Something REALLY BIG Just Happened At The UN, And It Appears That “The New York Declaration” Could Potentially Change Everything

Peloni: Trump must make the same threat made against Carney more broadly against England and France to end this.

Whether he does or does not, it should be made clear that there will be no return of the TSS, not now, not ever.  Importantly, the recent move by the Knesset to pass a symbolic statement on extending sovereignty to Judea and Samaria makes this point clear.  Steps must now be put into motion to end the farce of appeasing foreign nations.  Israel must finally choose its own fate or face her fate being chosen by foreign interlocutors instead.

The time to act is now, the only question is whether the actions will be chosen by Israel or by her enemies.

The mainstream media mostly ignored what occurred at the UN this week, but it is a monster story. We are literally witnessing the biggest international push for recognition of a Palestinian state that we have ever witnessed. The “International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution” ended on Wednesday, and it produced a blueprint for peace in the Middle East called “the New York Declaration”. The following information about “the New York Declaration” comes from the official UN website

The High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution took place in New York from 28 to 30 July.

The United States and Israel did not participate.

France and Saudi Arabia, co-chairs of the conference, called on all UN Member States to support a declaration urging collective action to end the war in Gaza and to achieve a just, peaceful and lasting settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution outlines political, humanitarian and security steps to be taken on a timebound and irreversible basis.

The co-chairs urged countries to endorse the declaration by the end of the 79th session of the General Assembly, in early September, should they so wish.

Ending the war in Gaza is just the first step in the plan.

Once that occurs, the goal is to transfer control of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority and then have as many nations as possible officially recognize a Palestinian state.

The following is how a user on X known as “Maranatha777” summarized the plan

??After two intense days, the UN Conference on Palestine produced the “New York Declaration” — a concrete, phased roadmap to establish an independent, demilitarized Palestinian state alongside Israel.

? WHAT IS THE NEW YORK DECLARATION?

*A 7-page, action-driven blueprint co-authored by France and Saudi Arabia—the conference hosts—and backed by over 90 nations, including the Arab League, EU, and dozens of other UN member states.

* Contains time-bound, enforceable steps to pressure both Israel and Hamas into a final agreement.

* Is strategically timed to push through KEY DECISIONS at the 80th UN General Assembly this September (2025).

* YES—IT’S DESIGNED FOR ACTION, NOT JUST TALK:

* 8 implementation groups have been established—focused on security, governance, hostage release, reconstruction of Gaza, and more.

* Urges global recognition of a demilitarized Palestinian state by or during the September UNGA session.

This is huge.

For more than a decade, I have been writing about the Palestinian state that is coming. I wrote about it in my new book, and I wrote about it in many of my other books. This is literally one of the biggest events that we have been waiting for all these years.

Prior to the conference in New York, on July 25th French President Emmanuel Macron announced that his nation would formally recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly in September

French President Emmanuel Macron announced Thursday that France will recognize Palestine as a state, amid snowballing global anger over people starving in Gaza.

Macron said in a post on X that he will formalize the decision at the United Nations General Assembly in September. “The urgent thing today is that the war in Gaza stops and the civilian population is saved,” he posted.

The French president offered support for Israel after the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attack on Israel and frequently speaks out against antisemitism, but he has grown increasingly frustrated about Israel’s war in Gaza, especially in recent months.

That announcement sent shockwaves all over the globe.

Then on July 29th, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that his nation would also formally recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly in September unless Israel took “substantive steps” to change the situation in Gaza…

The United Kingdom will recognize Palestine as a state in September unless Israel takes “substantive steps” to end the “appalling situation in Gaza,” British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Tuesday.

Addressing reporters at Downing Street, the prime minister said the U.K. will recognize Palestine as a state at the United Nations General Assembly in September unless Israel takes a number of steps — including the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, a commitment to halting the annexation of territory in the West Bank, and a pledge to work toward a peace process involving a two-state solution.

“Meanwhile, our message to the terrorists of Hamas is unchanged and unequivocal. They must immediately release all of the hostages, sign up to a ceasefire, disarm and accept that they will play no part in the government of Gaza,” Starmer added.

Also on July 29th, 15 nations issued a joint statement calling for international recognition of a Palestinian state…

Fifteen countries have joined the growing push to recognize Palestinian statehood. Their calls echo the position of nations such as Russia that already recognize Palestine and view a two-state solution as the only way to end the Gaza war.

