Trump criticises Zelenskyy for resisting land swap, says ‘kills everybody but needs approval’

Peloni:  How ironic is it that the comic who was elected to bring peace to his nation is doing everything possible to keep the war going?  Trump is right to castigate Zelensky for his previous actions which led to war, as well as many of his current actions as well

  1. Another malicious nut projecting. Birds of a feather. No point in acknowledging or responding to these arrogant, execrable, belligerent, opinionated, uninformed schmucks, no matter what poop comes out of their mouths. The founder of Israpundit, whose name hardly anyone remembers, was wise to pass the baton to Ted Belman who showed the same wisdom in passing it to Peloni.

The founder of Israpundit, whose name hardly anyone remembers, was wise to pass the baton to Ted Belman who showed the same wisdom in passing it to Peloni.

This was very kind of you to suggest. I do my best to carry that baton, and I am inspired daily to do my best by the contributions, reflections, and support from so many others, such as yourself. So thank you, to you, each of our bloggers, and all of our readers!

  2. The whole key to understand the rush to meeting in America lies in crisis breakdowns in Ukrainian proxy army

    Note

    1. Trump out of the blue dispatched his envoy

    2. The weak Putin agrees to meeting in Alaska

    3. He should have said to Trump NO CAN DO

A very bad move by Putin. These Stalinist negotiate people are very dangerous for Russia.

It will have to be decided by raw force

  3. Laura

History has showed the islamic Jihad hates Russia.

Yet the jihad has been.quelled there
    Why and how?

The lesson is that there is not uncontrolled immigration.

PS Russia will not invade west Ukraine and won’t have to.

There’s a difference between socialism or communism existing and socialist measures.

You are confusing the names as in propaganda in the genuine sense of that word

Lenin with trotsky did give national liberation

    Important position to take up

But the Ukrainian government, it’s power based, allied with the very real enemy

And then led the massive Pogroms

So the Jews became totally involved in that Civil War in Ukraine and Byelorussia, even Poland.

They armed themselves and became close to the Red Army.

Soviet rule in Ukraine came in that way.

Recently Jewish academics have showed that without question.

It is not hard to discover it

  5. Why I celebrate Jonathan Pollard’s freedom
Jonathan Pollard saw something evil happening and did something good about it.  That is rare and courageous. Opinion

I’m one of those Jews who never spoke up for Jonathan Pollard, but prayed for him every day (and still do), and will forever admire him for his courage and heroism. If you believe in truth, justice, and the American way, Jonathan Pollard is a hero. At great personal risk he did the right thing and paid a heavy price.
Jonathan Pollard saw something evil happening and did something good about it. That is rare and courageous. He ended up spending more than half of his life in solitary confinement, and in misery, because of it.
He stands out as a hero to those who hate corrupt, Deep State, unelected, sanctimonious career bureaucrats who often do wrong, while selfishly enriching themselves through their public service jobs.

Jonathan worked in US Navy Intelligence. While there he discovered that the U.S. Government was withholding vital security information that it had promised to Israel. It is known and understood that these careerists don’t like Israel and do their best to harm her in every underhanded way possible. Hiding important intelligence information is just one of those ways.
These Deep Staters often masquerade as patriots while being in thrall to America’s enemies’ interests, their own conflicts of interest, and/or their personal career ambitions. They all tried to bury Jonathan, but he stood strong and is now finally free.
I don’t believe that just because someone is elected or appointed to an office it means that their whim becomes the right way to do things. When the Bushes’ Saudi or Chinese friends told America to do something, does that mean it became America’s interest? Are totalitarian regime dictates carried out as American policy something the average American will need for their families’ and America’s future? I don’t think so.
When Barack Obama and his administration gave the Iranian Mullahs the ability to manufacture nuclear weapons and 150 billion dollars to do with as they pleased – was that really in America’s national security interest? Or was it one lucky community organizer’s personal/religious vendetta against Israel’s Jews being actualized.
There is an objective truth of right versus wrong, and honest people everywhere know it. Jonathan Pollard knew what was right and did what was right. He should be applauded for this and enjoy all his years of freedom in Israel in health and happiness.

What a Hodge podge of thoughts

But the only consistency that they lead to attempt, note I say ATTEMPT, to slander views you don’t agree with, in the sense you are ignorant of those views, so it is NOT based on history, but bias.

