Where are our leaders when we need them most?

By Ted Belman

INN reports Israel: No Final Status Talks at Summit.

In total denial of the Mecca Accords changed everything, Rice wants to hold the meeting in order to demonstrate progress in Israel-PA relations, but Abbas and Olmert cannot agree on the agenda for the talks. Rice and Abbas want to set out a “political horizon” but Olmert doesn’t want to talk about Jerusalem, refugees or borders for fear of the violence such discussion will cause. Instead he wants to talk about establishing a Palestinian state with provisional borders. Abbas will have none of it.

So what is this tri-party meeting all about? If the discussion of final status talks will cause violence what chance is there for peace. None.

Olmert is so desparate for progress that he has even said that if Shalit is released he will accept the Mecca Accords.

Who will lead us out of the wilderness?

  1. Do you call that corrupt pack of godless criminals and greedy no-goods “our leaders”?? These people are not there to lead us anywhere unless you have a place called hell in mind.
The sooner we wake up (if at all yet possible)and realize that we are only their willing victims on the road to perdition, the better.
