US/Israel relations

By Ted Belman

Russia threatens to change stance on Iran because of Crimea sanctions. This could be good news for Israel. The more difficult the negotiations are with Iran, the more likely the US will give Israel to go ahead to attack.

Ya’alon clarifies comments: No intention to hurt US-Israel relations. At the drop of the hat, the US demands an apology. They can treat us like shit but when we react and call a space a spade, they want an apology. Only from Israel I might add. They keep us under their thumb.

US State Department: ‘Israel has right to defend itself’ against spillover violence. It should go without saying. The US wants to be the gatekeeper on when and where we defend ourselves.

It is up to Israel and the GCC to stop Iran from going nuclear.

Who do you think Iran’s primary target is, the “Little Satan” or the “Big Satan”?

Who do you think is more vulnerable “The Little Satan” or the “Big Satan”?

Israel has developed and deployed anti missile and anti ICBM defense systems. America has none. While no defensive system is perfect the Iranians can never know for sure that they will be successful nuking Israel but within min. of an attack on Israel Iran will cease to exist and the world goes with it.

I don’t believe Israel would be first or second choice of Iran to attack…. America or the Saudis seems more probable despite the threatening rhetoric.

I see no reason why Israel should pull the American and European chestnuts from the line of fire.

I wish US as well as others stand against the theocratic Mullahs of Iran by siding with Israel. However, Russia has a vested interest in Iran, which supports one of its greatest allies in the world, Syria. Russia could say anything it wants for now to divert the world’s attention from its illegal take over of Crimea. It remained to be seen whether it stops using its veto power regarding any possible sanctions against Iran in the UNSC (United Nations Security Council). I doubt Russia’s intentions.

Ted, you area bright, scholarly man who devotes much of his life to the well -being of the Jewish nation, and I respect you for all of that.

But because of that consideration and not in spite of it, I must ask you if you have any realization how smarmy the above-quoted statement sounds to anyone with the pride and dignity that befits and is the heritage of our Jewish nation, now one of the oldest continuing civilizations in history?

What you seem to be saying is that the young men and women of Israel dare not take steps to defend their precious Jewish state against the latest Middle Eastern Hitlerite regime, without some stamp of approval of a more or less permanent anti-semitic regime that may seek to hide the fact that they despise us, but nevertheless act as if we were their permanent little Jewish punching bag.

I can think of nothing less honorable than what you suggest. And unless we change course, we never will be able to convince the nations that now count so strongly in the world — China, Russia, India and Japan — that we have the courage and ability to chart and maintain our own Jewish course as we navigate through shoal waters, without having to get a go-ahead signal from the fading and corrupted imperium of Barack Hussein Obama and John Kerry.

  4. US says “OK, Israel. Give em hell. We will send observers. We will have your back.”

And when Uncle Sam feels that Iran has been damaged enough he will call off the dogs – Israel that is – without allowing them a complete victory. As they, the USA, has always done in the past.

After all, a subdued Iran would still be a good customer for US arms and other ‘stuff’.

And Israel can be used in the next conflict, can’t they. They are great at testing and improving our weapons. All we Americans have to do is sit back and send in another Kerry clone when we feel like it.

What a sweet set up! Hang in there Jew boys. Your good friend is looking out for you.
