The audacity of apostasy: Barack Obama’s Muslim links

The opportunity in this is not accusing him of being a “closet Moslem.” It requires taking him at his word that he has become a Christian — for that means he is an apostate.

Which provides the perfect opportunity for an enterprising journalist to ask him at a press conference if he is:

1. Afraid of Moslem assassination attempts as punishment for being in Islamic eyes an apostate?

2. Willing to publicly call upon all Moslems around the world to renounce such punishment and declare instead that Moslems are fully free to convert to another religion? Andy Bostom

One of the most entertaining opportunities that will emerge in 2007 will be using Barack Obama to fight Islamofascism. That is why his middle name is the same as Saddam’s: Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. His first name is taken from the Islamic term in Arabic for “blessed,” baraka, used in the Koran.

  1. Barak’s Muslim heritage should only help him as well as Muslims, because when it comes to Islam in the U.S., much or most of it is of one of several black Islam varieties, who are in various degrees of divergence from orthodox Sunni Islam. Yet even Farrakhan’s polytheistic Nation of Islam is not only tolerated publicly, but shown off, though in private everyone knows it is grossly heretical. Obama will definitely not get the conservative Christian vote, and not just because he went even beyond partial birth abortion to even support allowing the killing of born babies, but because to us he’s not Christian and is even hostile to orthodox Christianity having insulted a couple Christian leaders, including Jerry Falwell. Nah, bringing up Obama’s liberal and nominally Christian religion (which by the way believes the Church replaced Israel) can only stir up the already strong anti-Christian hostility and unite the various liberal groups.
