Reports of Assad’s plane having crashed??

Peloni:  In fact, I would be greatly surprised if Assad had not made his escape from Syria some days ago.  Notably, the report of Assad’s supposed demise came hours after Trump posted his opposition to any support of Assad’s regime.

Also, while the victory of the Turkish backed Jihadi rebels will significantly diminish the Iranian radical Shia axis’ control over Lebanon, severing Iran’s land bridge to that failed state, the rising threat from the Turkish radical Sunni axis should not be ignored.  While less threatening than the wealthy, oil rich, near-nuclear state of Iran, the nature of these Turkish backed Jihadi villains should be understood to be both real and significant, for Israel and all those who are within easy reach of this disturbing ideology.  While many of the captured masses in Syria seem oblivious as to the fate which they are currently celebrating as the ‘freeing of Syria’, they will come to see that their current plight is still nothing about which to celebrate and that Syria still remains yet to be free.  Unfortunately, Syria has simply been passed from the dominating control of one colonialist Islamist regime to another.  So the call to free Syria still remains to be fulfilled, and that struggle will continue.

President Joe Biden delivered a short address from the White House on Sunday, claiming credit for the toppling of the regime of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, who was ousted by rebels after a long and brutal reign lasting decades.

Biden claimed that a combination of U.S. policies — isolating Assad; tying Russia down in Ukraine; and allowing Israel freedom of action against Iran and its Hezbollah proxy — weakened the regime and left it without defenders.

Biden is correct concerning this point.

MOSCOW — Russia’s Foreign Ministry claimed Sunday that Bashar Assad had left Syria after negotiations with rebel groups, and gave “instructions” to “transfer power peacefully.”

In a post on the Telegram messaging app on Sunday, the ministry said Moscow had not directly participated in these talks. It also said it has been following the “dramatic events” in Syria “with extreme concern.”

It also said Russian troops stationed in Syria have been put on high alert and that as of early afternoon Sunday, there was “no serious threat” to the security of Russia’s military bases there.

    No plane? Awww! :\

  4. Trump writes

“There was no reason for Russia to be there in the first place. They lost all interest in Syria because of Ukraine, where close to 600,000 Russian soldiers lay wounded or dead, in a war that should never have started, and could go on forever,” he added.

Essentially America, NATO and Britain are behind the war which trump implicitly lies about responsibility. Trump was first to arm Zelensky with stingers.

Trump doesn’t state the real truth about neocons who broke the promises made to Gorbachev and moved to involve Ukraine as was the American strategy

Add to that the Ukrainian Nazis making war on russian speaking civilians from especially February 2014, but stepped up to genocide until Putin launched action to save civilians life…a real genocide. He was forced to go in.

In recent days Peloni was using the word, a la BBC, “Rebels”

Now his first warning what these “rebels” really are

Now the minorities in Syria if Assad is dead are left at the mercy of Islamic Jihad

Peloni bitter to the end would not unite behind Assad and Israel and Jews will be paying the price for his bigotry

  5. According to Flightradar24, the Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft took off from Damascus on 8 December, just before rebels captured the city. It continued on a northwesterly flight path across the country, towards its west coast, before banking towards Homs.[2] It rapidly lost altitude before disappearing from the radar.[3][4][5][6] The identity of those on board remains unknown, though reports speculated Bashar al-Assad may have been fleeing the country on the plane.[5][6][1]

  6. No comment on the plane thing.

    Donald Trump said,

“Assad is gone. He has fled his country. His protector, Russia, Russia, Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, was not interested in protecting him any longer,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

“There was no reason for Russia to be there in the first place. They lost all interest in Syria because of Ukraine, where close to 600,000 Russian soldiers lay wounded or dead, in a war that should never have started, and could go on forever,” he added.

Trump stated that “Russia and Iran are in a weakened state right now, one because of Ukraine and a bad economy, the other because of Israel and its fighting success. Likewise, Zelenskyy and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop the madness. They have ridiculously lost 400,000 soldiers, and many more civilians.”

Addressing the war between Russia and Ukraine, Trump stated, “There should be an immediate ceasefire and negotiations should begin. Too many lives are being so needlessly wasted, too many families destroyed, and if it keeps going, it can turn into something much bigger, and far worse. I know Vladimir well. This is his time to act. China can help. The World is waiting!”
