Linda Goudsmit: Pete Hegseth announced President Trump’s policy that, “If you are a narco-terrorist smuggling drugs in our hemisphere, we will treat you like we treat Al-Qaeda,” Hegseth said in his Friday post, referring to the pan-Islamist terrorist organization that officials say was involved in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Day or NIGHT, we will map your networks, track your people, hunt you down, and kill you.” How is that any different from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s commitment to hunting down Hamas terrorists being protected in Qatar? It isn’t! I cannot explain President Trump’s blatant hypocrisy in this matter. Is his attitude shift related to Jared Kushner’s involvement in the negotiations?? No one, including Steve Witkoff and the President’s son-in-law, who have financial ties to the Muslim countries involved, should participate in these negotiations. It is a serious conflict of interest for the United States and an existential danger to Israel. First comes Saturday/Jews then comes Sunday/Christians. Islamic doctrine makes it very clear that ALL non-believers must convert or die. That is why Israel must remain our strategic ally. They are the bulwark against Islamic expansionism in the Middle East. It is just that simple.
