Proud to be an Israeli

The 700 Club produced a series of videos titled Made in Israel. One video for each of the following:

    1. agriculture,

    2. water,

    3. medical,

    4. environment and

    5. technology.

In the spirit of Tikkun Olam Israel shares her knowledge and innovations with the world.

To watch the videos makes an Israeli incredibly proud of his country and its people. Any young Jew living in the diaspora can’t help but be attracted to Israel as the best place to live and work.

There is no denying who CBN is and what it stands for. All reprehensible. None of this can be discerned in the videos. So the question is, do I stay clear of them entirely or does the posting of the videos with your comments serve to advise our readers of what they stand for. In other words, is there any good in doing so?

You’ve heard the expression of “give them a hand and they take an arm?”

I have told you often they may support even in their way love Israel for their eschatological beliefs but they do not love Jews as Jews and are the mortal enemies of Judaism. Their money has already corrupted our politicians, rabbis and many Jewish charities who have now become dependent on them. There are genuinely naive Jews who support them as being benign and then there are those who know the truth like “Ivri” but apparently is either on their payroll or have decided that the gain outweighs the pain. The stronger the inroads they are allowed to make in Israel the more harm they do and it will make it harder to combat them in the future.

We cannot depend on the wise and good discernment of Individual Jews to know the difference, therefore out of self protection and not adding to the danger they present: I submit you should ignore even their most positive messages as they are no better than a sophisticated honey trap for the uninformed and ignorant Jews.

Where it up to me they would all be barred from Israel… Even Ellen does not go that far, but in the end it will come to that.

  2. Ted,
David Ha’Ivri welcomes missionaries to the Shomron and grants interviews to “rabbi”/pastors affiliated with Jews for Jesus. Official fundraising bodies for the the Shomron Regional Council regularly solicit and encourage the very same entities and personalities which actively engaged in efforts to proselytize Israel’s most vulnerable sectors. There is a real problem here and it needs to be addressed. We have a report coming out on this shortly and please know that I and the rest of the Jewishisrael staff are a committed and active part of the national camp and have spoken on behalf of the communities in Yehuda and Shomron.

Stakelbeck, too, promotes messianic Judaism and missionary figures on his show. Not long ago he pulled off something terribly disingenuous when he used his blog to present pastor “rabbi” Jonathan Cahn as the keynote speaker at a Presidential Prayer Breakfast (even Pat Robertson admitted on the CBN 700 Club that the event was unofficial and not associated with the White House)
Stakelbeck went on to promote the ranting of Cahn who used the event to proclaim Israel as sinners and jesus as the only way. It’s something to behold as “rabbi” Cahn begins by bashing the ancient Israelites and concludes with a way over-the-top witnessing of jesus. Enjoy the clip. Listen from the 32.36 mark till the end.

You answered your own question – before you asked the question. Quote:

“There is no denying who CBN is and what it stands for. All reprehensible.”

That’s how you should have approached this article. It should have been entitled “Who needs these two-faced ‘friends’!!!”. Seriously. Our people lose much more than what we gain from these soul-sucking christian huckster vampires.

“All right, then; I did not make myself a burden to you, but, trickster that I am, I caught you by trickery.” – 2 Corinthians 12:16

Thank you for drawing our attention to their reality.

  5. Ted, the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) regularly offers programming which is an affront to Jews and a frontal attack on Judaism. CBN financially backs messianic missionary endeavors in Israel, promotes messianic rights, and has depicted Israel as a nation which persecutes Christians. They give bombastic coverage to missionary events in Jerusalem which calls for the conversion of Jews and the regularly encourage a crossing of lines between Christianity and Judaism.

  6. CBN.

That would be Pat Robertson’s baby.

It’s highly improbable that we would have found Rabbi Hirsch or Rabbi Soloveitchik rubbing shoulders with the likes of Pat Robertson, who just last Thursday declared on his popular CBN 700 club show that “the poor Jews” can’t understand the source of anti-Semitism because they don’t believe in Jesus or the devil – “it’s too cosmic for most of them [the Jews] to grasp.”Losing Judaism in the Pursuit of Commonality

Ted, Just what and whom are you promoting?!
