The “Sea People” Philistines arrived in the area around Gaza from the Aegean islands around Crete in the early 12th century BCE.
The ancient Egyptians wrote about them, and they became especially famous in the accounts provided by the Hebrew Bible.
They were the Hebrews’ main rival in the land of Israel and adjacent areas, and the accounts of the young shepherd from the tribe of Judah, born in Bethlehem, David, killing the Philistine champion, Goliath. and the Hebrew judge Samson falling prey to the Philistine’s beautiful Delilah are perhaps some of the best accounts we have of these people.
“Philistines” were first and foremost the bitter enemies of Israelites/Hebrews/Iudaeans/Jewish People…besides the Amelekites.

Again, when a cowardly enemy purposely embeds itself among the civilian population, this is extremely hard to do.
Millions of pounds of food and other necessities have been trucked into Gaza provided by Israel to its enemies, not including what other sources have provided. Much has been intercepted and hijacked by Hamas, which supplies its own people first, and then sells the rest to the civilians for inflated prices to purchase arms and such with.
An army practicing genocide doesn’t behave this way.
If the Macklemores and film producers of the world want to shoot a real film about genocide, interviewing victims and such, here’s a good starting point, accompanied by similar mass slaughter by Arabs and other Arabized jihadis…

The above is just a small sampling of what genocide truly looks like.
Hopefully thinking people will not take the easy path and simply jump on the hate and vilify anti-Israel bandwagon, but will carefully examine all sides to this tragic conflict and situation.
The bottom line is this, and always has been…
Until there’s a seismic change in the overall supremacist, rejectionist Arab mindset which allows for no justice but its own in the entire region of MENA and adjacent areas, no peace will come to the region, and Israel will continue to have to do whatever it takes to thrive, not just survive, living among those dedicated to its annihilation.
The onus is on the Arabs, not Israel, to bring about the necessary changes.
