Tucker Carlson Has Become Tehran’s Most Effective Propagandist

“Tucker has lost his way,” President Trump told ABC News on March 5. “He’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”

The President’s assessment is correct, though it does not go far enough. The problem with Tucker Carlson is not that he has lost his way. It is that he has found one. And the way he has found leads directly to Tehran.

In two broadcasts totaling nearly three hours, Carlson advanced every pillar of the Islamic Republic’s information warfare strategy: the war serves only Israel; the Gulf States are the real victims; America should declare victory and leave immediately; dual-loyalty fifth columnists dragged the country into a foreign war; and the Ayatollah’s death is a tragedy that will unleash chaos. In his second broadcast, he escalated further, claiming the war is secretly about rebuilding the Jewish Third Temple on the ruins of Islam’s third-holiest site.

These are not the original insights of a contrarian thinker. They are Tehran’s talking points, now reaching tens of millions of Americans through their most effective English-language delivery system.

It examines every central claim across both broadcasts against the documented record: the 47-year history of Iran killing Americans, the unanimous Gulf state condemnation of Iran, the Qatar arrest of IRGC spies (not the Mossad agents Carlson invented), and the antisemitic architecture underpinning the entire project.

Every central claim Carlson made is false. Every unsourced assertion has been contradicted by events. Every prediction has been inverted by reality.
