‘Rewarded for failure’: London Mayor Sadiq Khan knighted by King Charles

Peloni:  The ties between the globalists and the Islamist are on open display in England.  How sad, how tragic, and how dangerous.

Never mind that London has fallen on Sadiq Khan’s watch, with violent migrant crime soaring. Jews are also fleeing Khan’s London in record numbers due to antisemitism, and Khan banned cab drivers from flying English flags. Yet he was rewarded by King Charles — who opened Windsor Castle to Muslims for a Ramadan iftar dinner in April — with a prestigious British honor.

Khan is destroying London from within. In 2018, Khan invested $2,000,000 (USD) in taxpayer money in a police hunt against “offensive communication.”

He also has a noteworthy history:

  • He has endorsed anti-Semites and defended 9/11 terrorists. He has even defended an al Qaeda member.
  • He has often purveyed the victimology narrative, to the point of cautioning Westerners to play by the rules of Islamic supremacists, so as to not upset them to the point of joining jihadi groups.
  • He has called deadly jihad attacks “part and parcel” of life in a big city.
  • He has called progressive Muslims who want to live in harmony and peace with Westerners “uncle Toms.”

The knighting of Khan has led to a backlash. Khan and King Charles have one thing in common: disrespect for Britain and British history. The tradition of knighthood has been rendered a complete mockery.

“Sadiq Khan is knighted by the King despite Londoners’ furious objections that he is being ‘rewarded for failure,’” Daily Mail, June 10, 2025:

Sadiq Khan received his knighthood at Buckingham Palace today despite a backlash at ‘reward for failure’.

The London Mayor was given the honour by the King at Buckingham Palace, saying the monarch was ‘chuffed’ to bestow it.

However, the Tories have condemned the award claiming that Sir Sadiq has not managed to get a grip on violent crime in the capital.

Sir Sadiq has been Mayor since 2016, becoming the first person to win a third term in the role.

Before that he was Labour MP for Tooting, serving as a junior minister under Gordon Brown’s premiership.

The knighthood for political and public service was announced in the New Year Honours, but was only formally bestowed by the King today.

Afterwards, Sir Sadiq posted on Facebook: ‘The London promise: if you work hard, and get a helping hand, you can achieve anything.

‘Immensely proud to receive a knighthood from His Majesty The King today. Growing up on a council estate in Tooting, I never could have imagined that I’d one day receive this great honour while serving as the Mayor of London.

‘It’s a truly humbling moment for myself and my family, and one that I hope inspires others to believe in the incredible opportunities that our great capital offers.

‘I’ll forever be honoured to serve the city that I love – and will continue to do all I can to build a fairer, safer, greener and more prosperous London for everyone.’

Sir Sadiq said he joked with the King about who was a bigger workaholic and the monarch ‘was very chuffed that he managed to personally give me this honour’.

He said: ‘I have got the pleasure of working closely with the King.…

Although Mamdani, a representative within the New York State Assembly, entered New York City’s mayoral race as a longshot, polls indicate that the progressive firebrand has made significant strides among the electorate in the past month. Mamdani trails former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo by a margin of 51 percent to 49 percent among likely voters, according to a May 23-26 Emerson College poll.

In the closing stretch of the Democratic primary, Mamdani’s views on Israel and antisemitism have been increasingly scrutinized. Mamdani, a member of the far-left Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) organization, has been under pressure by anti-Israel activists to adopt a more adversarial posture against the Jewish state.

During an event hosted by the UJA-Federation of New York last month, Mamdani also declined to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.

New York City, which is home to the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, has experienced a major spike in antisemitic incidents since Hamas’s invasion of southern Israel, amid the ensuing war in Gaza.

Jihad Jew-Hating NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani Defends Boycotting Israel, Vows to Arrest Netanyahu At Synagogue Event

In the city blown up on 9/11……

In the city with the largest number of Holocaust survivors in the world…

A NYC synagogue hosted NYC Mayoral candidate and Jew hating jihadi, Zohran Mandani.

