What requisites or credentials do the “Palestinian” terrorists have that qualifies for statehood? Jew hatred and terror. That’s it. It’s who they are, what they are, it defines them. Without Jew hatred they cease to exist.

They should not do it.

From Salem: Creating a Palestinian state right now would be illegal under the U.N.’s own charter. Chapter II of the Charter states, “Membership in the United Nations is open to all other peace-loving states which accept the obligations contained in the present Charter and, in the judgment of the Organization, are able and willing to carry out these obligations.” Some of those obligations include “To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace.” We stand firmly against rewarding any of this with the credibility of a body such as the United Nations whose very founding was based on ending “the scourge of war” and promoting “fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person.” Given the entire history of the proposed state’s cause, to create this new state this September would be to mock any serious notion of human rights and make both the U.N. and the world, indeed, a far more dangerous place (Townhall).

The UN is dead. Utterly corrupted, it’s become the international arm for Islamic terrorism and Jew hatred. It is irretrievably broken and has been for decades. We should have withdrawn long before this. It poses a clear and present danger.

The UN is a terrorist organization that has abandoned the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and adopted the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights (sharia law). More on the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam (CDHRI).

Born in the ashes of World War II and established to ensure that a Holocaust would never happen again, the United Nations has not just horribly failed in its mission, it has become the very thing it was created to oppose and defeat.

Just as the League of Nations was dissolved because it failed in its primary purpose to prevent world war, the United Nations has failed in its primary purpose and should be dismantled. The United Nations “should cease to exist except for the sole purpose of the liquidation of its affairs.” They have devolved to an arm of the jihad force.

The League of Nations was established at the end of World War I as an international peacekeeping organization just as the United Nations was founded over seventy years ago in the wake of the Holocaust to ensure “never again.” Democracies, both nascent and well-established, comprised the majority of the founding nations of the UN. America was confident that the UN would be an organization which would work in tandem with American national interests in promoting the welfare of humankind and the basic rights of every human spirit.

It has become the very thing it was founded to defeat. They have failed the tortured, the oppressed, the poor, in incalculable ways. The graft and corruption is endemic to the institution.

We need a different organization. ‘The United Democratic Nations,” an organization of free nations, would be more rational. How can democracies and dictatorships co-exist in a world body successfully? They can’t. And so immediately the organization was destined to fail.

  1. The only reason Israel is still a member of the UN is to be able to respond to the accusations against Israel. The Hasbara doesn’t produce the correct results – neither does the UN, but if we leave, there is nobody left to answer. We cannot depend on anybody else to stand up for us as we have seen in the past with the Obama regime.

    • My initial message was a little too short. If Israel leaves the UN, these ever recurring charges against Israel are left to stand as if they were facts. Israel has to denounce these accusations on the record.