In a joint statement issued late Tuesday following a conference in New York, the foreign ministers of Andorra, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia, and Spain, urged global recognition of Palestine and an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

“We… have already recognized, have expressed or express the willingness or the positive consideration of our countries to recognize the State of Palestine, as an essential step towards the two-state solution,” the ministers said, while also calling for the release of all hostages held by Hamas.

Subsequently, on July 30th Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney indicated that his nation is ready to formally recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly in September…

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canada will recognize Palestine as a state in September at the United Nations General Assembly, following similar announcements from the United Kingdom and France.

“The deepening suffering of civilians leaves no room for delay in co-ordinated international action to support peace, security, and the dignity of all human life,” Carney said in a statement Wednesday.

The Trump administration was not pleased by Carney’s announcement at all.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has explained that President Trump believes that international recognition of a Palestinian state before the war has concluded would be “rewarding Hamas”

Press secretary Karoline Leavitt notes, emphatically, that the president disagrees with the leaders of the UK, France, and Canada and their decision to recognise Palestinian statehood if Israel fails to agree to a ceasefire in the coming months.

“He feels as though that’s rewarding Hamas at a time where Hamas is the true impediment to a cease fire into the release of all of the hostages,” she said.

But once the war is over, the Trump administration is very open to making recognition of a Palestinian state part of a comprehensive Middle East peace deal. President Trump intends to expand the Abraham Accords to include Saudi Arabia, and he knows that Saudi Arabia will not join the Abraham Accords without “a credible path to Palestinian statehood”

Saudi Arabia has made it clear: There will be no expansion of the Abraham Accords and no normalization with Israel without a credible path to Palestinian statehood. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, now the most influential voice in the Arab world, has drawn a line.

The rules of the game have changed. Without addressing Palestinian statehood head-on, no serious peace can be achieved.

I realize that I have thrown a ton of information at you in this article.

The bottom line is that a Palestinian state is coming.

And once we get to that point, everything will change.

  1. It seems that the backbone of this effort is actually Saudi Arabia and Qatar who have been spending untold amounts of money to push this through. On the other hand, in spite of all their declarations and “support” for a peace initiative in the Gaza Strip, they have not so much as moved a finger to restrain their friends, the terrorists in the Strip. They did not even assist the US and Israel in subduing the Houthis who have been a thorn in their sides for years now when it would have been advantageous to do so. Qatar has been supporting the terrorists financially for years now, although it has been told that Israel permitted that support. However, they used it to build their tunnels and rockets instead of building a Singapore in the Middle East.
I think that both the USA and Israel need to develop a plan to deal with these cowardly countries immediately to shut off the money spigot.

  2. I’m in complete agreement with all of this. I despise Europe.

  3. This is a bit like Henry VIII comment that the Pope may give Bishop Fisher a red hat but he [H VIII] was not going to give him a head to wear it.
The Palestine Lobby and New York UN decalration on Palestiine would do themselves an advantage to publicise that they also want Hamas has to return the hostages.

  4. All this proves is that the world actually does run on Jew-hatred. They intend to “recognize” a state that hasn’t been built, claiming it exists in Israeli territories that Israel has not agreed to relinquish because, as everyone knows, the so-called state will be nothing more than a launchpad for more attacks against Israelis. Jewish life is once again as cheap as it was during WW II, when the world claimed there was nothing it could do about Jews being slaughtered in Nazi concentration camps. What’s worse, now, is the world is actually paving a path for an intended genocide against the Jewish people. Why is the world so bent on eliminating the people who brought law and order into a chaotic and violent world?

  5. Re my most recent “treason” post from an article in today’s Arutz Sheva: In 1943, the United States government indicted well-known American poet and literary critic EzraPound, as well as approximately twelve other American citizens, for broadcasting pro-Axis and anti-Allied propaganda from the broadcasting stations of fascist Italy (Pound) or Germany (the other broadcasters). Pound was held for twelve years without trial in a mental hospital in Washington, DC, after a panel of court-appointed doctors declared him to be insane. A half dozen other American pro=Axis broadcasters received prison terms. Two died in prison od diseases related to unhealthy prison conditions.

How is the behavior of these Israeli citizens who have published vicious falsehoods about Israel in a viciously anti-Israel British newspaper, any different or any better than the behavior of these American World War II era traitors?

Why hasn’t the Israeli government indicted them, as well as other Israeli citizens who have published or broadcast anti-Israel propaganda in foreign newspapers, or on foreign TV or radio stations, or foreign internet channels, for treason? There is such a thing as taking tolerance for “freedom of speech” too far in time of all-out war.

