Peloni: CNN’s Dana Bash reports on Trump’s possible choice of Iran’s next leader. After Bash questioned if it might be another Ayatolla or religious leader, Trump indicated he had no problem with religious leaders so long as they are “fair, and just, do a great job, treat the United States and Israel well, and treat the other countries in the Middle East…” He also addressed the issue on gas prices, and noted that Cuba will soon fall as well.

Possibly under the Constitutional regime of the Shah (in waiting) or a Presidential democracy with similar leaders
@Edgar
An interesting possibility.
CNN’s Dana Bash – She is CNN’s Rachel Mad=cow.
On the contrary, this video shows CNN’s Dana Bash reporting on her conversation with President Trump, and accurately restating Trump’s remarks without twisting them to suit her own agenda. That is journalism at its best no matter what you may think of her past efforts at journalism.
There is a great “REEL” circulating. each new leader stands up and then get’s “decommissioned”.
Personally, I don’t care if Iran goes down the road of Syria, Afganstan and many other middle east muslim countries – i.e. copiouos amounts of killing each other.
Let the war games begin!
@Donaldo
I have to respectfully disagree with you here. The Iranian people have been undermined and betrayed and abandoned by the West over the past many decades, again and again and again. They are owed a debt which should be paid to them in the form of helping them gain their freedom.
Note that in 538 B.C.E. it was King Cyrus of ancient Persia who came to support and restore the freedom of the Jews. Would it not be a fitting outcome to see that debt repaid today with Israel supporting the restoration of freedom for the Iranians. I hope to see the once important bonds which once existed between Israel and Iran to be reestablished, and to see the Iranian people flourish as they find their way towards a better tomorrow. They have certainly earned such an opportunity, and I hope they will soon find that they are offered the means of realizing this come to be.
