We all know that the Russians hacked DNC computers, intervening in the 2016 election in an effort to subvert our democracy and help Donald Trump win the presidency. How do we know this? The Washington Post, New York Times, ABC, CBS, CNN and the rest of the mainstream media told us that all seventeen intelligence agencies – who knew we had so many? – concluded that the Russians interfered with our democratic process. “The most trusted news” failed to mention, however, that not a single intelligence agency has released a shred of actual evidence proving that the Russians “hacked” the DNC.
But the hostile and condescending mainstream media, obsessively geared to uncovering a large-scale malfeasance that would derail the Trump presidency, is not interested in evidence. A curious blend of bitterness, anger and disbelief drive the media to embrace a myth in order to explain the Democrats’ loss. Since it could not possibly be the Democratic Party’s socialist ideology and/or its dishonest and deceitful candidate, the only politically acceptable alibi was outside influence.
Ideological passion compelled the media to replace the ancient Roman tenet of “Asserted without proof shall be denied without proof” with Lenin’s maxim, “A lie told often enough becomes the truth,” and run with the story.
We are going to find the truth by comparing the lies.
Lie #1. Russians interfered with the elections.
What we know for a fact is that the DNC fell for a simple password fishing scam that could have been pulled off by a 14-year-old kid. The Feds’ so-called damning report on Russian election hacking is full of insinuations but offers no evidence that could have led them to the conclusion of Russian involvement.
Furthermore, the report was based on findings of the intelligence community, which is infamous for colossal failures in the past. Nevertheless, the propaganda blindsided even former Vice President Dick Cheney, a victim of intelligence failure himself, who said, “There’s no question that there was a very serious effort made by Mr. Putin and his government, his organization, to interfere in major ways with our basic fundamental democratic processes.”
Although “there’s no question,” both houses of Congress and the FBI are investigating Russian involvement. If there is no question, then why bother to investigate?
It is apparent that we have issued a verdict and punished Moscow with additional sanctions before investigations were concluded.
Lie #2. Interference with the elections is an act of war.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney, who apparently has accepted the role of warrior without a cause, said Monday, March 27, that Russia’s attempts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election could be considered an “act of war” against the United States. This is preposterous.
If interference in another country’s election process is an act of war, then the U.S. has a long and sordid history of such acts, notably in Russia. During the 1996 Russian presidential election the U.S. government, in order to “save Russian democracy,” organized and financed the campaign of Boris Yeltsin, who outspent his opponent, communist Vladimir Zyuganov, by at least a hundred to one. Overall, the U.S. spent billions of dollars to support Yeltsin. Similarly, according to a congressional investigation, the State Department provided a $350,000 grant to OneVoice Movement to sabotage the re-election of Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel in 2013. In an effort to pry Ukraine away from a close relationship with Russia in 2014, the United States spent, according to Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, $5 billion to overthrow a democratically elected government and replace it with a pro-Western administration.
Lie #3. The interference affected the outcome of our presidential elections.
Although we enter the area of pure speculation here, what the American people learned from the so-called hacking is relevant: the emails exposed rampant corruption within the DNC and the U.S. government.
We learned that the Democratic Party conspired against Bernie Sanders to ensure the nomination of Hillary Clinton.
We learned that CNN did not “keep them honest”; on the contrary, CNN was not only dishonest, it was also an active participant in the conspiracy to elect Hillary Clinton. For one thing, the network provided debate questions to Clinton’s campaign in advance.
We learned that Hillary Clinton is devoid of shame, the ability to take responsibility and any semblance of honesty when she admitted to having two mutually exclusive positions on issues, one public and the other private.
We learned that as secretary of state she ran an illegal unsecured server and then lied about it.
We learned that the so-called Uranium One deal that gave Russia ownership of one-fifth of U.S. uranium deposits netted the Clinton Foundation $130 million.
We learned that Bill Clinton was paid obscene amounts of money after his wife became secretary of state. Just for one speech in Moscow, he made $700,000, paid for by Russian investment bank Sberbank at the time of the Uranium One deal.
We learned that a brother of John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, received 75,000 shares in a Russian energy company for “services rendered” before the election.
Et cetera, et cetera. The list of shenanigans is beyond the capacity of one article.
We will never know whether such revelations affected the outcome of the elections. I hope they did. The truest test of democracy is accepting the truth; and truth demands acknowledgment regardless of its origin. Truth is a pillar of our democracy. Making the DNC emails public, regardless of whether it was Putin or someone else provided a great service to this nation in helping the American people make an informed decision.
Our second president, John Adams, said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.” The American people did not believe that Hillary Clinton was worthy of protecting and defending our Constitution. That IS the truth.

Lefitism/Marxism knows no moral boundaries, anything goes as ling as they win and if they lose they undermine, inhibit progress, lie, slander, discredit and cheat. Because this is who they are. Evil, greedy, selfish and thoroughly unethical and unscrupulous.
Russia is only the pretext for DEMONIZATION! That ‘s how the Alinsky principle starts.
For the left, belief is fact!
In the history of “humanity” many have acted on believes and millions after millions have been butchered and continue to be butchered.
Like the Islamists who are at war with the rest of the world, now we have the left that is at war with the rest of America.
The left now and then (communist revolution) has always been involved in the falsification of facts to suit their goals.
Great article!
