t strike Iran—I’ll negotiate.

  • Trump to the ayatollahs: You must dismantle your nukes entirely—else: war.
  • The ayatollahs drag their feet on negotiations; meanwhile they rush to finish their bomb.
  • Israel strikes Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
  • Trump rushes to… save the ayatollahs!
  • How to make sense of this sequence?

The analysis of politics and geopolitics is difficult only because people try to do it by what the bosses say. If only I had a penny for every true believer in Donald Trump’s ‘pro-Israel’ pose who has quoted to me that man’s ‘pro-Israel’ statements

It’s almost endearing—so naïve.

And they’ll do it again. They’ll tell me that Donald Trump supports Israel’s reply to Iran’s jihadi terrorism. For ‘evidence,’ they’ll again throw his statements at me.

For example, this one, which Trump posted on his Truth Social network:

“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to ‘just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done. I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come – And they know how to use it. Certain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse!”

I’ll concede: the above sounds like strong support for Israel’s strikes on Iran.

But if you think that what Trump says matters, then at least consider everything he says. At a minimum, read to the end of that same Truth Social post (I have marked the remaining portion in bold).

“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to “just do it,” but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse! There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end. Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire. No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. God Bless You All!”

Once you read the whole post, if you are paying attention, you’ll see that…

Trump is attacking Israel

Trump, notice, accuses Israel of causing “great death and destruction”? He calls Israel’s counterattack a “slaughter”? He says it is “brutal”?

Why is he doing that?

An example of a brutal slaughter is what Iran did—via its proxy Hamas—on 7 October 2023, when Hamas tortured to death around 1,200 defenseless Israeli civilians and took 250 hostages.

Israel has replied to that brutal slaughter with a counterattack that protects the lives of enemy civilians, targeting mostly buildings where the Iranian ayatollahs develop nuclear weapons. Ask yourself: these ayatollahs—whose mystical bliss is to enslave or murder all non-Muslim ‘infidels’ on Earth—what do they want nuclear weapons for? Why, to drop them on infidels (that means you)! That’s right: the Israelis are defending us all.

I mean, by golly, how can any Westerner still be confused about this? These ayatollahs are supervillains right out of our comic books! Just look at them:

Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.  (Photo by Iranian Government. – https://ru.irna.ir/news/3)

But if this were really a comic book, everyone would know already that the Israelis are the good guys. So this is not a comic book. It’s an Orwellian novel: 1984. Because everything has become its opposite: war is peace, freedom is slavery, heroes are monsters.

This is how, after suffering October 7, the gallant Israelis have replied to the street-gutter reptiles who ordered the brutal slaughter of Jewish civilians, and who then rushed to assemble a nuclear weapon to finish off the Jews.

But the Israelis are the ones accused of ‘genocide’!

That’s antisemitic psychological warfare and Trump plays that—and us—like a fiddle. Deploying his immense authority, he puts the image of an alleged Israeli ‘brutal slaughter’—so injurious to Israel’s prestige—in the minds of millions who read his posts.

  1. What Madeline doesn’t get is that the days of single issue politics around Israel are finally over. The biggest issues in the world: Antisemitism, the Mullah nuclear threat to Jews, Ukraine Neonazis resurrection and Neocons poison, the unstoppable Global Warming issue, the virus, and the exposure of Starmer on a heap of fronts…never a single issue…all interrelated

The ruling capitalist order is wobbling

And it’s leader Trump this morning on 6am BBC news says he may and he may not do his plane attack on this dangerous nuclear mountain

Why because he still wants to save the mullah regime even now

His role in betrayal of Israel and Jews is running parallel with his continued sticking the knife into the back of Putin and the Russian war of liberation against the Neonazis menace which commandeered by brutal force Ukraine from February 2014 on

An end to single issue politics. Keep your eye on the.ball and the only lasting solution…end capitalism

  2. I do not care about what Trump did in buying houses. I care about our future.

Nobody on israpundit has commented on the Tucker Carlson interview with Ted Cruz.

This shows the reality of our world.

“Tucker confronts Ted Cruz over his support for regime change in Iran ”

    https://youtu.be/smemFVe0l5E?si=a3S5cTPG47O-vWTG

But it was driven wide open when Tucker confronted Cruz over his and NATO war against Russia.