  6. It is hardly a secret, neither is it new, nor even unexpected, that many Israelis are dissatisfied with the government’s handling of the current war. Anyone who listens to Israel Radio, or who watches Israeli TV channels, or who reads Israeli newspapers is acutely aware of the debates rife within Israel.

Sometimes it feels as though every Israeli and his wife are convinced that they could have brought all the hostages safely home and defeated the Hamas more than a year ago. Everyone has his and her perfect plan.

The overwhelming majority of Israelis have the integrity to keep the debate within Israel.

But on 29th July, a minuscule coterie of Israelis saw fit to smash all acceptable boundaries:

In a letter to the Israel-bashing Guardian, 31 self-proclaimed “Israelis dedicated to a peaceful future for our country and our Palestinian neighbours”, claimed that “Our country is starving the people of Gaza to death and contemplating the forced removal of millions of Palestinians from the Strip.”

Their solution to this alleged atrocity?

“The international community must impose crippling sanctions on Israel until it ends this brutal campaign and implements a permanent ceasefire”.

It is perfectly acceptable to oppose the government’s policies, even in time of war.

But what these 31 signatories have done has been to use one of the most viciously anti-Israel newspapers in the Western world as a platform to defame Israel. The Guardian doesn’t even pretend to be a neutral platform: its hostility to Israel is relentless.

Their outrageous demand is for the world to declare economic warfare on Israel to force it to surrender to the Hamas. This is to say: In time of war, as Israel fights for its very survival, they turn to the global community in the hope of enlisting international support for the Hamas and its war of attempted genocide against Israel.

There is a word for people who attempt to enlist foreign aid against their own country in time of war. Not a pleasant word, but in these circumstances the words “traitor” and “treason” become unavoidable.

They proclaim themselves to be “dedicated to a peaceful future for our country”. Leave aside the deliberate implication that the overwhelming majority of Israelis do not want a peaceful future for our country, their deliberate libelling Israel in this most virulently anti-Israel publication.

The hypocrisy of their self-righteous assertion that they, and they alone, yearn for peace stinks to the very heavens.

Their appeal to notorious anti-Semites recalls the lines from The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, maybe the most famous work of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the most influential German-language writer ever:

“Die ich rief, die Geister, / Werd’ ich nun nicht los”: “The spirits that I summoned / I am unable to rid myself of them again”.

This phrase has become almost a cliché, typifying how people turn to perceived allies in the hope that such allies will help them – only to lose control over them, and to be defeated by those spirits whom they summoned.

These “peaceniks” turn to hostile foreign media, seeking allies among the most vicious Israel-haters and indeed Jew-haters in the world. By calling for Israel to capitulate to the Hamas, they inevitably make common cause with some of the vilest anti-Semites who pollute G-d’s earth, whether the Hamas and other Islamists, or neo-Nazis, or the European fanatical left, or any other motley rabble of genocidal psychopaths.

They glibly summon these evil spirits, hoping to defeat Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the Israeli Right – horribly ignorant that their allies want to destroy them along with all other Jews.

They sanctimoniously announce that they “write this with grave shame, in rage and in agony”. Maybe.

But the sole reason that The Guardian gives its column inches to these misfits of Israeli society is that they direct their rage against their fellow-Jews.

Today they hope for “crippling sanctions” against Israel, no doubt feeling secure in their delusions of having allies in other countries. Yet if – G-d forbid – any of them will ever be forced to relocate because of these crippling sanctions, they will inexorably discover that treason carries no rewards: they will still be Jews, Israelis, and Zionists in the eyes of these spirits whom they have summoned as their allies.

    • Adam; I am with you 100% on this. My suggestion is to get these traitors into a military court in Israel and give them the choice of leaving the country forever or being charged with treason in time of war. This will certainly not bring them to their senses but it will highlight the back door into Israeli politics through the Israeli Supreme Court which may then also be charged with treason.
Sadly, I very much doubt if this will happen.

  7. KEELIE-The Accords is a wonderful concept and endeavour.
    What
s to mistrust. The Taquiya, yes. but a watchful eye will be kept on the participants, who will be made discard that famous Muslim back-door deceit. Or no membership.

When Gaza is resettled with wall to wall Jews, and Sovereignty extended to YESH It will be seen as ir revocable except through conquest, nd theArabs are the much weaker opponents.

Saudia; blah is just that, a bargaining tool.