  8. What an unbelievable honor to sit down with Jonathan Pollard, overlooking the holiest place on earth, the Temple Mount. A deeply moving moment. But our conversation was far from symbolic.
We spoke about a disturbing development you’re NOT hearing in the mainstream media:
Russia is reportedly considering resuming military patrols in southern Syria, right on Israel’s border, at the request of the Jolani regime. Even worse? This move is supposedly supported by the U.S. envoy to Syria, and may even have the quiet backing of PM Netanyahu.
In this urgent, no-holds-barred interview, Jonathan Pollard speaks out with a grave warning. If these reports are true, this is a direct threat to Israel’s sovereignty and security.
Why would Netanyahu agree to this? And what is the cost of staying silent?
Link in the comment to Watch as Jonathan Pollard speaks about this issue, and what must be done before it’s too late.

Avi Abelow on FB. I think the interview is on Israpundit

How’s this for unity of opposites, Russia’s demands regarding Ukraine and NATO are just but Russia is no friend to Israel or to Jews. It never has been, except for five minutes during WWII and in 1948, and Jewish Communists were tolerated in the 20s. Jews as Jews have no reason to be involved in the Russia-Ukraine war. To stave off antisemitism, Russian Jews should support Russia, Ukrainian Jews should support Ukraine. * And diaspora Jews should just support ISRAEL. And America to the extent that she supports Israel. The U.S. and a handful of pacific island nations are the only nations in the world that have voted in defence of Israel in the U.N. almost every time!

Yes, Pirkei Avot, specifically Pirkei Avot 3:2, emphasizes the importance of supporting the government where one resides.
Rabbi Chanina, the vice-high priest, teaches:
“Pray for the welfare of the government, for were it not for the fear it inspires, every man would swallow his neighbor alive.”
This means that government plays a crucial role in maintaining order and preventing anarchy, highlighting the need to support its continued functioning.
Beyond Pirkei Avot, the principle of “dina d’malkhuta dina” – the law of the land is the law – further reinforces the obligation to obey the laws of the country where one resides. This means that, for Jews, observing the civil law is considered a religiously mandated obligation unless those laws outright contradict their own religious laws.
Therefore, according to Jewish tradition, Jews are encouraged to be responsible and law-abiding citizens who actively support and contribute to the well-being of the countries they live in. ”

    * I wonder if this is where Lenin got the idea for his view that Russians should support the right of minority nations within Russia to separate if they wish, while those nations should advocate the right to union with the mother country. And sociallism was a principle that superceded both.

  9. I don’t think Zelensky should give in to Russian aggression and reward Russia’s imperialistic invasion with Ukrainian territory. However I have a far better deal. Trump should offer western Europe to Putin in exchange for its full withdrawal from Ukraine. Western European countries are already being overrun with muslim terrorists so they can’t be any worse off being under Russia’s control. And frankly they deserve it. It would also be poetic justice for them recognizing a muslim terrorist state at Israel’s expense.

  10. Peloni

McGregor reads this war more correctly than some on this site

He is in advance of many Jews who support the Neonazis

On McGregor and Israel. Note he is pro Iran so he is in the camp of Antisemitism.

He talks sense on the war on Russia. This must be held together in a unity of opposites.

    • @fquigley

      unity of opposites

      Interesting.

In any event, I am not inclined to watch him myself, and accordingly, i will not suggest that others do either. I made this decision during a conversation I had with Ted last year. Nothing has given me pause to change this decision.

What is more, I disagree that McGreggor is some form of guide post for the Ukraine war, and if we are going to pick among antisemites to lead us to the true north on the Ukraine war, it would open the field wide for candidates who are far less successful in spreading Jew Hatred than is McGreggor…which is why I won’t post him.

  11. Peloni

“How ironic is it that the comic who was elected to bring peace to his nation is doing everything possible to keep the war going? Trump is right to castigate Zelensky for his previous actions which led to war, as well as many of his current actions as well ”

Trump is very changeable. His big hatred statements are against Russia and that is apt because trump is part of the wide coalition that aims at destroying Russia

Adam is the block to knowledge in denying that Ukraine is a proxy
..the weapon directed to destroying Russia.

