The Question That Took Down the Ivy League—Elise Stefanik Explains | The Brief

Peloni: Rep. Elise Stefanik, a unabashed champion of honesty, decency, and moral fortitude, will be missed following the coming election when she will no longer be part of the US congress.  I regret Trump’s decision to not back her in her bid to move towards rescuing New York in the coming governor’s race there, but I do look forward to seeing Elise continuing to share her voice in the years to come.

  1. Very unfortunate that she’s leaving. And Mike Waltz got her job as Ambassador to the UN after he added Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg to a “secret” Signal group chat discussing sensitive military strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen. Waltz took “full responsibility” for the “embarrassing” error, which revealed classified plans, including targets and timing. He was booted from being the National Security Advisor and got Elise’s position and she was sent back to the House.

Didn’t Trump realize that his advisor Wiles was pulling too many Republicans out of the House? And he’s still doing it when he pulled a young Senator, Markwayne Mullin out to head up DHS after canning Noem.
