Seth Rogen And The Hollywood Hebrew Problem…Again

by Gerald A. Honigman

Before starting, let’s clarify something right from the start.

Seth Rogen is mostly upset with Israel because he claims he wasn’t told earlier by Jewish teachers that some Arabs and other people also lived in the land which would become Israel Reborn in 1948, which the Ottoman Turkish Empire ruled for about 4-5 centuries prior to it becoming a territory under the British Empire’s control as one of its two Mandates awarded to it by the League of Nations after WWI.

Earlier still, nothing but a succession of one empire after another came to rule the 4,000 year old ancestral homeland of the Jewish People since they, as Judaeans, rose up in revolt for their freedom and independence at least four major times against both the Roman and its successor Christian Byzantine Empire, clear up until the invasion in the 7th century C.E. by Arab colonizing, settling, genocidal hordes arriving from a fast desiccating Arabian Peninsula, spreading their new faith in literally all directions out of their desert lands—stealing and forcibly acquiring and Arabizing other non-Arab peoples’s ancestral homelands in search of greener pastures. Those lwho didn’t submit were usually slaughtered…

Did any of Seth’s teachers explain this history to him? How about other Jewish Hollywood folks like Joaquin Phoenix’s? Tony Kushner’s? Bette Midlers? Richard Dreyfus’s?

Returning to the land of Israel, which requires a magnifying glass to find on a world globe, numerous sources indeed reported that the land was sparsely populated in the 19th century, including Mark Twain in his Innocents Abroad.

But what the Seth Rogens fail to realize is that on the over 6 million square miles of territory which ARABISM came to claim for itself, scores of millions of native non-Arab peoples also resided—and they had their ancestral homelands conquered, settled, colonized, and forcibly Arabized and Islamized, often resulting in these other peoples having their own cultures and languages outlawed…

Who’s pounding their chests with guilt over these far more disturbing facts?

It should be a requirement that before you decide to defame your own people and religious beliefs, a person should study a helluva lot more about what the actual facts indeed are. Wishful thinking on my part, however.’

In the Mandate of Palestine’s case, the Arab dimension was indeed addressed—unlike what happened to scores (if not hundreds) of millions of Arabism’s victims, whose interests and aspirations have been simply ignored—Copts, Kurds, native but non-Arab Lebanese, Amazigh/Kabyle/“Berbers,” black Africans, Hindus, Sikhs. Buddhists, Assyrian and Chaldean Christians, and others as well.

Transjordan was gifted to Arab nationalism (ARABISM) by lopping off almost 80 % of the original 1920 total Mandate in 1922, thus leaving Jews with about 20% of the land.

Arabs were subsequently offered—UNLIKE ANY OF THEIR OWN CONQUERED VICTIMS—yet another partition to divide the 20% left again, in 1947 and other times as well.

Jews would have wound up with about 12-14 % of the Mandate had Arabs not turned these offers down.

Arabs refused because in their supremacist eyes, only they and they alone are entitled to any justice in the conquered lands of the Dar ul-Islam. And despite taqiyyah claims to the contrary, most Arabs were indeed newcomers (settlers) into the ancestral homeland of the Jewish People themselves…

And for these self-centered hegemonic folks, Jews are supposedly to feel guilt about?

Only in the Indian subcontinent’s Hindu and Sikh population’s case was there even an attempt made to address jihadi Arabism’s victims with the partition of. India into one Muslim state, Pakistan, and another predominantly Hindu nation in 1947, followed by yet another award to the Dar ul-Islam with the creation of Bangladesh later on.

So, while there is no perfect explanation regarding Israel’s Prophetic and necessary resurrection, when compared to what happened to scores of millions of other native peoples in MENA in order to create the almost two dozen states that Arabs already possess, Israel’s alleged “original sin” suddenly becomes less problematic.

Perfect justice exists nowhere among the realm of men. We can strive for only the relative variety.

Let’s take a look at how this relates to one of Israel’s harshest critics, France, and note the double standards and hypocrisy evident afterwards:

Who’s shouting out and accusing Arabs about their supremacist, truly genocidal behavior? Do folks like Seth Rogen, Mark Ruffalo, or Susan Sarandon even care?

Here’s another response to the Seth Rogens of Tinseltown and elsewhere below…