This will be decided on the battle field

  12. I note that Peloni has made a big deal out of it. He claims he didn’t use the term …mocking. BIG DEAL because

    He prints it without qualifications

    What does he print

    “TRUMP MOCKS…..”

Adam has a right to come back and say to Peloni

“Why the fuss. You did reproduce the words without a quibble”

Serious stuff about conduct and ethics.

  13. I will raise another point

In about 1923 on Stalin began to raise the possibility of no more revolution abroad and advanced later that there was a peaceful road to socialism

This was actually a lie by Stalin. The whole basis of Marxism, Leninism and Trotskyism is that there can never be a road to peace

And so it has transpired in this Ukrainian War

The brave and resourceful russian people have been fighting for all of humanity in this war, and also for Ukraine, against the Stepan Bandera Neonazis of the present

But this sacrifice is denied by Biden and by this glory Nobel seeking Trump who is a true NONENTITY by any standard.

  14. Again I try to follow the argument. Peloni reduced it down to he was misquoted by Adam.

Adam LIKEWISE keeps getting to the point of stating the case of Ukraine. But it’s Ukraine case is total lies from A to Z. BOTH THESE TWO MISS THE WAR AND WHATS THE REALITY THERE.

But we cannot get to it. Peloni is stating the mockery thing as if that mattered much

The Ukrainian case of Adam is all lies

This is not a government. It’s a dictatorship and has been since Neonazis took power in 2014 in the Maiden VIOLENCE

That’s why Luria was murdered. He was talking as if there wasn’t a dictatorship

That is the heart of the issue

Adam doesn’t answer me but I put the first point first

“Do you accept Ukraine as a proxy

Why did Russia react to the maiden events 2014

Is Russia interested in land capture or in security of borders v NATO.”

“Adam if you answer these you will answer much”…I hopefully added

    Note: Ukraine as proxy

My very first question I ask him to answer.

He doesn’t answer and it’s very simple and meaningful.

It’s the answer to the war. It’s the answer to Minsk 2 which is also the answer to what trump is doing in forcing this meeting in Alaska

Merkel said she was buying time in Minsk 2 and that’s what Trump is doing in Alaska.

Buying time. The CIA said the lines at Perlosvk were about to collapse. He panicked. He dispatched his envoy. He lied saying Russia was begging for the meeting.

Putin should contradict him but Putin I emphasize is not Lenin or Trotsky so Putin too plays us.

So the Russia knows the world hates Russia just as Jews knows Antisemitism of Islam hated Jews.
But these are not Trotskyists so truth is absent.

To find out truth on this war in Ukraine it only comes from McGregor etc

But he is not quoted here and that’s why this is a CLIQUE SITUATION and why israpundit readers aren’t getting the picture from McGregor

    • PS

Adam doesn’t answer me ever. He avoids my simple, straight forward and think meaningful questions which I think do get to the heart of it.

And who thereby gains if Adam doesn’t answer my questions.

        • SEB-

You bother to answer because you are by nature a malicious tormentor an {in Latvian} Yiddish_” a tzilahachus”………in YOUR American coarse, vulgar lingo. :A drek stirrer”.

Except that the real word in not “drek” but it’s American equivalent.

    • @fquitgley

To find out truth on this war in Ukraine it only comes from McGregor etc

You won’t be seeing McGregor quoted here. His malicious descriptions of Israel undermine his use as a credible source IMHO. While it seems that this is almost universally true of those covering the Ukraine war, I find myself as being so entriely disappointed in McGreggor, that I can not waste my reader’s time by offering him the credibility which you hold in him.

  15. Recent (within the past few days) film clips of Trump discussing his efforts to negotiate a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine war with U.S. reporters, show him making respectful references to Zelensky, not mocking: him. He promised that if he succeeded in negotiating a peace deal with Putin in Alaska, Zelensky would be the first person to hear about it. He also said that if he sensed he had made a breakthrough with Putin, he would try to organize a peace conference in which Zelensky would represnt Ukraine, and the principal European countries would be represented. He said that Turkey would be a likely location for this conference. Another possible outcome would be a three-way meeting between Trump, Putin and Zelensky. All of his references to Zelensky were respectful.

The reason I write about a Ukrainian “alternative Universe” is that Peloni and other individuals writing in Israpundit are so at odds with what I my sources tell me is happening in Ukraine that it is as you guys were living in an alternative universe. The people who are supporting Russia in this conflict seem to me to be completely out of touch with reality.

