For decades, the American people have been fed a steady diet of lies regarding “democracy building” in the Middle East. But the most dangerous deception is happening right now, orchestrated by the very man who once held the keys to the CIA and the State Department: Mike Pompeo. This isn’t just about bad policy; it is a calculated betrayal of American security. Mike Pompeo is actively shilling for the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) – a fanatical, cult-like terrorist organization – with the explicit goal of installing them as a puppet regime in Tehran.
The facts are undeniable. The evidence is overwhelming. While Pompeo wraps himself in the flag, he is burning it by legitimizing a group that has the blood of Americans on its hands.

But the reality is stark. The MEK has zero support inside Iran. Iranians remember that the MEK fought alongside Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq War, slaughtering their own countrymen. Supporting the MEK is the fastest way to ensure the Iranian people unite against the United States. Pompeo’s “path to freedom” is actually a roadmap to a bloody, eternal conflict that will cost American lives and trillions of dollars.

Pompeo is compromised. Ever since Iran’s (IRCG) very real assassination attempt on his life combined with his removal from the Trump administration, he became an understandably scared individual. He no longer receives any protection from the US government but was promised security from MEK and others (possibly the KGB). I know this all sounds like a conspiracy theory. When he was head of the CIA he made acquaintances with various international spy ages. This is quite normal. Of course this includes the Mossad as well. He is probably paying back favours to MEK for either protection or assassination attempt alerts on his life from a while back or simply because he hates the Ayatollah regime so much that he’ll chose the MEK terrorists (he bloody well knows exactly who they are) to do the dirty work.
He was viewed by Trump’s inner team as a neocon much like former National Security Advisor John Bolton who Trump eventually fired and who now turned on Trump.
Not sure if Pompeo will actually turn on Trump or not. I’m sure he’s very upset over not getting any cabinet position from Trump during his 2nd term and of course getting his security detail cut after assassination attempts from Iran.
In any case, he has next to no influence so his support of MEK will have little effect in US policy.

I doubt the truth of Amil Imani’s accusations against MEK and Mike Pompeo.
Who is Imani? What are his credentials and background that supposedly make him an authority on the Iranian people and MEK?
Imani acknowledges that MEK was removed from the US State Department’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations in 2012, way before Trump was elected president and chose Mike Pompeo as his Secretary of State. So why does Imani speak of MEK as if it is “a band of bloodthirsty fanatics?”
Imani’s aspersions on Pompeo also leave much room for doubt. Mike Pompeo is an accomplished public servant of undoubted integrity who has spent his entire career serving the American people in a number of high positions in the federal government.

I disagree with you! Pompeo is highly experienced not only as a former CIA Director but also as a top graduate of West Point, a retired US Army Captain, a former US Congressman from Kansas and, of course, Secretary of State to Trump during his first presidential term.
The clincher for me is that Pompeo is a Christian Zionist and was responsible for a ruling issued by the State Department that Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are not illegal under international law.
I find it highly unlikely that an experienced and competent American public servant of such high caliber would ever engage in “treachery” of any kind against the US or Israel!!
FYI, Imani himself acknowledges that MEK was “taken off the State Department’s list” of designated terrorist organizations way back in 2012! So Imani’s opinion that MEK is a “band of bloodthirsty fanatics” is mere unsubstantiated speculation, inconsistent with the fact that MEK is no longer considered a terrorist group by the State Department.That decision was made by the State Department long before Pompeo became Secretary of State!

This was only achieved due to political lobbying. The same leadership which led the organization which murdered Americans was paying American politicians such as Pompeo and others to support the terrorist organization being redesignated as not being a terrorist organization. Those people which they murdered, however, are just as dead as the US Marines who were murdered by the Iranian regime which they once supported.
As to Pompeo being a Christian Zionist who made a significant mark on behalf of Israel, no one is contesting this, but I would argue that it does not elevate him to a position which does not require scrutiny for anything he might advocate, such as placing the control of the Iranian people under a Marxist, Islamist, terrorist death cult, which I would argue is a fair representation of what the MEK is. I would argue that this is no different than challenging Trump’s decision to leave Hamas in power in any fashion in Gaza and to have established a new Two State Solution process and to pretend that everyone wants peace, after he hit Iran and recognized Jerusalem. It is unacceptable to accept existential threats as being palliative no matter who endorses them.

I know Amil personally. He is a Persian American and he has written extensively about MEK, the Ayatollahs and what has happened to his homeland. He is not the only person who knows MEK has made inroads with high ranking veterans, CIA Pompeo and allegedly even Rudy Giuliani.
Our first son-in-law, Joe, is from Persia. His parents told all the children to drive the Americans around the oil fields and learn English and emigrate to America and make wonderful lives for themselves. We met Joe’s parents when they came to America to visit 40 years ago. Every time we mentioned Khomeini, his mother would say, “Morte, Morte.” They hated him and wanted the Shah’s son. It’s been 47 years since Jimmy Carter.
It’s not just freeing the Persian people, it is the destruction of the number one terrorist nation in the world. It would be a disaster to chain the Persians with another totalitarian evil like MEK.
