Report: Prime Minister Unwilling to Torpedo Coalition Over Talks

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu addressed the current crisis in the coalition for the first time Monday, according to Ma’ariv, although his remarks currently remain in the context of closed conversations between ministers.

“I do not want new elections and do not want the current crisis,” Netanyahu stated, according to the daily. “But I am not going to commit suicide and I am not willing to turn the world upside down to change [Naftali] Bennett’s opinion on the issues.” [..]