Here Tucker Carlson has a very valid position in comparison to the Neocon Cruz. This is what this guy Peloni aided by Zorn has striven for all they are worth to hide.

It also leads into Israeli leaders playing treacherous to Israel roles in recent history, especially Yugoslavia, Iraq and Libya.

Peloni is not interested in the truth.

The side of Carlson opposing the Neocons war against Russia must be brought forwards rather than obscured

Otherwise we get things hidden from us wherever we are from

    Big Big things are hidden

  3. Report: Trump approved Iran strike, but awaits Tehran’s next move
The Wall Street Journal reports that President Trump has approved attack plans on Iran but is delaying a final order as he monitors Israeli strikes and seeks diplomatic resolution. Meanwhile, a senior Iranian official says Iran would accept Trump’s offer to meet soon.

This is the headline from an report in today’s Arutz Sheva. Trump sto;; thinks he can resolve the conflict from diplomacy and a deal, He just doesn;t get it that you can’t make a deal with these people because they have no respect for any agreements they make. It reminds me of Halifax and Chamberlain in World War II who kept proposing that Britain make a deal with Hitler for a negotiated peace, even while WWII was ragomg and British cities werte undergoing the blitz’

Before he became a presidential candidate, Trump’s career experience had been totally in the New York real estate market. In New York real estate, two companies will become rivals for a bid from a real estate owner or developer and compete furious ly for the contract. But at some point, when neither of them gets everything they want, the competitors negotiate a deal to split the business or form some sort of partnership to share the contract. As a result of this career experience, Trump thinks that any dispute can be resolved through negotiations and a deal. He just doesn’t get it that dealing with a fanatical, hate-filled regime is completely unlike a business rival in New York City. Unlike New York real estate developers, Hate-filled governments never keep their promises, and there are no law courts that can hold them to them and fine them if they vio;ate their contract, as there are in New York City.

    • He just doesn’t get it that dealing with a fanatical, hate-filled regime is completely unlike a business rival in New York City.

I agree. Luckily, the Mullahs have thus far forced him to deal with them in a far different manner. Trump has acknowledged that it will be hard for the Iranians to get out of Iran to restart negotiations while the war is ongoing, and it isn’t going to stop to allow them the means to leave. So perhaps there will be no further negotiations after all. We will see.

    • Exactly. Enough already with this BS negotiation talk. It is the left’s only tool because they are too squemish to face hard realities, like some people really want to kill you, no matter what.

  4. It looks very much as if this wily old man in the WH is counting on Israel to clean up in Iran. There is a major open question that Biden asked regarding Gaza: what comes next? Israel will not barge in to govern Iran after the Ayatollahs are gone and my guess is that everyone is hoping for a Marshal plan. Probably Macron or Mertz or even Starmer would be happy to take over Iran until such time as they get used to it. They will be very happy that they can blame Israel for everything that needs fixing. The second question, much like the first is: will Israel let them do it free of charge?

    • @dreuveni

There is a major open question that Biden asked regarding Gaza: what comes next?

Keep your eye on Trump. When he declares victory over the Mullahs, he will have an incredible pull over the remaining Arab states. Trump wants Gaza for the US. Israel wants the Pals out of Gaza. Trump will force the issue which he raised when he announced his Gaza plan, ie that the Pals should go to Egypt and Jordan. Neither Sisi nor Abdullah can allow this, but Sisi’s public will support his rejection of the Pals while the Jordanians will do the opposite. This opens a perfect window into making the JO operational, presuming Trump hasn’t changed his mind, and as of a few weeks ago, he made it clear that he had not.

It looks very much as if this wily old man in the WH is counting on Israel to clean up in Iran.

This is the embodiment of the Trump doctrine.

      • “When he declares victory over the Mullahs…” This is a pronoun problem. It should be “they” meaning Israel. What has Trump done that lets him try to steal thunder from Israel?

        • @Madeline

What has Trump done that lets him try to steal thunder from Israel?

Well, your not wrong, but Trump will in fact be claiming victory, and it will be an important victory when this is actually achieved. Notably, only the US has the B52s and the pilots to fly it and the bombs to drop from it, so it might be argued that this is what gives him the right to steal the thunder from Israel as you suggest. Importantly too, he has shown Israel respect enough to arm her to the teeth, making any victory in this campaign possible at all. While plagiarism is the makings of the best form of praise, Trump seems to be doing so in spades as he also claims air superiority over Iran and is even now using Bibi’s personal catch phrase of ‘total victory’ as his end goal.