Zohran Mamdani founded a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter at Bowdoin College, has attacked Israel for more than decades, and continues to denounce Israel. He speaks at pro-Hamas marches under the banner, “There is only one solution: Intifada Revolution.” A synagogue. This is who the shul invites. Despicable. They would never have colleagues of mine – Robert Spencer, Dr. Andrew Bostom, Ibn Warraq, Bat Ye’or et al – the world’s leading scholars on Islamic Jew hatred but they roll out the red carpet for Jew hating jihadis. Time and time again, handful of synagogues that invited me to speak subsequently canceled, caving to pressure from Hamas-tied groups like CAIR, MAS, ISNA etc.

American Jewish leadership is a disgrace. Jewicidals.

The rampant spread of antisemitism in America was the inevitable outcome of such abject cowardice and submission.

I am ashamed for my people.

The biased and discriminatory adoption of Democrat-rigged ‘ranked choice voting’ makes this terrorist’s election not just possible but probable. Take for example, ranked choice voting in Alaska, 60% of voters cast ballots for Republicans. A Democrat won.

If a candidate fails to garner “an outright majority (more than 50 percent),” the candidate who has the “fewest first-preference votes would be eliminated, with their ‘votes’ redistributed based on the second preference of those individual ballots.” Such a process “would continue until the final two candidates, or when one candidate reached a majority.”

Ranked-choice voting can potentially lead to “someone getting elected to office that only has a minuscule amount of support from the electorate,” he said. “If [candidates] have problematic positions, it can make it very easy to hide those [from voters].”

NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani Defends BDS Support, Vows to Arrest Netanyahu During Synagogue Event
By Corey Walker, Alegemeiner, June 10, 2025:

New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani again defended his support for the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel and his promise to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an event at the B’nai Jeshurun synagogue in Manhattan on Sunday.

“I’ve seen the efficacy of non-violent movements in creating compliance in international law, specifically with South Africa. That is what brought me to support BDS, and what I’ve said is that one need not visit Israel to stand up for Jewish New Yorkers,” Mamdani said, referring to the international movement that seeks to isolate Israel from the international community as a step toward its eventual elimination.

Mamdani said that he would prefer to combat antisemitism by engaging with New York City Jews on a personal basis and that expressing support for Israel is not necessary to be an ally of the Jewish community.

“Ultimately, the focus of our mayor should be on the issues of New York City, at hand,” he argued.

Mamdani then defended his vow to arrest Netanyahu if he visits New York, comparing the Israeli premier to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“My answer is the same whether we are speaking about Vladimir Putin or Netanyahu. I think that this should be a city that is in compliance with international law,” Mamdani said. “And we have seen, other countries across the world that are signatories of the ICC [International Criminal Court] that they would honor that same request, being Canada or other countries in Europe, and their honoring of it meant that Netanyahu did not travel there.”

Mamdani acknowledged that the United States is not a party to the Rome Statute, which established the ICC, but argued that “there are times where courage is required,” comparing his desire to arrest Netanyahu to California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s decision to defy federal law and issue marriage certificates to same-sex couples as mayor of San Francisco.

“What I am trying to showcase is a belief that international law is something that should be honored, should be respected, and something that we should actually bring our city into compliance with,” Mamdani said.

US and Israeli leaders have blasted the ICC’s decision to issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu over alleged war crimes in Gaza, rejecting the allegations as false and decrying the court for drawing a moral equivalence between Israel’s democratically elected leaders and the heads of Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group that launched the ongoing war in Gaza with its massacre across southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2o23.

Moreover, the progressive official also sparked outrage after engaging in a series of provocative actions, such as appearing on the podcast of anti-Israel, pro-Hamas influencer Hasan Piker and vowing to arrest Netanyahu.

During an event hosted by the UJA-Federation of New York last month, Mamdani also declined to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.

“I believe that Israel has a right to exist with equal rights for all,” Mamdani said in a carefully worded response when asked, sidestepping the issue of Israel’s existence specifically as a “Jewish state.”

During last week’s New York City Democratic mayoral debate, he once again refused to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state, sparking immediate backlash among the other candidates.
Mamdani has made anti-Israel activism a cornerstone of his political career.

New York City, which is home to the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, has experienced a major spike in antisemitic incidents since Hamas’s invasion of southern Israel, amid the ensuing war in Gaza.
