This is a little difficult because I do not know these men personally.
I found myself distracted by the body language of this video. It looked like Moshe Feiglin was seated turned in his seat in such a way that he had to turn behind and to the right of him to see Yishai Fleischer and engage in conversation with him. In other words, Feiglin had his back to Fleischer during the whole conversation! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
Yishai Fleischer had his body open to Moshe Feiglin and facing him. When Fleischer talked to the audience he shifted to face the audience directly. This body language conveyed to me (not knowing the individuals) that Fleischer was open and direct in his communication both with Moshe Feiglin and the audience. It conveyed that Moshe Feiglin didn’t want to face Yishai Fleischer directly and was communicating, “I am not going to be open to you and direct with you.” He did not change his position if he was speaking to the audience, again implying he had no intention to be open to/with and direct with the audience.
When Yishai Fleischer asked Feiglin, “Who is Netanyahu?” I thought he was asking him a simple question. Moshe Feiglin talked around and around the issue, going into the rabbit holes of Menachem Begin, then Sadat, and the Sinai peace deal, before getting around to Netanyahu.
I think he was stalling for time to come up with an answer that would protect his vulnerability but would still be an answer. He acknowledged that Bibi is very talented, and then finally came up with the idea that on October 7th and thereafter, “all Bibi wanted was to just go back to October 6th.”
Meaning what? That Bibi is limited and doesn’t know how to capitalize on an opportunity?
What else could Feiglin mean, that he just wanted to go back to October 6th? That Bibi lacks courage and wants to flee to safety? Or that Bibi lacks vision for the future? Or that he blames himself for the security failure and wants to go back to what it was like before the security failure when he was “Mr. National Security?”
This answer was not discussed so we really cannot know what was in Moshe Feiglin’s mind and what he meant by saying that Bibi just wanted to go back to October 6th.
Also, it should be noted that Moshe Feiglin probably didn’t ask Bibi what was in his mind after October 7th, so Moshe Feiglin was guessing at what Bibi wanted, or maybe even projecting (some of his own thoughts) onto Bibi.
However, I looked up some information about Moshe Feiglin and found out that he has been politically against Netanyahu for many years and felt Bibi used some kind of unfair political maneuvering to cheat him of the ability to join the Likud party. Moshe Feiglin has also taken very undiplomatic positions on a number of issues, but he might say he is someone who speaks the truth and has integrity, and is not in politics to please people. But many of his positions have alienated people who otherwise might have supported him.
So Feiglin had a LOT of feelings about Bibi, and asking him to define Bibi turned out to be a very loaded question. Fleischer was asking a man who had very hostile feelings towards Bibi to define Bibi.
In the end, I think I learned more about Moshe Feiglin than about Bibi.
@EvR1 I thought he was very clear and they seemed very friendly and on the same page. I happen to agree with both of them. Bibi wants to get the best deal he can but he can never just say, this land is ours, all of it, because God gave it to us. And Feiglin’s formula for the day after was also clear. 3 steps:
1) Reconquest of all of Gaza
2) evacuation
3)settlement
“Make Gaza Jewish Again” is Feiglin’s slogan. I say, “Hear! Hear!”
This is from a Christian site but it’s fantastic. Says it all, or at least the essentials succinctly.

@EvRe1
A very insightful comment. Thanks
