The Egyptian government doesn’t want even more people on the public dole than the huge number who are are unemployed and receiving public subsidies already. But worst of all from the Egyptian point of view, Gazans in Egypt could easily be recruited by the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist organizations in Egypt to participate in their armed insurrection against the Egyptian government and carry out assassinations of Egyptian leaders, including al-Sisi himself.