What remains both relevant and important beyond these facts, though, is that the Iranian regime is on the brink of complete collapse with no one to save them, and it really was due to the coordination between the actions of Trump and Bibi which made this possible, oh, and also the predictable intransigence of the Mullahs as well, thank G_d!

But the costs of the war and the threats endured in rendering victory over the Iranian Twelvers was borne by the Israeli people alone, who have been the true victims and heroes of this campaign.

    • Crown Prince Reza Pahlevi had offered himself and his people to come back and serve as an interim team for democratic elections. He already has people pledging support for him. Check out tousi.tv and today’s FrontPagemag.com.

  5. WSJ reveals that Trump has approved plan to attack Iran and is holding the order to go based on whether Iran will give up its nuclear program. Sounds like more of a conditional surrender than a unconditional surrender. The Mullahs must go!

  6. The sharp end of all of this is Russia.

Capitalism can and will work with the Jewish State

But with Russia and China never

    This Madeline doesn’t get this

“protecting/not protecting the mullahs, Trump seems to have a lot, I mean really a lot! of respect for authorities, men with power. Could this be just stupidity, or an extension of his narcissim? ”

    Not with Putin lady.

    Why not… Russia 1917

  7. Updates: Don’t worry, Mr. Trump. Israel is cornering the Ayatollah, and making sure he gets out of the country. Or killed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pBUbT3T3Bk

Also, some military commentators have been saying for a couple of days now that Israel may be able to dismantle Fordow without the US mega bomb. They could flood it through air vents, or drop in a gas that would react with the nuke equipment to disable it. Or commandos could storm in and take control.

Trump may have heard about these options and developments and is just waiting for Israel to complete the demilitarization. And then take credit, as if the US did it, as he did when he wrote that “WE” had air supremacy in Iran. No. Israel did.

  8. These are good questions being raised. Adding to them, on the home front, why hasn’t Trump taken action against sharia enclaves, like Epic City in Texas? Instead, he has ICE chasing Mexican lettuce pickers across the fields where they are working. Terrible optics; terrible misplaced focus. But it does look like he is doing a Big Deal to his emotional fans.

As to protecting/not protecting the mullahs, Trump seems to have a lot, I mean really a lot! of respect for authorities, men with power. Could this be just stupidity, or an extension of his narcissim?

Similarly, his apparent blind spot about Islam, i.e. Qatar deals and hands off enclaves at home, could be the general blind spot inculcated by jihadis as Islamophobia to be avoided lest one looks uncultured.
I’m trying giving him the benefit of the doubt, but there is a lot to be explained.

I would like to see reporters ask him, on TV, if he has read the Koran, understands sharia, knows what the Muslim Brotherhood plans for America, and so forth. He will say NO. The reporter must press the point and spell out what is at stake.

    • @Madeline

Trump seems to have a lot, I mean really a lot! of respect for authorities, men with power.

It is Trump’s perspective that the Russians should choose their leaders just as do the Americans, and by whatever means is amenable to the Russian people. If the faux democracy which exists in both Russia and Ukraine are good enough for the Russians and Ukrainians, respectively, who is Trump, a mere foreigner from half the world away, to order something different. Notably, with the US paying for Ukraine’s entire govt, and most of its military and all of its arms, this would give the US a greater responsibility/authority to intervene as he has only alluded to doing in recent months.

why hasn’t Trump taken action against sharia enclaves, like Epic City in Texas?

Indeed, why hasn’t he? It is more than optics as the issue of American liberty is very much in play in this gambit.

  9. Everything Gil White has said about the deceit of the Jewish people about Trump hoodwinking them has got it’s parallel in Ukraine where Trump has done everything to hoodwink the Russian people.

The threat hanging over Russia all the time was nuclear threat that is totally clear and it was Russia who perforce acted carefully to prevent it moving into nuclear confrontation.

And where would Israel and the Iranian women be if it took his Trumpian deceitful word in number one above

“Trump to Netanyahu: Don’t strike Iran—I’ll negotiate. ”

From global warming to virus to these wars there is nothing between Biden and Trump. He’s a con artist.
