Having been bartered off to the will of the Turks, the Kurds stand upon the precipice of utter destruction. Standing as the second abandonment of Trump, the first being during the first Trump administration, the question arises what the US has in store for the remaining minorities in Syria as they continue to embolden, empower, and enrich Turkey’s man in Demascus. Only Israel stands between the Turks and these minority groups today, and the question remains to be answered if this will be enough to forestall the US support of Turkey in Syria from achieving its ultimate goal of complete conquest and subjugation of Syria. This question however appears to be all but conclusively answered for the Kurdish regions in Northern Syria.
