Trump Admin Passes UN Resolution Including Clause on Palestinian state

Peloni:  In a near unanimous vote, the UN Security Council voted in favor of the US proposed resolution which indicates support for the creation of a second Palestinian state to be carved from land which was intended to be included in the Jewish Homeland over a century ago by the Allied Supreme powers at the end of WWI.  While the Palestinians have consistently differed with their Western supporters in having any aspirations of a state alongside the Jewish state over the past many decades, Western determination to serve up such a vehicle of Israel’s devastation has seemingly remained un-phased by these facts.  In the wake of the celebrations of Palestinians participating in the October 7 massacre, not to mention the joy with which Gazan crowds beat living and dead Jewish captives as they were dragged into the dungeons of Gaza, the support for the Trump administration to pretend that their efforts today will result in any peaceful resolution is either coldly mendacious or inexplicably naive.

Relevantly, US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Watlz listed the support of the terror supporting PA leader Abu Mazen as proof of the support which the US gained for its UN resolution, ignoring the fact gaining the support of the leader of the yet to be reformed PA clearly places the US on the wrong side of history, as is evident by the American effort to defund the PA and the ostensible demands that it be ‘reformed’.   The simple truth is that the eventuality of the support for a second Palestinian state has just begun the clock anew towards yet another future war.  As claims of reforming the unreformable American terror equity known as the Palestinian Authority are resolved to be the foundation of peace in the Middle East, the reality is that if peace had been an objective of this or any past US administration, they would never have persisted in requiring any solution be dependent upon a terrorist commodity such as the PA.

The cold reality is undeniable as it is devastatingly difficult to ignore: the opportunity of peace in the Middle East is as remote today as it has ever been, as the US has now pinned its resolve to double down on rewarding the slaughter of the October 7 Massacre with hopes of yet another round of slaughters, while describing it as peace.

For more on the Israeli response, and the critiques of Dan Diker and Martin Sherman, please read the article below.  In particular, note Sherman’s reference to serial failures by Israel’s governments over the years which have led to this moment.

Israel’s failure to act in its own interest, now and in the past, is the limit which has held her under the shadow of the terror state now proposed in the current UN Resolution.  Sovereignty over the lands of Israel should be made resolute.  Equivocation towards such an action has never yielded success, but has only hardened our enemies towards the belief in their own eventual victory.

Roamnrab:  Waltz spilled the beans with his statement:

“If it would be the IDF in perpetually, …. there would be NO Abraham Accords- WHICH IS THE NUMBER ONE OBJECTIVE OF THIS ADMINISTRATION!”

THERE WE HAVE IT-
SELLING ISRAEL’S SOUL (AND SECURITY- AND FUTURE) TO THE DEVIL-
ALL BECAUSE IT’S THIS ADMINISTRATION’S (= DON TRUMP’S) MAIN OBJECTIVE!

TRUMP HAS DOUBLE-CROSSED ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE.

LIKE ALL OTHER ENEMIES OF ISRAEL (The People), G-d and History WILL REMEMBER HIM IN INFAMY!!!

  1. AND the US IS going to sell F-35s to the Saudis.

I hate to say this folks, but this isn’t the same Trump as was elected last year, and who has handled economic matters deftly.

In other words, it appears he has “lost it”. I don’t say that lightly; just look at how he has been dealing with ME matters, including this UN fiasco. Seems to me that Israel has to take matters into its own capable hands, as failure to do this will in no uncertain terms, be catastrophic.

  2. The renewed focus on Palestinian statehood brought on by today’s passage of Trump’s benighted UNSC resolution should serve as an urgent warning to the Israeli government that it has no time to lose in asserting sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. If it hesitates now, it may forever lose the opportunity to stop the international community from sacrificing Judea and Samaria (the heart and soul of the Jewish people’s homeland) on the altar of Palestinian statehood!