    • @Adam
You are of course welcome to express your own views, but you once again suggest that I have suggested Trump was mocking Zelensky. I did not make this statement. I say once again that Trump was sharply critical of Zelensky, and fairly so. This is not mockery, but only a fair depiction of Zelensky’s foolish moves which turned the peace candidate which he claimed to be into the war president which he has been since well before his term of office ended.

      • Peloni the way you have written that paragraph is a cover, covering up, what trump is doing

And that is both dangerous and deceitful

Trump in all is prosecuting the war on Russia

But you Peloni at this critical time suggest he is not

See my other post where I explained trump is doing what Merkel was doing in Mersk 2

        You seem to miss that

        • @fquigley

Trump in all is prosecuting the war on Russia

But you Peloni at this critical time suggest he is not

Wrong. I made no such claim. It would be silly to suggest Trump was not supporting the war, as the facts about his actions are as plain as your false description of my own words. His purpose in doing arming Ukraine, however, belies a different goal than his predecessor, so we will see where it all goes, particularly with regards to the pivotal Alaska summit.

  16. Adam

    Your words

“Ukraine does accept the proposed borders of the “territorial swap,” I think the ball is now in Donald Trump’s court now. He must decide if the U.S. is prepared to enter into some sort of treaty or at least binding written agreement with Ukraine to protect it in the event that Putin, whom the Ukrainians believe wants to annex all of Ukraine, should resume the war in the future ”

Do you accept Ukraine as a proxy

Why did Russia react to the maiden events 2014

Is Russia interested in land capture or in security of borders v NATO.

Adam if you answer these you will answer much

  17. Trump’s most recent comments about Zelensky, as broadcast either today or yesterday by the American MSM, were respectful and sympatheric in tone, not at all “mocking” as Peloni says. He also had mainly positive comments about Putin, and said he was looking forward to meeting him in Alska. He added that if he succeeded in reaching an agreement with Putin as he hoped, he would inform Zelensky before anyone else.

    • @Adam

not at all “mocking” as Peloni says.

This is not true. I never said Trump’s comments were mocking nor did I characterize them in any way. I think hos comments were fairly critical, but not mocking in any way. Perhaps you have me mixed up with some other Peloni.

  18. From the Ukraine alternative universe: Zelensky says that the Ukraine accepts the land swap, but wants firm security guarantees from the United States and other NATO countries. Either NATO membership or a separate requiring the U.S. and other NATO countries to intervene to protect Ukraine. But Ukraine does accept the proposed borders of the “territorial swap,” I think the ball is now in Donald Trump’s court now. He must decide if the U.S. is prepared to enter into some sort of treaty or at least binding written agreement with Ukraine to protect it in the event that Putin, whom the Ukrainians believe wants to annex all of Ukraine, should resume the war in the future

    • So then it’s ok for an anti America coalition to set up it’s nuclear rockets on the Mexico border and the Canada border?

Oh wait I forgot. The Cuba crisis… remember the fuss?

    • @Adam D.

      AI Overview

Based on recent statements and reports, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected the idea of swapping Ukrainian territory with Russia as a means to end the war.
This stance was articulated after former US President Donald Trump suggested a potential peace deal might involve some “swapping of territories”, according to NBC News and CNN. Zelenskyy has emphasized that Ukraine will not cede land to the occupier, referencing the Ukrainian constitution which states that Ukrainian territory is indivisible and inviolable. He further noted that any decisions made without Ukraine’s direct participation would be considered ineffective and against peace efforts. Some analysts suggest that a land swap would be deeply unpopular within Ukraine and could be politically disastrous for Zelenskyy.
It is important to note that while Zelenskyy strongly rejected the land swap proposal in recent days, a February 2025 report by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation indicated Zelenskyy had expressed a willingness to trade land in Russia’s Kursk region, which Ukraine had seized, for a Ukrainian territory held by Russia. This earlier instance suggests a possible variation in Zelenskyy’s approach depending on the specific circumstances and territories involved, though his current public position is firmly against ceding Ukrainian land. However, this earlier proposal was deemed “impossible” by the Kremlin, according to Firstpost.
At the same time, Zelenskyy has proposed an “all for all” prisoner of war swap as a potential starting point to ending the war, according to NDTV.
